Responsibility for accepting misguided teachings....

It is very difficult for people to disassociate themselves from knowledge they were taught from an early age on and which they therefore do not want to renounce as misguided. They accepted this knowledge without thinking about it and since their education is not their fault they cannot, at first, be held responsible for accepting wrong doctrines. Nevertheless, as soon as they are able to use their intellect themselves it is their duty to scrutinise whether this spiritual knowledge is true. And they will have to be answerable as to whether they used their intellect as soon as they were able to do so. They should not accept all spiritual values as truth without scrutiny, neither can they justify themselves on the basis that they received this knowledge and are therefore innocent if they endorse it during their earthly life. They forget that they are responsible for their souls. They forget that I do not punish them but that they punish themselves, that is, that they remain in their state of imperfection, which can never result in their bliss.... but that I cannot release them from this state because their redemption requires their active free will which they, however, did not use correctly or they would have used their intellect to examine these spiritual doctrines. They remained passive. To a certain extent they allowed themselves to be imposed by something which they could just as well have rejected if they had wanted to.

The fact that people are answerable for their souls means that they have to recognise their guilt, that they have to realise that their wretched position was their own fault and justly identify and admit their own neglect, thus they cannot unburden themselves at the expense of those who instructed them wrongly. Indeed, these teachers, too, will one day have to be accountable according to their guilt, yet someone who accepts misguided teachings is not exonerated from guilt, since I have given the human being intellect which he should use for the salvation of his soul first. Anyone who seriously wants the truth will make an effort and find it too. And every instruction offered to the person has to be reviewed if it claims to be true. Thus the human being is duty bound to compare the spiritual knowledge imparted to him with those teachings, and the right will shall also yield the right results. Yet the state of his soul after his death depends on the person’s attitude towards the truth conveyed to him by My will.... full of light or darkness.... For only truth gives light to the soul, whereas error keeps the soul in darkness in which it had languished at the beginning of its earthly course of life as a human being but which it could have escaped had it used its will correctly....

Responsabilidad por la aceptación de falsas doctrinas....

A las personas les resulta demasiado difícil desprenderse de un conocimiento que les han enseñado desde su juventud y que, por tanto, no quieren abandonar por erróneo. Sin pensarlo, han aceptado este conocimiento, y como no tienen culpa de su educación, no se les puede responsabilizar de aceptar falsas enseñanzas. Pero tan pronto como puedan utilizar su intelecto, también es su deber examinar este conocimiento espiritual para comprobar su veracidad. Y tendrán que responsabilizarse en activar su intelecto, en la medida en que sean capaces de hacerlo. Pero no se les permite aceptar como verdaderos todos los conocimientos espirituales sin examinarlos, al igual que no pueden justificarse alegando que han recibido estos conocimientos y que, por tanto, están libres de culpa si los defienden durante su vida terrenal. Olvidan que son responsables de sus almas, olvidan que Yo no los castigo sino que ellos se castigan a sí mismos, es decir, que permanecen en un estado de imperfección en el que nunca podrán llegar a ser felices.... pero que de ese estado de imperfección Yo no puedo redimirlos porque para eso es necesario su libre voluntad la cual no han utilizado correctamente, de otra manera habrían utilizado su intelecto para examinar aquel ideario espiritual. Permanecieron inactivos, dejaron que, por así decirlo, se les impusiera algo, que también podían haber rechazado si querían. Ahora, si las personas deben responder por sus almas, esto significa que deben reconocer su culpa, que deben reconocer su desafortunada situación como autoinfligida y justa y admitir su propia negligencia, por lo que no pueden exonerarse a costa de quienes les enseñaron mal. Estos maestros ciertamente también tendrán que responder por su culpa algún día, pero cualquiera que acepte las falsas enseñanzas no puede ser absuelto de la culpa, ya que he dado al ser humano el intelecto que debe usar de primero para la salvación de su alma. Cualquiera que se tome en serio la verdad se esforzará por conseguirla y también la encontrará. Y toda instrucción ofrecida al ser humano debe ser examinada si pretende ser verdadera. Por lo tanto, el ser humano también tiene el deber de comparar el conocimiento espiritual que se le imparte con aquellas enseñanzas, y la voluntad correcta de examinar también producirá los resultados correctos. Pero segun la actitud que tenga el ser humano cuando recibe la verdad a través de Mi voluntad, el estado de su alma después de su muerte también será.... luminoso u oscuro.... Porque sólo la verdad da luz al alma, mientras que el error la deja en las tinieblas, en las que languidecía al principio de su carrera terrenal como ser humano, pero de las que podría haber escapado muy fácilmente si hubiera utilizado correctamente su voluntad....
