(Can God suffer?) Love of God....

He Who makes Himself known to you out of immense love, He courts you with all perseverance and does not give you up because you have been His for eternity. His love is unchanging but it is also law in itself, i.e. only love can join love, and since God is eternal love Himself He also desires love and therefore seeks to shape all His creations into love so that He can unite with them. And thus He seeks to win the love of His creations and has no other aim for ever, because the union in love means beatitude for the creature and also constantly increases God's beatitude. God is perfect and, as a perfect being, able to give unlimited beatitude, but conversely He also wants to receive it from His creations which have emerged from His strength of love. But preparing beatitude always presupposes love. Hence, if God desires His living creations' love because He wants to give Himself to them, the lack of love must also restrict the giving love, thus, although it cannot diminish itself, its strength will nevertheless be limited, which also signifies diminished bliss.... in the abundance of divine love only worth mentioning when almost all creatures turn away from Him, thus deny Him their love.... a state which occurred at the end of a redemption period in creation.... (28.9.1948) Then an incomparable longing takes the place of beatitude, which, although it is not suffering as on earth, nevertheless brings increased will to help and exceedingly great mercy to be released. God can never suffer, however, the increasing distance of His beings from Him will result in an increased development of strength, thus God's love will constantly woo His living creations' love because He will not abandon them, even if eternities will pass until they turn to Him in love. A state of suffering would only occur if.... what once originated from God's love were irretrievably lost to His adversary.... which, however, is never possible because the abundance of divine love allows nothing to be lost, indeed, it even wins His adversary itself, albeit in an infinitely distant time for which no human estimate is possible anymore. The fact that God's love ever decreases is completely eliminated, because love is something so powerful that it forces everything and the power of divine love would be enough to immediately make His creatures inclined towards Himself if He wanted to let it work in all its fullness. But His beatitude increases when His creatures themselves come to Him and offer Him their love. And that is why He only influences them to the smallest degree, always trying to stimulate the will so that it pushes towards Him. If the human being's will turns away from God, God's strength of love also diminishes but nevertheless does not abandon him. Courting the love of His creatures is likewise an act of beatitude, which is only comprehensible to people when they themselves are in reciprocating love, which will also never stop courting the love of the other. Fulfilled love is bliss, unrequited love, however, a state of loneliness, which has the effect of a lack of strength or an increased generation of strength.... depending on the strength of love, which is why the beings of the kingdom of light can constantly work in love, even though they often meet resistance on the part of people.... because they are filled with love and even unrequited love is not a diminution of their strength but only increased incentive for activity. People on earth still need an influx of strength which comes to them through love and therefore lack of love also means lack of strength and urge to be active for them, thus it is felt as a state of suffering. Yet the human being remains aware at all times that he is assured of God's love, that the human being's love will always be reciprocated if it is meant for Him, and that His love is the true beatitude for everyone who desires it....

하나님은 고통을 받을 수 있는가? 하나님의 사랑.

큰 사랑으로 너희에게 자신을 알리는 분이 모든 인내로 너희를 얻으려고 한다. 그는 너희를 포기하지 않는다. 왜냐면 너희가 영원으로부터 그의 소유이기 때문이다. 그의 사랑은 변함이 없고, 그의 사랑 자체가 법이다. 즉 단지 사랑이 사랑과 함께 할 수 있다. 하나님이 영원한 사랑 자체이기 때문에 하나님은 또한 사랑을 요구하고, 그러므로 자신의 모든 피조물을 사랑으로 만들려고 시도하고 이로써 그들이 자신과 하나가 될 수 있게 한다. 그러므로 그는 자신의 피조물들의 사랑을 얻기 위해 시도하고, 영원히 이 목적 외에 다른 목적이 없다. 왜냐면 사랑의 결합은 피조물에게 행복을 의미하고 또한 하나님의 축복을 끊임없이 증가시키기 때문이다.

하나님은 온전하고, 온전한 존재로서 무한한 행복을 줄 수 있다. 그러나 그는 또한 반대로 자신의 사랑의 힘에서 나온 자신의 피조물들로부터 사랑받기를 원한다. 그러나 축복되게 해주는 일은 항상 사랑을 전제로 한다. 그러므로 하나님은 자신의 피조물들에게 자신을 주기를 원하기 때문에 자신의 피조물들의 사랑을 원하고, 사랑이 없는 일은 베푸는 사랑을 제한해야만 한다. 즉 비록 사랑이 감소될 수는 없지만 사랑의 힘이 제한을 받고, 축복이 감소되는 일을 의미한다. 그러므로 거의 모든 피조물이 그를 떠났을 때, 그의 사랑을 거부할 때, 한 구원 시대의 기간이 끝날 때의 상태가 되었을 때, 비로소 하나님의 충만한 사랑을 거론할 만하게 된다.

(1948년 9월 28일) 그러면 축복을 향한 비교할 수 없는 갈망이 일어난다. 이런 갈망은 이 땅에서처럼 고통이 충만한 갈망이 아니고, 증가된 도와주려는 의지와 큰 긍휼로 나타난다. 하나님은 절대로 고통 당할 수 없다. 그러나 하나님의 존재가 하나님으로부터 멀어짐에 따라 하나님은 더 큰 힘을 발휘할 것이다. 따라서 하나님의 사랑은 자신의 피조물을 향한 사랑을 끊임없이 얻으려고 할 것이다. 왜냐면 하나님은 자신의 피조물들이 자신에게 사랑을 드릴때까지 영원에 영원의 시간일 걸릴지라도 자신의 피조물을 포기하지 않기 때문이다.

하나님의 사랑에 의해 한때 생성된 존재를 피할 수 없게 하나님의 대적자에게 잃게 되면, 그러나 이런 일은 하나님의 충만한 사랑이 어떤 존재도 잃지 않고, 심지어 비록 사람들이 전혀 상상할 수 없는 끝없이 긴 미래에 일어난다 할지라도 자신의 대적자를 얻기 때문에 절대로 불가능 한 일이지만, 고난의 상태가 시작이 된다. 하나님의 사랑이 언젠가 줄어드는 일을 절대로 일어나지 않는다. 왜냐면 사랑이 모든 것을 강요하고, 하나님의 사랑의 힘은 하나님이 이 힘을 모든 충만함으로 역사하게 한다면, 자신의 피조물들을 자신에게 향하게 하기에 충분하기 때문이다.

그러나 하나님의 피조물들이 스스로 하나님께 다가와 하나님께 사랑을 드릴 때 피조물의 축복은 증가한다. 그러므로 하나님은 항상 단지 아주 작은 정도로 사람들에게 의지를 자극해, 이 의지가 자기에게 향하도록 영향을 미친다. 사람의 의지가 하나님으로부터 돌아서면, 하나님의 사랑의 힘도 약해진다. 그럼에도 불구하고 그를 포기하지 않는다. 자신의 피조물의 사랑을 얻으려는 일은 축복된 일이다. 사람 자신이 응답하는 사랑을 받을 때, 그는 비로소 이를 이해할 수 있다. 사랑은 다른 사람의 사랑을 구하는 일을 절대로 멈추지 않을 것이다.

성취된 사랑은 축복된 사랑이다. 그러나 응답 받지 못하는 사랑은 외로운 상태이고, 무기력이나 또는 사랑이 강한 정도에 따라 더 많은 힘을 모으는 일로 나타난다. 그러므로 빛의 나라의 존재들은 자주 사람들의 저항에 직면할지라도 끊임없이 사랑으로 역사할 수 있다. 왜냐면 그들은 사랑으로 충만하고, 응답을 받지 못하는 사랑이 그들의 힘을 감소시키지 않고, 단지 더 많이 역사하게 하는 자극이기 때문이다. 이 땅의 사람들은 아직 사랑을 통해 그들에게 제공되는 힘의 공급이 필요하다. 그러므로 그들에게 사랑의 부족은 또한 힘의 부족과 활동하려는 열심의 부족을 의미한다. 즉 그들에게 고통스러운 상태로 느껴진다. 그러나 사람에게 하나님의 사랑을 확신한다는 의식이 항상 머물고, 인간의 사랑이 하나님께 향하면, 인간의 사랑은 항상 응답을 받는다는 의식이 항상 머물고, 하나님의 사랑은 하나님의 사랑을 갈망하는 모든 사람에게 진실로 축복이라는 의식이 항상 머문다.
