Godward will - upward development....

Everything spiritual which carries the will within itself to reach Me can only ascend in its development, for even temptations of all kinds will no longer change this will, because I draw the spiritual to Me and will eternally no longer let it sink back into the state of will turned away from Me. For as soon as the spiritual will strives towards Me in complete freedom the spell is broken; it has freed itself from My adversary, and its fight is now only aimed at regaining it, but I prevent it through My will. Admittedly, it is still a constant struggle of the spiritual which, embodied as a human being, has to cover earthly life, because ascent development always necessitates a struggle. But as soon as the will is meant for Me it also has the strength to resist the enemy of its soul. And it is the human being's own will which determines the time of ascent development and the spiritual success he can achieve at the end of his life. For the human being's striving towards Me must take place again in completely free will, although I prevent the adversary from binding his will and making it in bondage to him. A person with a will turned towards Me can never again sink into My adversary's control, yet he can completely escape from him faster or slower, thus he can spend longer or shorter periods of his life in battle with him. For as soon as his will becomes extraordinarily active and this activity is expressed as activity of love, the battle will also become easier, it will diminish in accordance with his activity of love.... For the opponent succumbs to this weapon.... And thus the human being safely escapes his power through loving activity, and his soul matures in a short time and in complete free will. I will never let him fall again, yet he must become lovingly active of his own accord, for My will withdraws so that his can develop freely for the sake of his perfection. And this is why the souls enter the spiritual kingdom in different degrees of maturity at the end of their life, even though they consciously strive towards Me, even though they carry the will turned towards Me within themselves, for I certainly prevent the adversary's superiority over them but I do not promote their spiritual ascent development through My will if they do not let their will become active themselves. The will turned towards Me always provides them with the strength to strive upwards, for I protectively hold My hand over every person who wants to escape My opposing power and has Me as his aim. I constantly draw him towards Me. And he will certainly reach his aim, only the length of time is determined by himself, because he has free will and can use it at his discretion....

하나님을 향한 의지와 위로 성장.

나에게 다가오려는 의지를 가진 모든 영적인 존재는 그의 성장과정에서 단지 위로 향할 수 있다. 왜냐면 모든 종류의 유혹조차도 더 이상 이 의지를 바꾸지 못할 것이고, 내가 영적인 존재를 나에게 이끌고, 영원히 다시 나를 떠나려는 의지가진 상태로 퇴보하게 하지 않기 때문이다. 왜냐면 영적인 존재의 의지가 전적인 자유로 나를 추구하면, 묶임이 풀리기 때문이다. 영적인 존재는 나의 대적자로부터 자신을 해방시켰고, 나의 대적자의 싸움은 이제 단지 영적인 존재를 다시 얻기 위한 싸움이다. 그러나 나는 나의 의지를 통해 이를 막는다.

인간으로 육신을 입고 이 땅의 삶을 살아야만 하는 영적인 존재의 싸움은 실제 아직 계속된다. 왜냐면 위로 성장하기 위해 항상 싸움이 필요하기 때문이다. 그러나 의지가 나에게 향하면, 그는 또한 그의 혼의 원수에 대항할 힘을 받는다. 인간의 의지 자신이 성장이 일어나는 시간과 자신의 인생의 마지막에 가서 어떤 영적인 성공을 할 수 있게 될지를 정한다. 왜냐면 비록 내가 나의 대적자가 사람의 의지를 묶고 자신의 말을 듣게 만드는 일을 막을지라도, 사람의 나를 향한 추구는 다시 완전히 자유의지로 이루어져야만 하기 때문이다.

나를 향한 의지를 가진 사람은 다시는 나의 대적자의 권세 아래로 떨어질 수 없다. 그러나 더 빠르게 또는 더 느리게 나의 대적자로부터 전적으로 벗어난다. 그러므로 그의 삶에서 더 길거나 더 짧은 기간 동안 나의 대적자와 싸우게 된다. 왜냐면 그의 의지가 특별하게 활성화되고 이런 활동이 사랑의 행하는 일로 나타나면, 싸움도 또한 더 쉬워지게 될 것이고, 그의 사랑을 행하는 일에 따라 이 싸움이 덜해지게 될 것이기 때문이다. 왜냐면 대적자가 사랑을 행하는 무기 앞에 굴복하기 때문이다. 그러므로 인간은 사랑을 행함으로써 대적자의 권세를 벗어나고, 그의 혼이 전적인 자유의지로 짧은 시간 내에 성숙하게 된다. 나는 그를 영원히 타락시키지는 않을 것이다. 그러나 그는 스스로 사랑을 행하는 일에 적극적으로 되어야만 한다. 왜냐면 그의 온전함을 위해 그의 의지가 자유롭게 성장할 수 있도록 나의 의지가 물러서기 때문이다.

그러므로 비록 혼이 의식적으로 나를 추구할지라도, 혼이 나를 향한 의지를 가지고 있을지라도, 혼은 그의 삶의 끝에 가서 서로 다른 성숙도를 가지고 영의 나라에 들어간다. 왜냐면 비록 내가 그들에게 대적자가 지배적이게 되는 일을 실제 막을지라도, 그들이 그들의 의지를 스스로 활성화시키지 않으면, 내가 나의 의지를 통해 그들이 영적으로 높이 성장하는 일을 지원하지 않기 때문이다. 나를 향한 의지는 항상 그들에게 위를 추구할 힘을 준다. 왜냐면 내가 나의 대적자의 권세를 벗어나기를 원하고, 나를 그들의 목표로 삼는 모든 사람 위에 보호하는 손길을 펼치기 때문이다. 나는 그를 끊임없이 나에게 이끈다. 그는 확실하게 자신의 목표를 달성할 것이고, 단지 걸리는 시간을 그가 스스로 정한다. 왜냐면 그가 자유의지를 가지고 있고, 자신의 재량에 따라 자신의 자유의지를 사용할 수 있기 때문이다.
