Heartlessness.... The world's battle against the teaching of love....

Humanity's conduct cannot be reconciled with the teaching of Christ, for this requires actions of love, people's relationships with each other should be like that of brothers. But at the present time all people face each other with hostility, outwardly often united yet in their hearts only ever bearing their own advantage in mind and regarding their fellow human being as an opponent, because they either feel harmed or disadvantaged by him. The human race is completely devoid of love and therefore also opposed to Christianity, opposed to the divine teaching of love, which it no longer wants to comply with. For it requires effort to practise love, it requires a separation from material things, a shelving of one's own wishes and cravings; it signifies a sacrifice of that which is dear to a person.... Selfish love must be fought against; the human being must educate himself to become modest to enable him to help his fellow human being by giving to him what he gives up. This sacrifice can only be made out of love and therefore love must be practised.... Yet only rarely will a person make this sacrifice for his fellow human beings.... Each person only thinks of himself, this is why he finds the teaching of Christ inconvenient and supports people's intentions to eradicate it.... Where heartlessness exists, the battle against the divine teaching of love will be waged without hesitation. And this heartlessness is widespread throughout the world, people outdo each other with brutalities they inflict upon their fellow human beings, and thus the whole world can be held responsible for the immense world event which purely arose from humanity's heartlessness and which results in ever greater cruelty and must therefore be described as the activity of hell, as the activity of demonic forces. And yet, people do not recognise their low spiritual level. They only look at the purely external consequences of the world event and not at the spiritual state of those whose great heartlessness also incites their fellow human beings to act with unkindness. And as long as this deplorable state of affairs is not recognised, it cannot be remedied either; as long as the human being does not recognise heartlessness as the greatest evil he will not make any effort to live a life of love, i.e., he will not treat his fellow human being with kindness.... And neither will he approve of Christ's teaching, he will reject it, because his compliance with it will not gain him any earthly advantage. However, he will also act accordingly.... love will be pushed aside again and only result in greater heartlessness.... One person will endeavour to destroy the other without inhibition, he will no longer be able to distinguish between right and wrong and thus exceed himself in bitterness and cruelty, and all love will grow cold, lowering the spiritual level to the extreme, and a world without love cannot survive, it is doomed to destruction and with it everything which does not strive to redeem itself through love....

Lovelessness.... A luta do mundo contra a doutrina do amor....

O comportamento da humanidade não pode ser posto em harmonia com os ensinamentos de Cristo, porque esses ensinamentos exigem uma atividade amorosa, exigem uma vida para o outro, exigem uma relação entre pessoas como a de um irmão para um irmão. Mas as pessoas do tempo presente são todas hostis umas para com as outras, muitas vezes estando umas ao lado das outras, mas em seus corações apenas pensando em sua própria vantagem e considerando seus semelhantes como adversários, porque se sentem prejudicados ou prejudicados por eles. A humanidade é desprovida de todo amor, e é por isso que também se opõe ao cristianismo, ao ensinamento divino do amor, que já não quer seguir. Porque praticar o amor significa superar para as pessoas, significa uma separação da matéria, um afastamento dos próprios desejos e anseios, um sacrifício do que é caro ao homem.... O ego-amor deve ser combatido, o ser humano deve educar-se para ser pouco exigente, a fim de poder servir ao seu semelhante, dando-lhe aquilo de que se despoja. Este é um sacrifício que só pode ser feito por amor, e por isso o amor deve ser praticado..... No entanto, só raramente uma pessoa ainda faz este sacrifício pelos seus semelhantes.... Todos só pensam em si e, portanto, o ensinamento de Cristo é inconveniente para ele e ele concorda com o plano do povo para erradicá-lo.... Onde houver indelicadeza, ali a batalha contra o ensinamento divino do amor será travada sem hesitação. E a indelicadeza está espalhada por todo o mundo, as pessoas se superam umas às outras com a crueldade que infligem a seus semelhantes, e assim o mundo inteiro deve ser responsabilizado pelo grande evento mundial que só começou com a indelicadeza da humanidade e que resulta em uma indelicadeza cada vez maior e, portanto, deve ser descrito como o funcionamento do inferno, como o funcionamento de forças demoníacas. E as pessoas não reconhecem o baixo espiritual em que se encontram. Eles olham apenas para os efeitos puramente externos dos acontecimentos mundiais, mas não para o estado espiritual daqueles que, através da sua grande indelicadeza, também levam os seus semelhantes a agir de forma indelicada. E enquanto este estado de coisas não for reconhecido não pode ser remediado; enquanto uma pessoa não reconhecer a indelicadeza como o maior mal, não fará um esforço para viver no amor, ou seja, para o conceder ao seu semelhante..... E assim ele também não aprovará o ensinamento de Cristo, ele o rejeitará porque segui-lo não lhe trará nenhuma vantagem terrena. Mas as suas acções serão correspondentemente.... o amor será suprimido novamente e apenas o aumento da indelicadeza será o resultado.... uma pessoa lutará pela destruição do outro, não conhecerá nenhuma inibição, não será mais capaz de distinguir entre o certo e o errado e, portanto, superar-se-á a si mesma em dureza e crueldade, e todo o amor se resfriará e o baixo espiritual afundará ao extremo, e um mundo sem amor não pode existir, está condenado e com ele tudo aquilo que não tenta se redimir através do amor...._>Amém
