Suffering and tribulation proof of God's love....

Whom the lord loves, He leads through much tribulation and suffering in order to purify him while he still dwells on earth. And bear this in mind if He imposes suffering on you that seems unbearable to you. In His wisdom He has truly chosen the best for you, even if you cannot understand this on earth, yet your soul will thank Him profoundly when it has ended its earthly life. For then it will also realize how much further it has progressed through the path of suffering it was destined to take on earth. It is only a short time that you walk on earth, but life in eternity is endless. And life in bliss is truly worth the suffering that man had to endure on earth. On the other hand, anyone who is spared all kinds of tribulation on earth has a far more difficult path to cover in the beyond, for the soul first has to completely purify itself in the beyond, and this requires a much longer time and excessive effort. Life on earth is rich in favours, and every suffering, every sorrow is in a certain sense a favour, for it helps the soul to ascend. It is a means that God uses, which is much more successful than the divine teachings are if they are not heeded. Suffering must be heeded and brings about the actual change of thinking. But a carefree life on earth only makes people become more and more superficial, because the pleasures of life drown out all spiritual knowledge and spiritual desire and man becomes more and more alienated from God. For it is certainly true that suffering leads closer to God, provided that the human being is not so distant from God that he does not think of God even in suffering or rejects Him completely. At the moment the whole world is in a state distant from God and therefore does not recognize suffering as a divine mission or admission........ And this causes God to intervene even more tangibly and to shake people out of their spiritual calm. He has to send them even more suffering, He has to help where people are in great danger of no longer remembering their actual destiny but seek their salvation solely where God's adversary is active.... in the pleasures of the world.... And God wants to keep this away from you, and therefore you have to take suffering upon yourselves and endure with patience everything that God lets come upon you as a blessing....

Leid und Trübsal Beweis von Gottes Liebe....

Wen der Herr lieb hat, den führt er durch viel Trübsal und Leid hindurch, um ihn zu läutern, solange er noch auf Erden weilt. Und dies bedenket, so Er euch Leiden auferlegt, die euch untragbar erscheinen. Er hat in Seiner Weisheit wahrlich das Beste für euch erwählt, auch wenn ihr das auf Erden nicht begreifen könnt, doch eure Seele dankt es Ihm innig, wenn sie das Erdenleben beendet hat. Denn dann erkennt sie auch, um wievieles weiter sie gekommen ist durch den Leidensweg, der ihr auf Erden bestimmt war. Es ist nur eine kurze Zeit, die ihr auf Erden wandelt, endlos aber das Leben in der Ewigkeit. Und das Leben in Glückseligkeit ist wahrlich die Leiden wert, die der Mensch auf Erden durchleben mußte. Wer hingegen auf Erden verschont bleibt von Trübsal aller Art, der hat einen weit schwierigeren Weg zurückzulegen im Jenseits, denn es muß sich die Seele nun erst im Jenseits völlig entschlacken, und es erfordert dies eine viel längere Zeit und übergroße Mühe. Das Erdenleben ist reich an Gnaden, und ein jedes Leid, ein jeder Kummer ist im gewissen Sinne eine Gnade, denn sie verhilft der Seele zur Höhe. Es ist ein Mittel, dessen Sich Gott bedient, das viel erfolgreicher ist, als die göttlichen Lehren sind, so sie nicht beachtet werden. Das Leid muß beachtet werden und bringt die eigentliche Umänderung des Denkens zustande. Ein sorgloses Erdenleben aber läßt nur die Menschen immer oberflächlicher werden, weil die Freuden des Lebens alles geistige Wissen und geistige Verlangen übertönen und der Mensch sich immer mehr Gott entfremdet. Denn das ist gewißlich wahr, daß das Leid näherführt zu Gott, vorausgesetzt, daß der Mensch nicht so Gott-fern ist, daß er auch im Leid nicht an Gott denkt oder Ihn gänzlich ablehnt. Es ist zur Zeit die ganze Welt in Gott-fernem Zustand, und darum erkennt sie auch nicht das Leid an als göttliche Sendung oder Zulassung.... Und das veranlaßt Gott, nun noch fühlbarer einzugreifen und die Menschen aus ihrer seelischen Ruhe aufzurütteln. Er muß ihnen noch mehr Leid senden, Er muß dort nachhelfen, wo die Menschen in großer Gefahr sind, ihrer eigentlichen Bestimmung nicht mehr zu gedenken, sondern ihr Heil einzig und allein dort suchen, wo der Gegner Gottes tätig ist.... in den Freuden der Welt.... Und das will Gott von euch fernhalten, und darum müsset ihr Leid auf euch nehmen und in Geduld ertragen alles, was Gott euch zum Segen über euch kommen läßt....
