Desire of the divine spirit in all simplicity.... (1 Cor. 1, 19-21)

Desiring the divine spirit in all simplicity brings greater success than scientific studies without the right faith. In a time of research in every field, those who are scientifically educated and have great knowledge, which they have acquired through proper study, will be held in high esteem before the world. The more diligently he pursues his goal of absorbing the spiritual knowledge already available to him, the wiser he believes himself to be. And yet an earthly child can be far superior to him in wisdom who turns to God Himself in deep faith in order to be instructed by Him. For this child will far surpass any intellectual enquirer in wisdom. There are problems that cannot be solved with the intellect alone and yet can also be solved if God Himself is approached to solve them. And all it takes is a person's humble devotion to Him and a trusting request for clarification, for this requires the working of the spirit and the spirit from God will guide him into truth. And likewise, a believing person who tries to fathom the truth intellectually will clearly recognize when existing explanations are erroneous. Deep faith will be a better teacher than earthly teachers who lack faith. That is why the results of worldly research can also come close to the truth if they have been obtained intellectually but in deep faith. For such researchers have also been assisted by the divine spiritual power and guided them into correct thinking. However, worldly research can be completely bypassed if the human being connects himself in all simplicity, i.e. in the simplest, most unpretentious way, with God, Who is the eternal truth Himself.... His faith enables him to receive the divine word, and thus God Himself is the teacher of a believing earthly child, and He gives him more wisdom than earthly teachers can ever give him. Academic perseverance, diligence and intellectual labour do not bring about the results that faith, love and humility of heart produce.... God has all wisdom ready for the children of earth who desire it and want to serve Him.... And He imparts all knowledge to them if they willingly open their hearts in order to receive wisdom from God. Yet this process cannot be made credible to the world. It only accepts what can be explained with reason, but rejects what it cannot explain in worldly terms. And anyone who sees with worldly eyes will not find an explanation either. But the believer knows that nothing is impossible with God. And thus God destroys the understanding of the wise, and He rejects the wisdom of the wise.... Yet He gives unlimited consideration with His word to those who devotedly entrust themselves to Him, and He speaks through the mouth of those who want to hear Him....

Désirer l'Esprit divin en toute simplicité apporte des succès plus hauts qu'une étude scientifique sans la juste foi. En ce temps de recherche dans tous les domaines la renommée du monde ira vers celui qui est instruit scientifiquement et dispose de grandes connaissances qui cependant ne sont issues que de l'étude ordinaire. Plus il poursuit son but avec ferveur pour accueillir en lui ce qui existe déjà comme patrimoine intellectuel, plus sage se croit l'homme. Et malgré cela, un fils terrestre qui se tourne vers Dieu Lui-Même dans une profonde foi pour être enseigné par Lui peut lui être supérieur en sagesse. Parce que celui-ci dépassera de loin en sagesse tous ceux qui cherchent intellectuellement. Il existe des problèmes qui ne peuvent pas être résolus seulement avec l'entendement mais qui sont de toute façon solubles si à Dieu Lui-Même il est demandé la solution. Et pour cela il faut seulement l’humble dévouement d'un homme et que celui-ci Lui adresse une demande confiante pour l'Éclaircissement, parce qu’à celui qui demande l’Action de l'Esprit, l'Esprit de Dieu le guide dans la Vérité. Et un homme croyant qui cherche à sonder intellectuellement la Vérité, reconnaîtra clairement lorsque des éclaircissements déjà existants sont erronés. Une profonde foi sera un meilleur maitre qu'un enseignant terrestre auquel il manque la foi. Les résultats des chercheurs mondains peuvent aussi s'approcher de la Vérité, si ceux-ci ont été conquis certes intellectuellement, mais dans une profonde foi, parce que de tels chercheurs ont été aussi assistés par la Force divine de l'Esprit et Elle les a guidés vers des pensées justes. Mais la recherche mondaine peut être entièrement démystifiée, si l'homme se lie avec Dieu en toute simplicité, c'est-à-dire de la manière la plus franche, la plus naturelle, car Il est l'éternelle Vérité Elle-même. Sa foi le rend capable d'accueillir la Parole divine, et donc Dieu Lui-Même est le Maitre d'un tel fils terrestre croyant, et Il lui donne en Sagesse plus qu'un maitre terrestre ne pourra jamais lui donner. La persévérance scientifique scolaire, le soin et le travail de l’intellect ne procurent pas des résultats qui peuvent fournir la foi, l'amour et l'humilité du cœur. Dieu tient prêt toutes les Sagesses pour les fils terrestres qui les désirent et qui veulent Le servir. Et Il leur transmet chaque savoir, si leurs cœurs s'ouvrent volontairement, pour recevoir la Sagesse de Dieu. Mais cela ne peut pas être rendu crédible au monde, car pour lui seulement ce qui est explicable avec l'intellect a de la valeur, et il repousse tout ce qui n'a aucune explication intellectuelle. Et celui qui regarde avec des yeux mondains ne trouve aucune explication. Mais l'homme croyant sait que pour Dieu aucune chose n’est impossible. Et ainsi Dieu réduit à néant l'intelligence des sages, Il rejette la sagesse des intelligents. Mais Il gratifie sans limite avec Sa Parole ceux qui se donnent à Lui avec confiance et Il parle à travers la bouche de ceux-ci à tous ceux qui veulent L’entendre.
