Work of the beings of light.... disappointments.... renunciations....

The forces of heaven and earth unite in order to serve the lord in all devotion, and thus countless connections are established which again signify a counteraction of the evil power. Thus, where love is active, the evil power is weakened, for it can no longer be active to the same extent and exert its influence on the person to whom this redeeming love applies. For this is where the beings of light begin their activity by mentally instructing the human being of all dangers to the soul and thus the human being now pays more attention to his soul life. The activity of the beings of light is not always visible but it is noticeable wherever people's thoughts are occupied with God. The greater the worldly adversity, the more likely it is that the beings of light will succeed in mentally influencing people and the greater the number of those who seek God and thus also find Him. The activity of the beings of light is a diligent one, for it is carried out with utmost love and patience. The being of light will never abandon the human being who is entrusted to its protection and will always express itself in a way that reveals its constant care. The human being will go through many dangers which will always remind him to think of his soul's life.... And all these dangers and hardships are to a certain extent aids for the beings of light to direct the thoughts of the human being towards the eternal divine. Once they have succeeded in doing so, their work is easier and more successful, for then there are no obstacles to the mental exchange between beings of light and human beings and the possibilities for success are greater. Divine love gives the being of light great power over the earthly child entrusted to it insofar as that it can assign the events to it in such a way that they promise success, for the being of light's love is so great that it truly only allows the human being to experience earthly adversity and danger for the sake of the soul's advancement, in the realization that such is most likely to contribute towards the soul's progress. And the beings of light are again familiar with the earthly life of the souls entrusted to them, they know every impulse of the soul, every earthly and also every spiritual desire, and try to take everything into account so that the soul draws its advantage from it, which now also causes that man must be denied much of what he longs for, because in the fulfilment lies a great danger for the soul. And now it is also understandable why earthly life brings the human being far more disappointments and renunciations than fulfilment of his earthly wishes. These are the greatest danger for the soul, for they often prevent the spirit from rising to those heights which first bring the soul the success of spiritual maturity. They hinder the soul's mental development through the beings of light, they hold the human being's thoughts back on earth and prevent them from flying upwards, and this is always detrimental to the soul's progress. However, the light beings' love is so great that they cannot leave the earthly child in this danger and therefore remove the obstacle, even though this causes the human being pain and grief. Yet one day the soul will regocnize the love of these beings and thank them for everything that has promoted the state of maturity and brought light and realization to the soul....

Trabalho dos Seres de Luz.... Desapontamentos.... Renúncias....

Os poderes do céu e da terra unem-se para servir ao Senhor em toda a devoção, e assim são estabelecidas inumeráveis ligações que, mais uma vez, significam uma contra-acção do poder maligno. Portanto, onde o amor é ativo, o poder maligno é enfraquecido, pois não pode mais ser ativo na mesma medida e exercer sua influência sobre o ser humano a quem esse amor redentor se aplica. Pois é aqui que os seres de luz começam a sua atividade instruindo mentalmente o ser humano de todos os perigos da alma e assim o ser humano agora presta mais atenção à sua vida de alma. O trabalho dos seres de luz nem sempre é visível, mas é perceptível onde quer que os pensamentos das pessoas estejam preocupados com Deus. Quanto maior a dificuldade do mundo, maior a probabilidade de os seres de luz conseguirem influenciar os pensamentos das pessoas e maior será o número daqueles que procuram a Deus e assim também O encontram. A atividade dos seres leves é uma atividade ocupada, pois é realizada com o máximo de amor e paciência. O ser de luz nunca deixará a pessoa confiada à sua proteção e sempre se expressará de uma forma que revele o seu cuidado constante. O ser humano passará por muitos perigos que o lembrarão sempre de pensar na vida da sua alma.... E todos esses perigos e dificuldades são, por assim dizer, auxílios para que os seres de luz dirijam os pensamentos do ser humano para o divino eterno. Se eles tiveram sucesso nisso, então seu trabalho é mais fácil e mais bem sucedido, pois então não há obstáculos para a troca mental de seres e pessoas de luz, e as possibilidades de sucesso são agora maiores. O amor divino dá ao ser de luz grande poder sobre a criança terrena que lhe foi confiada, na medida em que lhe pode destinar acontecimentos como estes prometem o êxito, porque o amor do ser de luz é tão grande que só permite verdadeiramente que o ser humano entre na adversidade e no perigo terreno, por causa do progresso da alma, sabendo que estes são mais susceptíveis de contribuir para o progresso da alma. E os seres de luz voltam a conhecer a vida terrena das almas a eles confiadas, conhecem cada impulso da alma, cada desejo terreno e também espiritual, e procuram levar tudo em conta para que a alma dela tire proveito, o que agora exige também que se negue ao ser humano muitas coisas pelas quais anseia, porque um grande perigo para a alma está no seu cumprimento. E agora também é compreensível que a vida terrena traga ao ser humano muito mais decepções e renúncias do que a realização dos seus desejos terrenos. Estes são o maior perigo para a alma, pois muitas vezes impedem a ascensão do espírito até aquelas alturas que só trazem à alma o êxito da maturidade espiritual. Eles impedem a continuação da educação mental da alma através dos seres de luz, retêm os pensamentos do ser humano na Terra e os impedem de voar para cima, e isso é sempre prejudicial ao progresso da alma. Porém, o amor dos seres leves é tão grande que eles não podem deixar a criança terrena neste perigo e, portanto, remover o obstáculo, mesmo que isso cause dor e tristeza ao ser humano. Mas um dia a alma irá reconhecer o amor destes seres e agradecer-lhes por tudo o que promoveu o estado de maturidade e trouxe luz e realização para a alma....
