Work of the beings of light.... disappointments.... renunciations....

The forces of heaven and earth unite in order to serve the lord in all devotion, and thus countless connections are established which again signify a counteraction of the evil power. Thus, where love is active, the evil power is weakened, for it can no longer be active to the same extent and exert its influence on the person to whom this redeeming love applies. For this is where the beings of light begin their activity by mentally instructing the human being of all dangers to the soul and thus the human being now pays more attention to his soul life. The activity of the beings of light is not always visible but it is noticeable wherever people's thoughts are occupied with God. The greater the worldly adversity, the more likely it is that the beings of light will succeed in mentally influencing people and the greater the number of those who seek God and thus also find Him. The activity of the beings of light is a diligent one, for it is carried out with utmost love and patience. The being of light will never abandon the human being who is entrusted to its protection and will always express itself in a way that reveals its constant care. The human being will go through many dangers which will always remind him to think of his soul's life.... And all these dangers and hardships are to a certain extent aids for the beings of light to direct the thoughts of the human being towards the eternal divine. Once they have succeeded in doing so, their work is easier and more successful, for then there are no obstacles to the mental exchange between beings of light and human beings and the possibilities for success are greater. Divine love gives the being of light great power over the earthly child entrusted to it insofar as that it can assign the events to it in such a way that they promise success, for the being of light's love is so great that it truly only allows the human being to experience earthly adversity and danger for the sake of the soul's advancement, in the realization that such is most likely to contribute towards the soul's progress. And the beings of light are again familiar with the earthly life of the souls entrusted to them, they know every impulse of the soul, every earthly and also every spiritual desire, and try to take everything into account so that the soul draws its advantage from it, which now also causes that man must be denied much of what he longs for, because in the fulfilment lies a great danger for the soul. And now it is also understandable why earthly life brings the human being far more disappointments and renunciations than fulfilment of his earthly wishes. These are the greatest danger for the soul, for they often prevent the spirit from rising to those heights which first bring the soul the success of spiritual maturity. They hinder the soul's mental development through the beings of light, they hold the human being's thoughts back on earth and prevent them from flying upwards, and this is always detrimental to the soul's progress. However, the light beings' love is so great that they cannot leave the earthly child in this danger and therefore remove the obstacle, even though this causes the human being pain and grief. Yet one day the soul will regocnize the love of these beings and thank them for everything that has promoted the state of maturity and brought light and realization to the soul....

Wirken der Lichtwesen.... Enttäuschungen.... Entsagungen....

Es vereinigen sich die Kräfte des Himmels und der Erde, um dem Herrn zu dienen in aller Ergebenheit, und es werden so unzählige Verbindungen hergestellt, die wieder ein Gegenwirken der bösen Macht bedeuten. Wo also Liebe tätig ist, wird die böse Macht geschwächt, denn sie kann nicht mehr in dem Maß tätig sein und ihren Einfluß ausüben auf den Menschen, dem diese erlösen-wollende Liebe gilt. Denn dort fangen die Lichtwesen ihre Tätigkeit an, indem sie gedanklich den Menschen unterweisen von allen Gefahren der Seele und also der Mensch nun seinem Seelenleben mehr Beachtung schenkt. Es ist das Wirken der Lichtwesen nicht immer sichtbar, jedoch spürbar überall dort, wo sich die Gedanken der Menschen mit Gott befassen. Je größer die weltliche Not ist, desto eher wird es den Lichtwesen gelingen, gedanklich einzuwirken auf die Menschen, und desto größer wird die Zahl derer sein, die Gott suchen und Ihn also auch finden. Es ist die Tätigkeit der Lichtwesen eine emsige, denn sie wird mit größter Liebe und Geduld ausgeführt. Es wird das Lichtwesen nie den Menschen verlassen, der seinem Schutz anvertraut ist, und wird sich stets äußern in einer Weise, die seine dauernde Fürsorge verrät. Es wird der Mensch durch mancherlei Gefahren gehen, die immer ihn gemahnen, an sein Seelenleben zu denken.... Und alle diese Gefahren und Nöte sind gewissermaßen Hilfsmittel für das Lichtwesen, die Gedanken des Menschen hinzulenken auf das Ewig-Göttliche. Ist ihnen das gelungen, dann ist ihre Arbeit leichter und erfolgreicher, denn dann bestehen keine Hindernisse zum gedanklichen Austausch von Lichtwesen und Menschen, und es sind nun die Erfolgsmöglichkeiten größer. Die göttliche Liebe gibt dem Lichtwesen große Macht über das ihm anvertraute Erdenkind insofern, daß es ihm die Geschehnisse so zuteilen kann, wie diese Erfolg versprechen, denn es ist die Liebe des Lichtwesens so groß, daß es wahrlich nur um der Förderung der Seele willen den Menschen in irdische Not und Gefahr kommen läßt, in der Erkenntnis, daß solche am ehesten zum Fortschritt der Seele beitragen. Und es sind die Lichtwesen wiederum vertraut mit dem Erdenleben der ihnen anvertrauten Seelen, sie kennen jede Regung der Seele, jedes irdische und auch jedes geistige Verlangen, und suchen allem so Rechnung zu tragen, daß die Seele ihren Vorteil daraus zieht, was nun auch bedingt, daß dem Menschen manches versagt bleiben muß, was er sich ersehnt, weil in dem Erfüllen eine große Gefahr für die Seele liegt. Und nun ist es auch verständlich, weshalb das Erdenleben dem Menschen weit mehr Enttäuschungen und Entsagungen bringt als Erfüllung seiner irdischen Wünsche. Es sind diese die größte Gefahr für die Seele, denn sie verhindern oft das Erheben des Geistes zu jenen Höhen, die der Seele erst den Erfolg einer geistigen Reife eintragen. Sie sind hinderlich an der gedanklichen Weiterbildung der Seele durch die Lichtwesen, sie halten die Gedanken des Menschen auf der Erde zurück und wehren ihnen den Flug zur Höhe, und dies ist immer dem Fortschritt der Seele unzuträglich. Die Liebe der Lichtwesen ist jedoch so groß, daß sie das Erdenkind nicht in dieser Gefahr belassen können und daher das Hindernis beseitigen, wenngleich dies dem Menschen Schmerz und Trauer bereitet. Doch einstens wird die Seele die Liebe dieser Wesen erkennen und ihnen für alles danken, was den Reifezustand gefördert und der Seele Licht und Erkennen eingetragen hat....
