Lack of trust in God.... weakness of faith....

The steadfastness of faith lies only in a constant attitude which is turned towards God.... It is inevitable that a person will waver if his train of thought moves away from God. Faith is always the result of a deep connection with Him, for the feeling of belonging to Him makes it impossible to waver. The more intimately the heart beats towards the divine father, the stronger and more unshakeable is faith. The child's intimate relationship with the father must therefore never be disturbed. For then divine strength can also flow to the human being without interruption, and this strength first expresses itself in a strong faith and joyful confession of faith to the world around him and in a joyful affirmation of life. His gaze is clear, his train of thought is in accordance with the divine will and everything he does and does not do is likewise in accordance with God's will. The child seeks the closeness of the father, and this also brings him complete peace and security, for all his thoughts are then rightly guided. And every separation from Him will be noticeable to a person who longs for God.... for once he has been allowed to enjoy the security of the father's heart, every state of separation from Him will be perceived as torment.... He lacks security, persuasiveness and trust.... he lacks faith.... he is weak and without inner peace, because he lacks the closeness of the father.... And this is often the result of a lack of trust in God in earthly adversity. Every earthly need should be confidently presented to the father in heaven. However, if the human being allows himself to be overwhelmed and, instead of joining God all the more intimately, loosens the bond that connects him to the father in heaven, the strength will also diminish and this will result in a weakness of faith. You can achieve nothing without God.... With God you will win every battle, without God you will lose. Earthly things separate you from God time and again, and yet this is your own fault, for God does not command your thoughts, therefore do not let them wander away from Him and turn to other things, for this will not satisfy you, you will walk along in constant restlessness until you have found your way back.... Trust in God is faith.... and a believing earthly child should not allow itself to be shaken by anything, it should surrender itself unconditionally to the father in heaven, only then will it feel the strength of deep faith in itself and accept all the difficulties in life without worry, for they are always touchstones of faith that must not cause a person to fall.

Mangelndes Gottvertrauen.... Glaubensschwäche....

Nur in der immer gleichbleibenden Gesinnung, die Gott zugewandt ist, liegt die Festigkeit des Glaubens.... Es ist unvermeidlich, daß der Mensch wankend wird, so sein Gedankengang von Gott sich entfernt. Es ist der Glaube immer die Folge der tiefen Verbindung mit Ihm, denn das Zusammengehörigkeitsgefühl macht ein Wankend-Werden unmöglich. Je inniger nun das Herz dem göttlichen Vater entgegenschlägt, desto stärker und unerschütterlicher ist der Glaube. Es darf also nie das innige Verhältnis des Kindes zum Vater gestört werden. Denn dann kann auch ununterbrochen göttliche Kraft dem Menschen zugehen, und diese Kraft äußert sich zuerst in einem starken Glauben und freudigem Bekennen des Glaubens der Mitwelt gegenüber und in einer freudigen Lebensbejahung. Sein Blick ist geklärt, sein Gedankengang dem göttlichen Willen entsprechend und alles Tun und Unterlassen gleichfalls gottgewollt. Es sucht das Kind die Nähe des Vaters, und dies trägt ihm auch vollste Ruhe und Sicherheit ein, denn alle seine Gedanken sind dann recht geleitet. Und es wird einem nach Gott verlangenden Menschen jede Trennung von Ihm spürbar sein.... denn so er einmal die Geborgenheit an dem Herzen des Vaters genießen durfte, wird jeder Zustand der Trennung von Ihm als Qual empfunden werden.... Es mangelt ihm an Sicherheit, an Überzeugungskraft und Vertrauen.... es mangelt ihm an Glauben.... er ist schwach und ohne inneren Frieden, denn er entbehrt die Nähe des Vaters.... Und es ist dies oft die Folge von mangelndem Gottvertrauen in irdischer Not. Jede irdische Not soll vertrauensvoll dem Vater im Himmel dargestellt werden. So jedoch der Mensch sich überwältigen läßt, und, anstatt sich desto inniger Gott anzuschließen, das Band lockert, das ihn mit dem Vater im Himmel verbindet, wird auch die Kraft weniger werden und dies eine Schwäche des Glaubens nach sich ziehen. Ihr könnet nichts erreichen ohne Gott.... Mit Gott besteht ihr jeden Kampf, ohne Gott werdet ihr unterliegen. Es trennt das Irdische euch immer wieder von Gott, und doch ist dies eure eigene Schuld, denn euren Gedanken gebietet Gott nicht, darum lasset diese nicht abschweifen von Ihm und sich anderen Dingen zuwenden, denn es wird euch dies nicht befriedigen, ihr werdet in steter Unruhe dahingehen so lange, bis ihr wieder zurückgefunden habt.... Vertrauen zu Gott ist Glaube.... und ein gläubiges Erdenkind soll sich durch nichts erschüttern lassen, es soll bedingungslos sich dem Vater im Himmel übergeben, dann erst wird es die Kraft des tiefen Glaubens an sich spüren und ohne Sorge alles Schwere im Leben hinnehmen, denn immer sind es Prüfsteine des Glaubens, die den Menschen nicht zum Fall bringen dürfen.
