Countervailing powers uninvolved in natural events....

The course of the world is conditioned by an eternally constant lawfulness, and therefore one or the other world, i.e. the individual world bodies, cannot arbitrarily subordinate themselves to other laws which would be contrary to those of the eternal deity.... It is therefore also impossible that the forces from the underworld could participate in any way in the governance of creation or express their power in such a way that the effects of this would be recognizable as contrary to the divine will. It would be absurd, for example, to assume that God could hand over His creations to forces other than those serving Him so that they could influence the creations in a destructive or degrading way; and it would be even less conceivable that these forces could elevate themselves to ruling opponents of the eternal deity, directing the entire creation, for everything in the universe is subject to divine will without exception.... And the opposing force is only permitted to test its power on the soul embodied in the human being.... just as, on the one hand, it can weaken human will and resistance to the utmost, but can also cause it to put up the greatest resistance and thus also stimulate the human soul to the highest activity. But the power of the adversary by no means goes beyond this. And if one now wanted to believe that forces opposing God could express themselves in creation, this is a huge error.... The course of the world will remain the same for eternities, and all celestial bodies, all suns, all world bodies will move in the order predetermined for them since eternity, and every change will still be based on the wise plan of the creator, which has likewise been determined since eternity. And this should now also explain that the creator of all things is also now at work, that such great changes will affect one of His works of creation, the earth, which could easily lead the ignorant to assume that here the opposing power.... evil in the spiritual world.... is unleashing its immense powers to run riot and cause confusion among people.... The demons are certainly at work, but not directly.... in the transformation of the earth's surface.... but they have exerted their influence on the human soul and so completely weakened its will to resist and forced its will upon itself that the deity now wants to put an end to this activity and thus wants to prove Its perfection of power, which extends across all areas, to humanity in order to turn its mind towards Itself, since it is not possible otherwise, the human being's free will shall remain untouched and yet the soul, which has already become too deeply entangled in the enemy's nets, shall be offered help in its dreadful situation. And that is why mankind's thinking should concern itself a little more with the origin of all creations. Anyone who looks at everything that has been created and is able to regocnize the will to love which motivated the creator of all things to bring everything into being will also regocnize the wisdom which guides and directs everything that has been created.... And thus he will also regocnize the hand of the divine creator in all events which have their origin in the workings of nature.... And he will realize that everything has to come about and happen this way because God, the creator of heaven and earth, cannot do anything that has not been considered extremely wisely since eternity....

Poderes opostos não envolvidos em eventos naturais....

O curso do mundo é condicionado por leis eternamente constantes e, portanto, um mundo ou outro, isto é, os corpos mundiais individuais, não podem arbitrariamente subordinar-se a outras leis que seriam contrárias às da Deidade eterna. Portanto, também é impossível que os poderes do submundo possam participar de qualquer forma no governo da criação ou expressar seu poder de tal forma que os efeitos disso sejam reconhecíveis contrariamente à vontade divina. Por exemplo, seria absurdo assumir que Deus poderia deixar Suas criações para outras forças além daquelas que O servem, para que tais forças pudessem influenciar as criações de uma forma destrutiva ou degradante; e seria ainda menos concebível que essas forças pudessem se elevar a oponentes governantes da Deidade eterna, dirigindo toda a criação, pois tudo no universo está sujeito à vontade divina sem exceção.... E a força oposta só é permitida para testar seu poder sobre a alma encarnada no ser humano.... assim como pode, por um lado, enfraquecer a vontade humana e a resistência ao máximo, mas igualmente levá-la a colocar a maior resistência e assim também estimular a alma humana para a maior atividade. Mas o poder do adversário não vai de forma alguma além disso. E se agora se quisesse acreditar que forças contrárias a Deus poderiam se expressar na criação, este é um enorme erro. O curso do mundo permanecerá o mesmo pela eternidade, e todos os corpos celestes, todos os sóis, todos os corpos do mundo se moverão na ordem que foi predeterminada para eles desde a eternidade, e cada mudança ainda será baseada no sábio plano do Criador, que também tem sido determinado desde a eternidade. E isto deve agora explicar também que o Criador de todas as coisas também está agora em ação, assim grandes mudanças afetarão uma de Suas obras de criação, a Terra, o que poderia facilmente levar os ignorantes a assumir que aqui o poder oposto.... o mal no mundo espiritual.... está desdobrando suas tremendas forças. desdobra os seus tremendos poderes para causar distúrbios e confusão entre as pessoas.... Os demónios estão de facto a trabalhar, mas não directamente.... na transformação da superfície da terra.... Mas eles exerceram a sua influência sobre a alma humana e enfraqueceram tão completamente a sua vontade de resistir e subjugar a si mesmos a sua vontade que agora a Deidade quer pôr fim a esta atividade e assim quer demonstrar à humanidade a sua perfeição de poder, que se estende por todas as áreas, a fim de voltar a sua mente para si mesma, já que não é possível de outra forma, o livre arbítrio do ser humano permanecerá intocado e, no entanto, a alma, que já se enredou demasiado profundamente nas redes do inimigo, será oferecida ajuda na sua situação terrível. E, portanto, o pensamento da humanidade deve preocupar-se um pouco mais com a origem de todas as criações. Quem olha para tudo o que foi criado e é capaz de reconhecer a vontade de amor que motivou o Criador de todas as coisas a deixar tudo vir à existência, também reconhecerá a sabedoria que guia e dirige tudo o que foi criado.... E assim ele também reconhecerá a mão do Criador divino em todos os eventos que têm a sua origem na regra da natureza.... E ele vai perceber que tudo tem que vir e acontecer assim porque Deus, o Criador do céu e da terra, não pode fazer nada que não tenha sido considerado muito sensatamente desde a eternidade....
