Faith and love are the condition for realization and knowledge....

Whoever lives in faith and love will soon recognize the divine greatness, wisdom and omnipotence. And whoever prays to the father of all in spirit and in truth, his insight and comprehension will increase and he will now see and understand all things more than ever. By believing and loving, he will fulfil the divine commandments and request divine strength through prayer, and it will be granted to him immediately. The living source of knowledge opens up to him, and now divine wisdom flows into his heart and revitalizes his soul and spirit. On the other hand, it is a lost endeavour to try to acquire knowledge if man eliminates love and faith from his life and is unable to entrust himself in prayer to the creator of heaven and earth in his distress. His spirit is, from an earthly point of view, far more advanced, but only according to human judgement, where knowledge is, as it were, made dependent on intellectual thinking.... Yet this person knows nothing, and his ability and supposed knowledge only extends to things which appear important to people in earthly life but which are of no value for life in eternity. And this person certainly lives in abundance on earth and attributes this to his intelligence and strength.... But he thereby only prepares himself a life of comfort on this earth and cannot take over anything of his possessions when his earthly life is over.... And his earthly wealth will be replaced by spiritual poverty. Therefore hear again the call from above: Be believing and united in love.... do not deprive yourselves of the knowledge imparted to you by the lord Himself but accept His divine word with profound faith.... And you will go through earthly life strengthened, depart easily and one day stand in spiritual wealth in eternity. And seek to penetrate into the secrets of creation, and that on the way of the heart through love.... Everything is ready for you, you may enrich your knowledge still and still, but you have to put faith in God before all thinking and acting, you have to seek Him through love and ask for His grace and love through heartfelt prayer.... and you will stand in the midst of knowledge....

지식을 얻고, 지식을 깨닫기 위한 조건인 믿음과 사랑

믿음과 사랑으로 사는 사람은 곧 하나님의 위대함과 지혜와 전능함을 알게 된다. 영과 진리로 우주 만물의 아버지께 구하는 사람은 그의 통찰력과 이해력이 증가할 것이다. 그는 이제 모든 것을 올바르게 보고, 이해하게 될 것이다. 그는 믿음과 사랑으로 하나님의 계명을 따르고, 기도를 통해 하나님의 권능을 요구한다. 그러면 그에게 힘이 곧바로 주어지게 될 것이다. 살아 있는 지식의 원천이 그에게 열리고, 이제 하나님의 지혜가 인간의 심장으로 흘러 들어가, 혼과 영을 활기차게 한다. 반면에 인간이 자신의 삶에서 사랑과 믿음이 없고, 위험의 때에 하늘과 땅의 창조주께 기도로 고백할 수 없다면, 그의 지식을 얻고자 하는 노력은 헛된 일이다.

그 영이 이 땅의 관점에서 볼 때 훨씬 더 성장되었지만, 그러나 단지 지식을 동시에 이성적 사고에 의존하게 만든 인간의 판단에 따른 것이다. 하지만 이런 사람은 아무것도 알지 못하고, 그의 능력과 지식이라고 주장하는 지식은 이 땅의 삶에서 사람들에게 중요해 보이지만 영원의 삶에는 가치가 없는 것들에 관한 것이다. 이런 사람은 이 땅에서 풍성하게 살고, 이런 풍성함을 자신의 이성과 자신의 힘에 의한 것으로 여긴다. 그러나 그는 이를 통해 이 땅에서 평안한 삶을 준비할 뿐이고, 그의 삶이 이 땅에서 끝날 때, 자신의 소유물을 가지고 갈 수 없다. 그의 이 땅의 부유함은 영적 빈곤으로 대체가 된다.

그러므로 높은 곳에서 오는 부르심을 다시 들으라 : 믿음을 가지라. 서로 사랑으로 연합하라. 주님이 친히 주는 지식을 빼앗기지 말고, 주 하나님의 말씀을 깊이 믿으라. 너희는 강하게 되어 이 땅의 삶을 살게 될 것이고, 쉽게 이 땅을 떠나, 언젠가 영원 가운데 영적으로 부유하게 될 것이다. 그리고 사랑을 통한 심장의 길로 창조의 비밀을 알려고 하라. 모든 것이 너희를 위해 준비되어 있다. 너희는 아직 너희의 지식을 풍부하게 할 수 있다. 그러나 너희는 모든 생각과 행동에 앞서 하나님을 믿어야만 한다. 너희는 사랑으로 하나님을 찾아야만 하고, 긴밀한 기도로 그의 은혜와 사랑을 구해야만 한다. 너희는 깨달음 가운데 서게 될 것이다.
