Charity.... ten commandments....
The commandment of love for one's neighbour encompasses all demands made on people, and love for God is again conditioned by love for one's neighbour. Thus the human being on earth will completely fulfil his task if he is absorbed in love for God and his neighbour and builds his life on this basis. Where the heart can make happy in love, there the enemy has lost power, for love is of divine origin, it makes happy and enlivens, whereas the enemy's power seeks to destroy what love builds up. Yet unselfish love for one's neighbour will only ever take care of his well-being but never do the slightest thing to harm him, for this would truly not be true love if it resulted in disadvantage for the human being. Therefore, it can only be in the spirit of the divine creator to take a stand in the service of neighbourly love on the ten commandments which the lord has given to human beings, namely for a more detailed explanation of the individual commandments which, in turn, each correspond to the demand to love one's neighbour as oneself and thus, in summary, are always based on unselfish love for one's neighbour. The spiritually equal attitude can also result in all who are of the same spirit uniting in love, or that the love which has become strong in the human being expresses itself precisely in such a way that the human being wants to give to his fellow human being again and again, and that without wanting to achieve the slightest advantage for himself, for as soon as the interest in an advantage, no matter how small, is predominant, every work of love for the neighbour remains a kind of speculation but is never what was taught to people by the heavenly father in the commandment of neighbourly love, instead, all calculation is only based on one's own desire for gain, and only in those few cases is active neighbourly love practiced in the spirit of God where the human being is only ever willing to give but never wants to take or possess....

L’amore per il prossimo – I dieci Comandamenti
Il Comandamento dell’amore per il prossimo comprende tutte le pretese che vengono poste agli uomini, e l’amore per Dio è condizionato di nuovo attraverso l’amore per il prossimo. Allora l’uomo eseguirà del tutto il suo compito sulla Terra, se sorge nell’amore per Dio e per il prossimo ed edifica la sua vita su questa base. Dove il cuore può rendere felice nell’amore, là il nemico ha perduto il potere, perché l’amore è di origine divina, rende felice e vivifica, mentre il potere nemico cerca di distruggere ciò che l’amore ha costruito. Ma l’amore disinteressato per il prossimo avrà sempre soltanto cura per il suo bene, ma non farà mai nulla per il suo danno, perché questo non sarebbe davvero il giusto amore, se ne venisse uno svantaggio per l’uomo. Quindi può anche essere solo nel Senso del divino Creatore, prendere posizione verso i dieci Comandamenti nel servizio dell’amore per il prossimo, i quali il Signore ha dato agli uomini e questo solo per la più precisa spiegazione dei singoli Comandamenti, che corrispondono di nuovo di per sé alle esigenze di amare il prossimo come sé stesso, e quindi riassunti hanno sempre soltanto per fondamento l’amore disinteressato per il prossimo. La stessa predisposizione spirituale può anche aver solo per conseguenza, che si uniscano nell’amore tutti coloro che sono dello stesso spirito, oppure l’amore che è diventato forte nell’uomo, si manifesta in modo che l’uomo vuole dare sempre di più al prossimo, e questo senza voler ottenere il minimo vantaggio per sé, perché anche se predomina un vantaggio, per quanto piccolo, ogni opera d’amore al prossimo rimane una sorta di speculazione, ma non è mai ciò che è stato insegnato dal Padre celeste nel Comandamento dell’amore per il prossimo, ma ad ogni calcolo è alla base solo la propria brama di guadagno, e l’attivo amore per il prossimo viene esercitato nel Senso di Dio solo nei pochi casi, dove l’uomo è sempre soltanto disposto a dare, ma non vuole mai prendere o possedere.
