Bedeutung des Abendmahles....

Wie oft schon ist euch die Bedeutung des Abendmahls erklärt worden, wie oft schon ist euch die Darbietung Meines Fleisches und Meines Blutes verständlich gemacht worden als Darbietung Meines Wortes.... Wie oft habe Ich euch gesagt, daß Ich Selbst das Wort bin von Ewigkeit, daß Ich Selbst Mich euch darreiche, daß ihr Mein Fleisch esset und Mein Blut trinket, wenn ihr Mein Wort aufnehmet in euer Herz.... Es muß eure Seele eine Nahrung bekommen, die ihr hilft zur Gesundung, da sie zuvor krank ist, und die ihr Kraft gibt, da sie geschwächt ist.... Sie muß gespeist und getränkt werden mit dem Brot des Himmels, mit dem Wasser des Lebens. Sie braucht eine gesunde Nahrung, und diese Nahrung kann nur Ich Selbst ihr verabreichen, denn sie muß geistig gespeist werden, sie muß aus dem geistigen Reich Nahrung entgegennehmen. Und darum müsset ihr das Abendmahl halten an Meinem Tisch mit eurem Gastgeber, Der euch alle einladet, daß ihr zu Ihm kommet und euch von Ihm speisen lasset. Brot und Wein soll eure Seele empfangen, Mein Fleisch und Mein Blut ist die rechte Nahrung, und also nimmt sie Mich Selbst auf, wenn sie Mein Wort entgegennimmt, das Ich Selbst aus der Höhe der Seele zuleite. Denn ob Ich Selbst sie anspreche direkt oder ob sie durch Meine Diener Mein Wort in Empfang nimmt.... immer breche Ich Selbst ihr das Brot, immer reiche Ich Selbst ihr das Wasser des Lebens dar, und immer wird sie dann das Abendmahl einnehmen an Meinem Tisch, der reichlich gedeckt ist, so daß es keiner Seele an Nahrung gebrechen wird, die Mein Gast sein will. Doch Ich verstehe keinen äußerlichen Vorgang darunter, Ich gebe Mich nicht damit zufrieden, daß ihr äußere Gebräuche und Handlungen vornehmet und dann glaubet, daß Ich Selbst nun in euch bin, daß ihr euch mit Mir verbunden habt, wenn ihr euch den Zeremonien unterzieht, die ihr unter Abendmahl, unter Kommunion verstehet.... Diese werden immer nur äußere Handlungen und Gebräuche bleiben, wenn ihr nicht von ganzem Herzen verlanget, Mein Wort zu hören, von Mir angesprochen zu werden.... wenn eure Seele nicht hungert und durstet nach dem Brot des Himmels, nach dem Wasser des Lebens: nach Meinem Wort.... Denn Mein Wort bin Ich Selbst, und es muß euch ein großes Verlangen nach Meinem Wort erfassen, und dann erst werdet ihr sagen können, daß ihr euch innig Mir verbindet und mit Mir das Abendmahl nehmet, dann erst kann Ich euch Brot und Wein darreichen.... Mein Fleisch und Mein Blut.... Dann erst seid ihr an Meinen Tisch getreten, um mit Mir das Abendmahl zu nehmen, dann empfanget ihr Mich Selbst, wie Ich es euch verheißen habe.... Ich bin das Wort.... Und das Wort ist Fleisch geworden.... Und verstehet nun Meine Worte recht, die Ich auf Erden sprach: "Wer Mein Fleisch isset und Mein Blut trinket, der hat das ewige Leben...." Wer Mein Wort höret und die Kraft Meines Wortes auf sich wirken lässet, der allein kann zum ewigen Leben gelangen, denn dessen Seele wird gesunden, sie wird ausreifen, sie wird durch Mein Wort um Meinen Willen wissen, und Mein Wort wird ihr die Kraft vermitteln, Meinem Willen gemäß zu leben.... sie wird also nicht nur Hörer, sondern Täter Meines Wortes sein und wahrlich zum Leben kommen, das sie nun ewiglich nicht verlieren kann.... Und weil Ich es weiß, wie nötig ihr Menschen die Nahrung für eure Seele brauchet, darum sende Ich Meine Boten hinaus und rufe alle auf, als Gäste an Meinen Tisch zu kommen und mit Mir das Abendmahl zu nehmen.... Und es wird keiner ungesättigt von Meinem Tisch zu gehen brauchen, denn er ist reich gedeckt für alle, die zu Mir kommen und sich von Mir speisen und tränken lassen wollen.... Ich habe kräftige Speise und einen heilsamen Trank für euch alle bereit, aber ihr müsset selbst zu Mir kommen, Hunger und Durst müssen euch zu Mir treiben, dann wird eure Seele auch gelabt werden, sie wird sich immer wieder von neuem stärken für ihren Pilgerlauf auf dieser Erde, sie wird nicht kraftlos niedersinken am Wege, denn immer wieder wird ihr eine Nahrung geboten werden, sowie sie nur das Verlangen hat danach, sowie sie sich innigst Mir verbindet und von Mir gespeist zu werden verlangt.... Ich Selbst werde zu euch kommen, Ich werde anklopfen an eure Herzenstür, und wer Mich willig einläßt, mit dem werde Ich auch jederzeit das Abendmahl halten und er mit Mir.... Aber glaubet nicht, daß Ich dort bin, wo nur der äußeren Form Genüge getan wird.... wo ihr euer Ohr verschließet Meinem Wort, das euch aus der Höhe zugeht, denn wer Mein Wort nicht anhöret, der höret auch Mich Selbst nicht an; wer Mein Wort zurückweiset, der weiset Mich Selbst zurück, und seine Seele wird ohne Nahrung bleiben. Sie muß darben und geht verkümmert und armselig ein in das geistige Reich, so die Stunde des Todes gekommen ist....

The significance of Holy Communion....

How often has the significance of Holy Communion been explained to you already, how often has the offering of My flesh and My blood been described to you as the offering of My Word.... How often have I told you that I Myself Am the Word of eternity, that I offer Myself to you, that you eat My flesh and drink My blood when you accept My Word in your heart.... Your soul needs nourishment which will help to heal and strengthen it, since prior to that it is sick and weak.... It must be fed with the bread of heaven and be given the water of life. It needs healthy nourishment which only I Myself can administer, for it must be spiritually fed, it must accept food from the spiritual kingdom. And this is why you must partake of the Supper at My table with your host, Who invites all of you to come to Him and let yourselves be fed by Him. Your soul shall receive bread and wine, My flesh and My blood is the proper nourishment, and thus it accepts Me Myself when it accepts My Word which I Myself convey to the soul from above. For regardless of whether I speak to it directly or whether it accepts My Word through My servants.... I always break the bread Myself, I always give the water of life Myself, and then it will always partake of My Supper at My table, which is richly laden so that no soul wanting to be My guest will lack nourishment. Yet by this I do not mean an outward practice, I Am not satisfied with the fact that you perform external rituals and acts in the belief that I Myself will then be within you, that you unite yourselves with Me when you take part in the ceremonies which you understand as the Lord's Supper, as Holy Communion.... They will only ever remain mere external acts and rituals if you do not wholeheartedly desire to hear My Word, to be addressed by Me.... if your soul does not hunger and thirst for the bread of heaven and the water of life: for My Word....

For I Myself Am My Word, and only when you are seized by great longing for My Word can you say that you intimately unite yourselves with Me and take Supper with Me, for only then will I be able to offer you bread and wine.... My flesh and My blood.... Only then will you have come to My table in order to take Supper with Me, then you will receive Me Myself, as I have promised.... I Am the Word.... And the Word has become flesh.... And thus you should understand My Words correctly which I spoke on earth 'Whoso eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, hath eternal life....' Only the person who hears My Word and allows the strength of My Word to affect him can attain eternal life, for his soul will heal, it will mature fully, through My Word it will know My will, and My Word will provide it with the strength to live in accordance with My will.... hence it will not just hear My Word but also live it and gain the true life, which it will never be able to lose again.... And because I know how urgently you humans need nourishment for your soul I send My messengers into the world and invite everyone to come as guests to My table and take Communion with Me.... And no-one will need to leave My table hungry, for it is richly laden for all those who come to Me with the desire to receive food and drink from Me.... I have wholesome food and a health-giving drink waiting for all of you, but you must come to Me yourselves, hunger and thirst must drive you to Me, then your soul will receive refreshment; time and again it will fortify itself anew for its pilgrimage on this earth, it will not exhaustedly fall by the wayside, for time and again it will be offered nourishment as soon as it desires it, as soon as it closely unites with Me and requests to be fed by Me.... I Myself will come to you, I will knock at the door of your heart and with anyone who willingly lets Me in I will indeed take Holy Communion and he with Me.... However, do not believe that you can find Me where only outward formalities are being observed.... where you close your ears to My Word which comes to you from above, for anyone who does not listen to My Word does not listen to Me Myself either; anyone who rejects My Word rejects Me Myself and his soul will remain without nourishment. It will have to starve and enter the spiritual kingdom in an immature and poor state when the hour of death arrives....
