Rechtes Nützen der Lebenskraft....

Daß ihr wollen, denken und handeln könnet, setzt schon eine Kraft in euch voraus.... die Lebenskraft, die jedem Menschen zur Verfügung steht während seines Erdendaseins. Das Denken, Wollen und Handeln kann sich nun nur auf irdische Dinge beziehen, es kann der Mensch in seinem ganzen Wesen nur irdisch ausgerichtet sein, dann wird die Lebenskraft auch nur zu irdischen Zwecken verwandt, und alles Errungene verfällt mit dem Tode des Leibes, d.h., es ist vergänglich und hat sonach keinen bleibenden Wert. Dann hat der Mensch ein nutzloses Leben geführt, dann war es ein Leerlauf, den er zurückgelegt hat.... Er hat die ihm zustehende Lebenskraft verkehrt genützt.... Das rechte Nützen der Lebenskraft besteht darin, daß er sich geistige Güter schafft.... daß sein Denken, Wollen und Handeln zum Ziel einen geistigen Gewinn hat, der ihm ewig bleibt, denn jede irdische Handlung kann auch einen geistigen Erfolg nach sich ziehen; das Wollen und Denken eines Menschen kann recht gerichtet sein, wenn es von der Liebe bestimmt wird, die den Menschen nun drängt, die Lebenskraft zu nützen wieder zum Wirken in Liebe. Jegliche Tätigkeit kann zweierlei Motive zur Begründung haben.... es können irdische Erfolge den Menschen reizen und zur Tätigkeit antreiben, es kann aber auch der Mensch von der Liebe angetrieben werden zum Wollen, Denken und Handeln, und dann wird jede Tätigkeit geistige Erfolge zeitigen. Dann ist die Lebenskraft recht verwandt, dann wird sie nach göttlichem Willen genützt, dann ist das Erdenleben erfolgreich für die Seele, dann erfüllt der Mensch seinen Erdenlebenszweck, und die Lebenskraft trägt ihm geistige Kraft ein, die er mit hinübernehmen kann in das jenseitige Reich. Euch Menschen ist also das Mittel in die Hand gegeben worden, zu geistigem Reichtum zu gelangen, indem ihr mit Lebenskraft versorgt werdet, die schon an sich ein Geschenk Gottes ist, weil ihr jede Kraftanstrahlung von Gott einst zurückwieset. Doch es wäre euch nicht möglich, den freien Willensentscheid auf Erden abzulegen, wenn euch nicht soviel Kraft zugeteilt würde, die ein freier Willensentscheid fordert. Denn gerade die Verwertung dieser Lebenskraft ist der Willensentscheid.... Und es geht allein darum, ob die Kraft genützt wird im Sinne des Gegners von Gott oder ob sich die Lebenskraft bestimmen läßt von der Liebe, also vom göttlichen Prinzip.... ob sie dazu genützet wird, geistige Kraft zu erwerben und frei zu werden von jeder Fessel, die der Seele vom Gegner Gottes angelegt wurde. Dazu ist dem Menschen das Erdenleben gegeben worden, und dieser Willensentscheid ist überaus bedeutsam, bestimmt er doch den Zustand nach dem Tode im geistigen Reich. Ist euer Denken, Wollen und Handeln nur irdisch gerichtet, so brauchet ihr nur eure Lebenskraft auf ohne jeglichen Erfolg, denn das Ende eures Leibeslebens ist euch sicher, und ihr geht ohne ein Plus ein in das jenseitige Reich.... Lasset ihr euch aber bestimmen zu all eurem Handeln, Denken und Wollen von der Liebe in euch, so sammelt ihr euch einen Schatz an geistigen Gütern an, und ihr lebet nicht vergebens auf dieser Erde. Zumeist aber wird die Lebenskraft nur irdisch ausgewertet, und doch nur sie allein kann euch verhelfen zu einem Reichtum, der ewig währet, wo alles Irdische doch einmal dem Verfall ausgeliefert ist.... Geistige Güter sind aber nicht offensichtlich erkennbar, während irdische Güter sichtbar und greifbar sind und daher viel eher angestrebt werden. Einmal aber geht ihr Menschen der Lebenskraft verlustig, und dann wird es sich erweisen, wie ihr sie genützt habt, ob euch drüben Reichtum erwartet oder ihr arm und elend, in Kraftlosigkeit und Dunkelheit darben müsset, weil ihr auf Erden es versäumtet, euch die Güter zu erwerben, die von Bestand sind.... weil ihr eure Lebenskraft nicht zu dem Zweck verwendet habt, für den sie euch gegeben wurde....

Right use of vital energy....

The fact that you can want, think and act already presupposes a force in you.... the vital energy which is at every human being's disposal during his earthly existence. Now thinking, wanting and acting can just relate to earthly things, the human being, in his entire nature, can be orientated in just an earthly manner, then the vital energy will only be used for earthly purposes and everything achieved will decay with the death of the body, i.e. it is transitory and therefore has no lasting value. Then the human being has led a useless life, then it was an idle life which he has covered.... He has used the vital energy to which he is entitled in the wrong way.... The right use of vital energy consists in his creating spiritual possessions for himself.... that his thoughts, intentions, and actions aim at spiritual gain which will remain with him forever, for every earthly action can also result in spiritual success; a person's intentions and thoughts can be directed right if they are determined by love, which then urges the person to use the vital energy again for loving activity. Every activity can be based on two different motives.... Earthly achievements can stimulate the human being and drive him to activity, but the human being can also be driven by love to wanting, thinking, and acting, and then every activity will result in spiritual success. Then the vital energy is used in the right way, then it is used according to divine will, then earthly life is successful for the soul, then the human being fulfils the purpose of his earthly life, and the vital energy yields him spiritual strength which he can take with him into the kingdom of the beyond. Thus you humans have been given the means to acquire spiritual wealth by being supplied with vital energy, which in itself is a gift from God, because you once rejected every irradiation of power from God. But it would not be possible for you to pass the test of free will on earth if you were not allocated the amount of vital energy which a free decision of will requires. For precisely the utilisation of this vital energy is the decision of will.... And it is solely a matter of whether the energy is used in the sense of God's adversary or whether the vital energy is determined by love, thus by the divine principle.... whether it is used to acquire spiritual strength and to be released from every fetter in which the soul is put by God's adversary. Earthly life was given to the human being for this purpose, and this decision of will is extremely significant, after all, it determines the state after death in the spiritual kingdom. If your thoughts, intentions, and actions are only directed in an earthly manner you will only use up your vital energy without any success, for the end of your physical life is certain and you will enter the kingdom of the beyond without a plus.... But if you let the love within you determine all your actions, thoughts, and intentions, then you will accumulate a treasure of spiritual possessions and you will not live in vain on this earth. However, the vital energy is usually only utilised in an earthly manner, and yet it alone can help you to attain eternal wealth, since everything earthly is one day subject to decay.... Spiritual possessions, however, are not obviously recognisable, whereas earthly goods are visible and tangible and therefore much more likely to be striven for. But one day you humans will lose your vital energy, and then it will turn out how you have used it, whether riches await you on the other side or whether you will have to live in poverty and misery, in weakness and darkness, because you failed to acquire lasting possessions on earth.... because you did not use your vital energy for the purpose for which it was given to you....
