Mimosenhafte Empfindsamkeit.... Gleichmut....

Es sind unendliche Schwierigkeiten zu überwinden, und es gehört ein überaus starker Wille dazu, sich einer Aufgabe zu widmen, die von größter Bedeutung ist. Und es muß eine solche Aufgabe ausgeführt werden von einem Menschen, der sich in vollster Hingabe dazu bereit erklärt.... der bereit ist, die Hindernisse zu bekämpfen, und dem der göttliche Wille über alles geht. Und solche bereitwillige Menschen stattet Gott nun auch mit Seiner Kraft aus, auf daß sie nicht niedergedrückt sind und also froh und frei eintreten können für das Außergewöhnliche in ihrem Erleben. Wo also der Mensch vor eine Aufgabe gestellt wird und er seinen eigenen Willen aufgibt, d.h. ihn Gott hingibt, lenkt Gott nun jeden Schritt der rechten Erkenntnis entgegen. Und es gehört dazu auch ein Herz, das jedem Ansturm standhält. Daher wird solches auch nicht mimosenhaft empfindlich sein dürfen, um nicht unter dem Ansturm auf ihn wirkender Ereignisse zusammenzubrechen oder ängstlich flatternd sich in Betrachtungen zu verlieren, die dem Erfüllen der Aufgabe hinderlich sein könnten. Es lebt der Mensch in einem gewissen Gleichmut dahin, oder er ist erschüttert von dem, was das Erdenleben ihn schauen läßt. Beides kann zeitweise Gott-gewollt sein, denn auch der Gleichmut kann förderlich sein, so gleichzeitig eine Stärke vom Menschen verlangt wird, denn Gleichmut ist nicht Gleichgültigkeit.... Gleichmut ist nur eine weniger starke Empfindsamkeit, braucht aber keine Lieblosigkeit zu sein. Um eine Aufgabe nun erfüllen zu können, die jederzeit klaren Blick und klares Denken erfordert, muß auch das Gefühlsleben wohlausgeglichen sein, um die verschiedenen Strömungen in sich spüren zu können und sie demnach zu verwerten dem göttlichen Willen gemäß. Denn eine jede Aufgabe wird so ausgeführt, wie es Gott will, sofern der Mensch seinen Willen dem göttlichen Willen unterstellt, also wird auch das Gefühlsleben eines sich Gott unterordnenden Erdenkindes so gestaltet sein, wie es zur Ausführung der ihm gestellten Aufgabe gut ist....

Mimosa-like sensitivity.... Equanimity....

There are infinite difficulties to overcome and it takes an extremely strong will to dedicate oneself to a task of utmost importance. And such a task has to be carried out by a person who declares himself fully committed to it.... who is willing to fight the obstacles and for whom divine will is paramount. And God endows such willing people with His strength so that they are not depressed and thus can enter into the extraordinary in their experience joyfully and freely. So where a person is faced with a task and he gives up his own will, i.e. surrenders it to God, God now directs every step towards the right realisation. And this also requires a heart that can withstand every onslaught. Therefore, such a heart must not be sensitive like a mimosa in order not to collapse under the onslaught of events affecting it or to lose itself anxiously fluttering in contemplations that could hinder the fulfilment of the task. The human being lives along in a certain equanimity, or he is shaken by what earthly life allows him to see. Both can be God-ordained at times, for equanimity can also be beneficial if at the same time strength is demanded of the human being, for equanimity is not indifference.... Equanimity is only a less strong sensitivity, but need not be unkindness. In order to be able to fulfil a task that requires a clear view and clear thinking at all times, the emotional life must also be well-balanced in order to be able to sense the various currents within oneself, and thus utilise them in accordance with divine will. For every task is carried out in accordance with God's will as long as the human being subordinates his will to the divine will, thus the emotional life of an earthly child who subordinates himself to God will also be shaped in such a way that it is good for the fulfilment of the task assigned to him....
