Fühlungnahme mit dem Herrn.... Reifegrad.... Lehrtätigkeit....

Hat es je auf Erden etwas Kostbareres gegeben, als eine innige Fühlungnahme zum Herrn gefunden zu haben und vom göttlichsten Heiland einer liebevollen Ansprache gewürdigt zu werden? Es ist dies ein so unschätzbares Gut, und jedes Erdenkind kann sich in solchem Beweis der Liebe Gottes nicht glücklich genug preisen. Ein solch bestehendes Verhältnis in dieser Art soll ausgenützt und verwertet werden nach Kräften, und deshalb wollen wir eine jede Stunde auch nützen in ausgiebigster Weise. Jede kleinste Regung deines Herzens mußt du beachten, dann wird es dir gelingen, in weit kürzerer Zeit zu empfangen unsere Botschaften, und so fahre nun fort:

Der Grad der geistigen Reife ist bestimmend für die Lehrtätigkeit eines Erdenkindes.... Jeder dem Geistigen zugewandte Gedanke bringt einen Fortschritt, und ohne Mühe ist solcher nicht zu erringen. Ein gepflegtes Äußeres wird immer wohltuend auf die Umgebung wirken im menschlichen Leben.... Wieviel mehr wird sich ein geordnetes Innenleben wohltätig auswirken auf alles, was mit dem Geistig-Strebenden in Berührung kommt. So suche der, Mensch zuerst mit sich selbst ins reine zu kommen.... d.h., er suche alles Edle vom Unedlen zu trennen.... Gedanken, Worte und Werke einer steten Reinigung zu unterziehen, so daß deutlich erkennbar ist, wie das Wesen eines Menschen einen Umschwung erhalten kann durch die Arbeit an sich selbst, d.h. an seiner Seele. In solcher Veredlung seiner selbst findet so mancher Mensch wieder zum Leben zurück, der dieses bis dahin verachtet hat.... Er lernte schauen mit geistigen Augen, erkennen seine Bestimmung, lieben seinen göttlichen Schöpfer und fand den Willen zum Dienen. Und so kam ihm die ewige Gottheit näher, würdigte ihn einer hohen Aufgabe, deren Erfüllung überaus glücklich macht.... Betrachtest du diesen Werdegang an dir selbst, so wird tiefinnige Dankbarkeit zum Herrn und Heiland dein Herz erfüllen, denn du spürst es, daß ein Faden gesponnen ist von dir zum Jenseits, der dich mit dem himmlischen Vater verknüpft bis in alle Ewigkeit. Die Lehren, die der Vater dir gibt, müssen dir eine völlig neue Anschauung geben von der Güte und Liebe des Herrn. Es wird nicht genügen, daß du nur diese niederschreibst.... Du mußt sie in dein Herz aufnehmen mit allem Ernst und gutem Willen, diesen Lehren entsprechend zu leben und sie auch dem Nächsten nach Möglichkeit zugänglich zu machen. Dann wird sich auch der Segen dieses Wortes immer mehr an dir selbst auswirken.... Du wirst erhellt werden im Geist, du wirst Kraft und Trost finden in dem Wort Gottes und wirst nur noch das Verlangen haben, dich ganz der Liebe zu widmen, ganz im Wohltun aufzugehen und eine immer innigere Verbindung mit deinem Heiland zu erstreben.... Und so wird eine jede Aufnahme ein Samenkorn sein, das aufgehen soll und vielfache Frucht tragen. Und diese deine Arbeit wird unendlich segensreich sein für dich und deine Mitmenschen. Du wirst dich stärken daran zu immer neuen Taten der Liebe und wirst gewissenhaft und reich bedacht werden vom Herrn, auf daß die Erde wieder einen Schatz an himmlischen Weisheiten birgt für alle, die diesen Schatz haben wollen....

Contact with the lord.... maturity.... teaching activity....

Has there ever been anything more precious on earth than to have found an intimate contact with the lord and to be honoured by the most divine saviour with a loving address? This is such a priceless good, and every child on earth cannot praise itself happily enough in such proof of God's love. An existing relationship of this kind should be utilized and exploited to the best of our ability, and that is why we want to make the most of every hour. You must pay attention to every little stirring of your heart, then you will succeed in receiving our messages in a far shorter time, and so now continue:

The degree of spiritual maturity is decisive for the teaching activity of an earth child.... Every thought directed towards the spiritual brings progress, and such progress cannot be achieved without effort. A well-groomed appearance will always have a beneficial effect on the environment in human life.... How much more will a well-organized inner life have a beneficial effect on everything that comes into contact with the spiritual aspirant. Thus the human being should first try to come to terms with himself.... i.e. he should try to separate all that is noble from that which is ignoble.... thoughts, words and works, so that it is clearly recognizable how a person's nature can be transformed by working on himself, i.e. on his soul. In such refinement of himself, many a man finds his way back to life, who until then had despised it.... He learnt to see with spiritual eyes, to recognize his purpose, to love his divine creator and found the will to serve. And so the eternal deity came closer to him, honoured him with a high task, the fulfilment of which makes him extremely happy.... If you contemplate this development in yourself, profound gratitude to the lord and saviour will fill your heart, for you will sense that a thread has been woven from you to the beyond which links you to the heavenly father for all eternity. The teachings that the father gives you must give you a completely new view of the goodness and love of the lord. It will not be enough for you to simply write them down.... You must take them into your heart with all seriousness and good will to live according to these teachings and to make them accessible to your neighbour as far as possible. Then the blessing of this word will have an ever greater effect on you.... You will be enlightened in spirit, you will find strength and comfort in the word of God and will only have the desire to devote yourself entirely to love, to be completely absorbed in doing good and to strive for an ever more intimate connection with your saviour.... And so every reception will be a seed that will sprout and bear much fruit. And this work of yours will be infinitely beneficial for you and your fellow human beings. It will strengthen you to ever new deeds of love and you will be conscientiously and richly provided for by the lord, so that the earth will once again harbour a treasure of heavenly wisdom for all who want to have this treasure....
