Herkennen van de waarheid alleen mogelijk door de liefde voor God – Scherpte van het verstand

Hoor de stem van de Hoogste: De kracht van Mijn woord zal allen, die zich hier bereidwillig aan overgeven, doorstromen. En de wereld is nu eenmaal niet in staat om een juist oordeel te vellen, omdat het zonder innerlijk leven en zonder liefde voor Mij aangehoord en onderzocht wordt. En zo verlangen de mensen wel duidelijkheid, maar ze kunnen deze duidelijkheid alleen met een gelovig hart ontvangen. Want waar de wereld en haar interesses op de voorgrond geplaatst worden, wordt hun ziel armoedig bedacht.

Hoe verder de mens zich van Mij verwijdert, des te moeilijker zal het voor hem zijn om de waarheid te herkennen. En hij zal als het ware zonder geestelijke hulp onderzoeken, want hij verlangt deze hulp niet, gezien zijn wil om het af te wijzen. Scherpte van het verstand alleen is niet geschikt om iets te onderzoeken, dat de diep gelovige mens echter weer direct als waarheid herkent, want de goddelijke geest werd in hem levend, terwijl het in eerstgenoemde nog diepe nacht en geestelijk donker is.

Als jullie Mij willen herkennen, moeten jullie voor Mij zijn, maar niet tegen Mij. Jullie wil is doorslaggevend. Jullie gebrek aan kennis kan wel verholpen worden, wanneer jullie om het juiste inzicht vragen, maar waar jullie haar afwijzen, zijn jullie nog heel ver van het juiste inzicht verwijderd. De liefde heeft de Mensenzoon bewogen om zich voor de mensheid op te offeren. En deze liefde zal zich ook nu weer openbaren en licht geven, waar naar het licht verlangd wordt. En allen, die zich niet te verheven voelen om er om te bidden, kunnen in het licht staan.

Geen mens heeft het recht om iets te beweren, dat niet slechts het aards tastbare betreft, want zonder Mijn hulp ontbreekt het hem aan de juiste kennis. De aardse kennis is niet voldoende om de laatste grote vraag op te lossen, maar met Mijn hulp wordt voor jullie ook dit gebied ontsloten en jullie mogen in vol vertrouwen de door Mij gegeven ophelderingen aannemen als de zuiverste waarheid, maar in jullie moet nu eenmaal eerst de wil aanwezig zijn om met Mij in verbinding te komen. Dan mogen jullie ook putten uit de bron van eeuwige waarheid.

Jullie hebben allemaal de versterking van boven nodig. Maar van menselijke zijde kan jullie deze niet geboden worden, hoe groot jullie inspanning ook is om wetenschappelijk in dit onbekende gebied binnen te dringen. En zo zal het menselijke weten ook niet voldoende zijn om een werk van zeldzame herkomst te onderzoeken, wanneer jullie hiervoor niet Mijn hulp afsmeken. Maar jullie kunnen dit niet, als jullie Mij niet willen erkennen.

Ik heb alleen dit ene doel voor ogen, namelijk om de mensheid het geloof terug te geven. Ik wil ook niet degenen, die tot nog toe verkeerd geleid waren, verdoemen. Ik wil alleen daar een versperring oprichten, waar het geestelijke verval al zo ver gevorderd is, dat de mens zich sterker waant dat de eeuwige Godheid. Waar hij gelooft, dat zijn verstand de hoogst deskundige autoriteit is. Daar blijft elke onderneming om de mens iets anders te onderwijzen zonder resultaat. En zo’n mens kan alleen maar op die manier onderwezen worden, dat zijn eigen machteloosheid hem voor ogen gesteld wordt en hij zich zoekend naar hulp tot een hoger wezen wendt.

Een smeken in de diepste deemoed verhoor Ik altijd, maar als dit smeken aardse goederen betreft en het enig noodzakelijke, de zorg om geestelijke goederen, buiten beschouwing gelaten wordt, kan dit verlangen niet aangenaam voor Mij zijn. En Ik kan daar Mijn zegen niet geven, waar op de geest geen acht geslagen wordt. Hoe moet de lichtstraal van geestelijke waarheid binnendringen in een hart, dat alleen het aardse nastreeft? En hoe moet zo’n mens zonder het diepe geloof in een Verlosser met Hem in verbinding komen, opdat hij in de waarheid geleid wordt?

De mens moet zich steeds van zijn eigen onvolmaaktheid bewust blijven en in dit bewustzijn zijn toevlucht nemen tot grote geestelijke kracht. En wanneer hij dat in alle deemoed doet, en met de wil om door zijn verlichting dan ook de medemensen te helpen, wanneer hij zich zonder verzet laat leiden en een rechtvaardige dienaar van God en de medemensen wil zijn, dan zal hem ook het juiste inzicht gegeven worden. Alleen mag het motief van dit verlangde inzicht niet onedel zijn. Er mogen generlei aardse interesses doorslaggevend zijn, maar slechts alleen de wil om daardoor de ziel te dienen en de geestelijke nood op aarde te helpen verminderen. Dan zal de zegen van boven niet uitblijven en degene, die ernstig naar haar verlangt, zal de waarheid herkennen.

Recognition of the truth only possible through love for God.... sharpness of mind....

Thus hear the voice of the Most High: The strength of My word will flow through all who willingly hand themselves over to it, and thus the world is also unable to pass the right judgment because it is listened to and examined without inner life and without love for Me. And thus people certainly desire clarity but can only receive it with a believing heart, for where the world and its interests are placed in the foreground the soul is poorly minded of it.... The further the human being distances himself from Me the more difficult it will be for him to recognize the truth, and he will, as it were, scrutinize without spiritual assistance, for he does not demand it in his will of rejection. Intellectual acuity alone is not suitable to test something which, however, is immediately recognized as truth by the profoundly devout person, for the divine spirit has come alive in the latter, whereas the former is still in deep night and spiritual darkness. If you want to recognize Me, you must be with Me but not against Me. Your will is decisive.... Your lack of knowledge can certainly be remedied if you ask for right knowledge, but where you refuse you are still far away from right knowledge. Love moved the son of man to sacrifice Himself for humanity, and this love will now also appear again and give light where light is desired.... And all can stand in the light if they don't think themselves too sublime to pray for it. No human being has the right to make assertions which not only touch upon the earthly tangible, for without My help he lacks the right knowledge to do so.... Earthly knowledge is not enough to solve the last great question, yet with My help this area will also be opened up to you and you may confidently accept the explanations given by Me as purest truth, yet you must first have the will to make contact with Me, then you may also draw from the source of eternal truth. You all need strengthening from above, but this cannot be offered to you on the human side, no matter how great the effort is to scientifically penetrate the unknown kingdom.... And thus human knowledge alone will not suffice to examine a work of strange origin if you don't request My help for it.... but cannot do so if you don't want to acknowledge Me. I only have one aim in mind, to restore faith to humanity.... nor do I want to condemn anyone who has been wrongly guided so far, I only want to erect a barrier where spiritual decay has already progressed so far that the human being believes himself to be stronger than the eternal deity.... where he believes that the highest competent authority is his intellect.... where every attempt to instruct another person is unsuccessful, and such a person can only be instructed in such a way that he is confronted by his own powerlessness and turns to a higher being in search of help.... I will always listen to a plea in profound humility, yet if this plea applies to earthly possessions and the only necessary thing, the care for spiritual possessions, is disregarded, this desire cannot be pleasing to Me and I cannot give My blessing where the spirit is not respected. How shall the ray of light of spiritual truth penetrate a heart which only strives for earthly things, and how shall such a person make contact with Him without profound faith in the redeemer so that he will be guided into truth? The human being must always remain aware of his own inadequacy and in this take refuge in the great spiritual strength, and if he does so in all humility and in the will to then also help his fellow human beings through his enlightenment, if he allows himself to be guided without resistance and wants to be a righteous servant of God and his fellow human beings, then he will also be given the right realization, only the motive of wanting to know must not be ignoble, no earthly interests may be decisive but only the will to thereby serve the soul and to help alleviate the spiritual hardship on earth. Then the blessing from above will not fail to materialize, and those who seriously desire the truth will recognize it....
