Hartstochten

De hartstochten van de mensen brengen vaak zo sterke vertroebelingen van de ziel tot stand, dat er weer dagen voorbijgaan totdat ze zich weer vrij heeft gemaakt van de effecten hiervan. En dan is het lot van deze ziel dat ze moet worstelen om kracht. Jullie mensen op aarde, vergeet niet dat jullie er zelf aanzienlijk toe kunnen bijdragen jullie gevoelens in gelijkmatigheid te bewegen, wanneer jullie je steeds maar deze toestand van de ziel voor ogen houden, die jullie pijn en lijden veroorzaakt. In de opgewondenheid van de mens maken de kwaadwillende machten zich hier meteen meester van en proberen alle haat en bitterheid aan te wakkeren om de ziel van de mens zo ver mogelijk van de huidige weg af te brengen. En alleen het gebed om hulp uit deze verzoekingen zwakt hun kracht af.

Elke minuut van jullie leven moet ertoe dienen om jullie aan de heerschappij van deze machten te ontrukken, doordat jullie je onophoudelijk oefenen in zachtmoedigheid, deemoed en geduld. Wie echter zijn hartstochten de vrije loop laat, slaat hier geen acht op. Hij moet alleen weer vechten om in de voormalige toestand terug te keren, wat hem met een goede wil ook zal lukken, maar wat de ziel toch een stap achteruit heeft gebracht. Probeer daarom jullie eerst van alle onbeheerstheid te ontdoen om die verzoekingen waar jullie mee geconfronteerd worden, in alle zachtmoedigheid af te slaan en er daardoor aan te ontsnappen. Want hoe klein zijn vaak de oorzaken van grote dwalingen van de ziel.

Elke aardse macht is de mogelijkheid gegeven te beschikken naar eigen goeddunken. Als haar handelen nu niet goed en wijs is, dan zal ze zich later zelf moeten verantwoorden. Maar jullie die aan deze macht ondergeschikt zijn, volg alles naar beste vermogen, dan zal hieruit voor jullie toch nog zegen voortvloeien. En jullie zullen ook kunnen volbrengen wat er geëist wordt, wanneer jullie de Heer om de nodige kracht smeken. De Godheid is immers voortdurend met jullie begaan en Hij grijpt behulpzaam in waar jullie om hulp vragen.

De aardse wet moet een richtsnoer blijven zolang het niet tegen de geboden van God en tegen de totale goddelijke ordening indruist. Want dan grijpt de Heer Zelf in om allen die verkeerd gaan, in de juiste richting te plaatsen en moed in te spreken. De stem van de Heer is doordringend en zal zich laten gelden wanneer het tijd is. Maar jullie die over de aarde gaan, houd je aan de geboden van God en het zal jullie gemakkelijk vallen alles te vervullen en na te komen wat op aarde van jullie geëist wordt.

Passions....

People's passions often bring about such strong clouding of the soul that again days pass until it has freed itself from the effects of these, and then the soul's fate is a struggle for strength. Do not forget, you people on earth, that you yourselves can considerably contribute to the equinamity of your feelings when you just would always consider this state of your soul which causes you pain and suffering.

In the excitement of the human being, these right-off malevolent powers take possession of him and seek to stir up all hatred and bitterness in order to dissuade the human soul from the previous path as far as possible.... And only prayer for help from these temptations, weakens their power. Every minute of your life should serve to snatch you from the power of these forces, by practicing meekness, humility and patience.

But those who give free rein to their passion, does not pay attention.... He has only to fight again to find his way back to the former state, and with a good will he will also succeed, but which has only took the soul a step backwards. Therefore first try to get rid of all violence.... to thereby turn off in all gentleness and to escape the temptations which approach you.... because how small are often the causes to large aberrations of the soul....

Every earthly power is given the power to decide according to it's own discretion.... If it's actions are not good and wise, it will have to answer for itself one day, but you, who are subject to this power, follow everything to the best of your ability.... so in such a case the blessing will still come to you, and you will also be able to cope with what is demanded when you beg the Lord for the necessary strength. After all, the Deity is constantly concerned about you and intervenes with help where you ask for help.

The earthly law must remain a guideline as long as it does not violate the commandments of God and the entire Divine order. For then the Lord Himself intervenes to judge and raise up all who go astray. The voice of the Lord is penetrating and will be heard when the time comes, but you who walk on earth, will have it easy to fulfill everything and to comply with what is demanded of you in the world, if you keep the commandments of God....
