Heilbrengende werkzaamheid

En wederom willen we je wijzen op jouw heilbrengende werkzaamheid. Er wordt je nog veel gegeven en alleen ijverig werk aan jezelf brengt je dichter bij het doel: de vereniging met de hemelse Vader. Want waar Gods boden zich inspannen om je in het mysterie van de eeuwigheid in te leiden, waar je doorlopend goddelijke wijsheden gegeven worden en waar de Heer Zelf je toebedeelt wat je moet ontvangen, daar wordt je genade na genade toegekend.

Zie, we willen je wil versterken. We willen je voorbereiden op je arbeid. We willen je helpen opdat je steeds naar het brood des hemels verlangt. Op geen enkel moment zal het je geweigerd worden, zolang je er zelf naar verlangt. En in een voortdurende verbinding met ons blijf je in een toestand van volledige verbondenheid met God. Want wij zijn slechts de uitvoerende krachten van de Heer. En waar het vurige verlangen naar de godheid voorhanden is, daar volgen we al Zijn voorschriften en leringen op.

Zodra een kwade gedachte van de boze machten ons streven wil doorkruisen en op een ongunstige manier op jou zou willen inwerken, zijn onze geestelijke wezens die voor je bescherming instaan, erop bedacht je aan deze invloed te onttrekken. En als jij je gedachten weer op de Heiland richt, zijn alle vijanden van je ziel machteloos. Daarom is het zo oneindig zegenrijk als je heel vaak de weg naar de Heiland vindt, die je verlangen in overgrote liefde vervult.

Daaruit kunnen jullie zien dat elke van jullie gedachten bepalend is voor jullie geestelijke ontwikkeling. Bekijk de mensen wier gedachten uitsluitend op wereldse verlangens gericht zijn, hoe weinig verbinding ze hebben met hun geestelijke omgeving. Hoe achteloos ze voorbij gaan aan zoveel genade die ook hun gegund zou zijn. Alle geestelijke wezens spannen zich voortdurend in om de gedachten van de kinderen van de aarde die hun toevertrouwd zijn, naar het geestelijke gebied te richten. Slechts een kleine tegemoetkoming hieraan maakt het voor jullie al mogelijk om de gedachten van jullie geestelijke vrienden in ontvangst te nemen. Dat wil zeggen: ze zijn in staat gedachten op jullie over te dragen en dan gaan jullie langzaam trede voor trede opwaarts, als jullie dat willen.

Want alleen de wil is bepalend. Jullie moeten in volkomen wilsvrijheid de weg naar de Vader kiezen. En aangezien jullie te zwak zijn uit eigen beweging het juiste te kiezen, moeten jullie bidden om kracht en om het juiste inzicht. En als jullie dat doen, dan worden jullie juist geleid. Want de Vader roept jullie in Zijn liefde. Wie van goede wil is, hoort de roep, want de hemelse Vader geeft aan iedereen en geen enkel wezen is voor Hem te gering, dat Hij niet probeert het naar boven te helpen. Zo ervaren jullie in jezelf onophoudelijk het strijden van de geestelijke wezens die jullie omgeven.

Beneficial activity....

And once again we want to point your beneficial activity out to you. Much will still be offered to you and only diligent work on yourself will bring you closer to the goal of being united with the heavenly Father. For when God's messengers endeavour to initiate you into the mystery of eternity, when you are continuously given divine wisdoms, when the Lord Himself allocates you what you shall receive, an abundance of blessings will be ascribed to you. Behold, we want to reinforce your will, we want to prepare you for your work, we want to help you to always desire the heavenly bread. At no time will it be denied to you as long as you ask for it yourself and constantly remain in contact with us in a state of complete closeness to God, as we are merely the Lord's executive forces.... we comply with His every directive and teach where the desire for the Deity exists. As soon as a nasty thought of evil powers wants to thwart our endeavour and influence you unfavourably, our protective spiritual beings are anxious to remove you from this influence, and when you direct your thoughts to the Saviour again all enemies of your soul will be powerless; this is why it entails such infinite blessing if you frequently find the path to the Saviour Who will comply with your desire with boundless love.... This shows all of you that every thought is decisive for your spiritual development.... Look at people whose mind is exclusively occupied with worldly desires, how little contact they have with their spiritual surroundings.... how carelessly they bypass so many blessings which would also be granted to them.... Every spiritual being's continuous effort is to direct the thoughts of their entrusted earthly children into spiritual regions.... with just a little cooperation you will already be able to receive your spiritual friends' thoughts.... that is, they will be able to transfer the thoughts to you, and then you will slowly ascend step by step, if it is your will. For only your will is decisive.... You shall choose the path to the Father in complete freedom of will.... and since you are too weak to choose what is right of your own accord, you must pray for strength and for correct realisation, after which you will be guided correctly, for the Father calls you in His love.... Anyone of good will heeds the call, for the Father considers no person and no being too insignificant that He should not attempt to draw it upwards.... Thus you constantly notice within yourselves the struggle of the spiritual beings surrounding you....
