무엇이 은혜의 수단인가?

나는 전적으로 충만하게 종말 전의 마지막 때에 내 은혜를 부어준다. 나는 종말 전에 단지 너희가 생명으로 깨어나게 하기 위한 모든 수단을 사용한다. 왜냐면 종말이 오면, 내가 너희에게 영적인 위험이 무엇을 의미하는지 알기 때문이다. 너희는 너희 혼에게 생명을 주기 위해 어떠한 일도 스스로 행하지 않는다. 그러나 너희는 전적으로 눈이 먼 가운데 멸망을 향해 가고 있고 너희가 끔찍한 운명을 피하게 해주기 위해 내가 너희가 돌아서게 해주기를 원하는 멸망을 향해 가고 있다. 그러나 너희에게 자유의지가 보장이 돼야만 하기 때문에 나는 단지 항상 또 다시 너희의 의지에 역사하여 너희 스스로 목표의 방향을 바꾸는 일이 더 늦기 전에 너희를 돌이키게 만들려고 시도한다.

너희의 의지에 유익하게 영향을 미쳐야 하는 모든 수단은 은혜들이고 너희가 벌어드리지 않는 선물들이다. 왜냐면 너희 자신이 아직 나에게 저항하고 너희가 속고 있는 상태를 내가 긍휼히 여기기 때문에 내 사랑이 너희를 돕기 때문이다. 종말이 가까이 다가올수록 내 충만한 은혜가 항상 더 강하게 너희 사람들에게 부어질 것이다. 사람들은 상황을 다스릴 수 있기 위해 자기 자신의 힘과 자신의 세상적인 능력으로 충분하지 않은 상황에 처할 것이고 모든 사람이 운명적으로 나에게 도피하도록 재촉을 받게 될 것이다.

나는 어떤 사람도 그의 심장의 문을 두드리지 않고 지나치지 않을 것이다. 그러나 항상 그의 의지 자신이 결정하기 때문에 단지 적은 수의 사람들이 내 은혜의 선물에 주의를 기울이게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 사람들의 생각이 나를 멀리 떠나 있고 내가 그들의 생각에 강요하지 않기 때문이다. 그러나 일상 생활이 사람들에게 모든 사람이 확실하게 육체의 죽음을 맞이하게 된다는 아주 많은 암시를 주고 비록 몇몇의 사람들이 직접 죽음을 맞이하지는 않을지라도 이웃의 운명이 자신의 죽음에 대해 생각하게 하고 이웃의 운명이 죽음 전에 자신의 실제 삶의 목적대로 살도록 그의 의지에 역사하게 될 것이다.

그러면 그는 삶의 목적을 헤아려 보려고 할 것이고 이는 이미 그가 은혜를 자신의 구원을 위해 활용한 것이다. 그러나 사람들은 은혜를 무엇으로 이해하느냐? 그들은 자주 은혜의 충만함을 얻기 위해 단지 외적인 수단을 사용하기만 하면 된다고 믿고 은혜가 단지 사람들을 성장하게 돕기 위해 활용하기만 하면 되는 선물이라는 것을 모른다. 그들이 스스로 성품의 변화를 추구하지 않는 동안에는 이로써 나에게 향한 의지를 알리지 않는 동안에는 그들은 교회의 관습이나 형식을 그들을 축복되게 되게 돕는 은혜의 수단이라고 말하고 내 사랑을 넘치게 선물해주는 은혜의 선물에는 주의를 기울이지 않고 사용하지 않는다.

그러나 그들이 자신에 대한 작업을 해야만 하고 그렇지 않으면 성품의 변화가 일어날 수 없다. 나는 너희가 성품의 변화를 종말 전에 완성하기를 원하고 너희가 진지한 의지로 사랑의 삶을 살기를 결정하기 원한다. 나는 단지 너희가 이 전에 사랑이 없이 갔던 길을 계속 가기를 원하지 않는다. 내 모든 은혜의 수단과 위험과 처량함과 질병과 염려와 모든 종류의 불행한 일들은 단 한가지 목적을 가지고 있다. 이 목적은 너희가 항상 너희 자신의 연약함을 깨달을 수 있게 하는 일이고 너희가 나와의 연결을 먼저 의지적으로 구하고 사랑의 삶을 통해 나와의 연결을 이루게 하는 일이다.

그러면 은혜의 수단은 성공하지 못하게 되지 않고 은혜의 수단이 너희에 의해 활용 된다. 그러면 너희는 종말을 두려워할 필요가 없다. 왜냐면 너희의 길은 더 이상 멸망으로 인도하지 않고 너희가 올바른 목표인 단지 사랑을 통해 도달할 수 있는 나 자신을 추구하기 때문이다. 그러나 너희가 자주 은혜의 수단으로 여기는 것이 너희가 사랑의 삶을 살게 하지 못하는 동안에는 쓸모 없는 것이다. 그러나 너희가 단지 너희를 나와 연결을 시키려고 추구하면, 너희 안에서 사랑이 불타오르게 될 것이다.

그러므로 내 사랑의 염려는 항상 아직 세상에 내 대적자에 묶여 있는 너희의 의지를 변화시키는 일이다. 너희가 의지를 나에게 향하게 할 수 있으면, 나는 목표에 도달한 것이고 그러면 너희는 마지막에 가서 깊은 곳으로 떨어지는 큰 위험을 벗어난다. 아직 너희 사람들에게 다가오는 모든 일이 단지 너희의 의지의 변화를 하게 만들어야 하고 이 의지가 내 대적자를 떠나 나에게 향해야 한다. 그러면 너희는 영원히 구원을 받는다.

What are 'means of grace'?....

In the last days before the end I will pour out My blessings in abundance. I will use all means of help just to awaken you to life before the end because I know what spiritual death involves for you when the end has come. You yourselves take no measures to bring your soul to life and completely blindly walk towards the abyss from which I, however, want to pull you back in order to spare you an even more dreadful fate. But since your free will has to be left to you I can only ever try to influence this will to change the direction of your goal yourselves, to turn around before it is too late. And therefore all means which intend to favourably influence your will are blessings.... gifts which you certainly don't deserve because you are still resisting Me, but which My love nevertheless gives to you because I take pity on your deluded state. And the abundance of My grace will pour itself out over you humans the more the end approaches. Every person will be placed into situations where his own strength, his earthly abilities, won't suffice to cope with them; every person will be urged by providence to take refuge in Me. I will not bypass anyone without knocking at the door of his heart. However, given that his will is always decisive My gifts of grace will rarely be noticed because the human being's thoughts vastly digress from Me and I will not force him to think differently. Daily life, however, provides people with so many indications that all people's bodies will die, and even if the individual person is not affected himself his fellow human being's fate should nevertheless cause him to think about his own death and influence his will to comply with his actual purpose of life beforehand.... Then he will also try to discover it, in which case he will already have used one blessing for his benefit....

But what do people understand as 'blessings'? They often believe that they only need to use external means in order to gain a wealth of grace.... They don't realise that gifts of grace are offerings which only need to be used in order to help a person to ascend. They call ecclesiastical customs and traditions 'means of grace' which help them achieve beatitude and ignore My gifts of grace given copiously by My love and leave them unused.... as long as they do not seriously strive towards changing their nature and thereby also demonstrate that their will is directed towards Me. For the work of improving yourselves has to be done or a change of nature cannot take place. And it is My will that you should still achieve this before the end, that you should seriously decide to want to live a life of love, I only want that you , who live without love, won't continue on the path you have travelled so far.... All My means of grace, adversity and misery, disease and worry, all kinds of misfortunes and other harsh strokes of fate always only serve the purpose of making you realise your own weakness and to deliberately look for the bond with Me in order to then establish it through kind-hearted activity.... Then the means of grace will not have been without success, then they will have been used by you and then you will not have to fear the end either, because your path will no longer lead to the abyss but you will strive towards the right goal, to Me Myself, Who can only be reached through love. However, what you so often describe as means of grace is worthless as long as it does not motivate you to live a life of love. But love will be kindled in you as soon as you try to unite with Me.... And this is why My loving care only relates to your change of will, which is still held captive by the world, by My adversary.... If you are able to direct this will to Me then I will also have reached the goal, and you will have escaped the great danger of being devoured by the abyss in the end.... And everything that will still come upon you humans shall only bring about your change of will, so that it will turn away from My adversary and towards Me.... Then you will be saved for all eternity....
