사람이 정함 받은 일. 진리를 향한 갈망.

사람이 정함 받은 일은 이 땅에서 자신의 혼을 완성에 이르게 하는 일이다. 영적으로 성장하는 일이 너희 사람들에게 목표로 주어졌다. 너희는 이제 너희의 이 땅의 삶의 마지막에 가서 영의 나라에 합당하게 되기 위해 자유의지로 이 목표를 추구해야하고 완성해야 한다. 그러나 단지 지극히 소수의 사람들이 이런 반박할 수 없는 진리를 영접하고 진리에 합당하게 이 땅의 삶을 산다. 그러나 많은 사람들은 현혹 된 생각하고 영적으로 눈이 멀었고 그들에게 진리를 이해할 수 있게 해주면, 감동을 받지 않는다. 그들은 단지 그들의 혼의 저조한 성장단계만을 증명할 수 있고 성장 정도를 높이기 위해 아무 일도 하지 않고 이 땅의 삶의 목적을 믿지 않고 어떠한 책임도 믿지 않는다. 그들은 또한 피조물들과 창조주와의 연관관계를 믿지 않고 그들이 이 땅의 육신을 벗으면, 나중에 그들이 무엇이 될 것인지에 대한 가장 중요한 설명을 구하려고 하지 않는다. 왜냐면 그들은 죽음 후에 계속 산다는 것을 믿지 않기 때문이다.

그럴지라도 그들의 불신이 책임을 면하게 해줄 수 없다. 왜냐면 그들이 자유의지를 가지고 있기 때문이다. 그들은 믿지 않고 하나님의 대한 그들의 자세를 갖도록 강요받지 않았고 그들은 자유의지로 이제 하나님을 향한 올바른 자세를 통해 항상 지속적으로 그들의 생각과 행동이 인도받기 위해 하나님께 자신을 헌신할 수 있다. 왜냐면 모든 사람이 하나님께 향할 수 있기 때문이다. 그는 하나님으로부터 등을 돌리는 일에 대해 단지 그가 이를 원하지 않는다는 올바른 근거를 댈 수 있다. 왜냐면 그가 진리를 체험하기 원하면, 하나님으로부터 진리가 그에게 주어지기 때문이다. 그러면 사람이 스스로 하나님과 올바른 관계를 이룬다.

사람들이 서로 다르게 생각하고 원하는 일은 그들 자신에게 달려있다. 왜냐면 진리를 향한 의지가 올바른 생각을 보장해주기 때문이다. 그러므로 모든 사람이 스스로 얼마나 자신이 진리를 갈망하는지 점검해야 하고 그가 무관심하게 그에게 주어지는 모든 것을 믿을 만한 것으로 영접하면, 그에게 진리를 향한 갈망이 없는 것이다. 갈망이 있다면 그가 시험해보았을 것이다. 그가 자신에게 주어지는 모든 것을 거부하면, 이는 마찬가지로 진리에 대한 무관심이라고 할 수 있다. 그는 진리를 구하지 않고 그러므로 절대로 진리를 진리로 깨달을 수 없다.

사람에게 지식이 없다면, 그가 영적으로 눈이 먼 가운데 산다면, 이는 그 자신의 책임이다. 왜냐면 그 안에 진리를 향한 갈망이 없기 때문이다. 어떤 사람도 무엇이 진리인지 알지 못했고 또한 진리인지 자신이 절대로 판단할 수 없기 때문에 그가 모든 것을 거부했다는 핑계를 댈 수 없다. 그가 실제 스스로 지식이 진리인지 시험해보는 일은 불가능하다. 왜냐면 그가 이런 시험을 위해 하나님의 도움을 요청해야만 하고 단지 그의 이성으로는 이런 시험을 할 수 없기 때문이다. 그러나 그가 하나님 자신에게 도움을 청하고 영을 밝게 해주기를 구하면, 그는 선명하게 깨닫고 진리와 오류를 구별할 수 있게 될 것이다.

그러나 이렇게 되기 위해 하나님을 믿는 믿음이 필요하다. 만약에 사람의 의지가 선하면, 심지어 이성도 이런 믿음에 동의한다. 왜냐면 모든 창조물이 지혜롭고 전능한 창조주가 존재한다는 것을 증거하기 때문이다. 그러므로 이런 영원한 창조주의 영에게 도움을 청하는 일이 모든 진리 안으로 들어가려고 갈망하는 지혜로운 사람들에게 가능해야 하고 이런 사람에게 또한 곧 그들이 이 땅에서 정함받은 일에 대한 설명이 주어질 것이다. 그는 자신의 이 땅의 삶에 올바른 의미를 부여하게 될 것이고 더 이상 경박하게 살지 않을 것이다. 그는 자신의 혼에 대한 책임감을 의식할 것이고 혼이 최고로 가능한 완성에 도달하도록 도울 것이다.

The human being’s destiny.... Desire for truth....

The human being's destiny is the perfection of his soul on earth.... You humans were given the goal of spiritual maturity, which you should strive for and accomplish voluntarily, so that you will be suitable for the spiritual kingdom at the end of your earthly life. However, this irrefutable truth is only accepted by a few who will live their earthly lives accordingly.... Most people's thoughts are still deluded, they are spiritually blind and will not allow themselves to be disturbed when they are confronted by the truth.... They are only able to demonstrate their soul's low degree of development but do nothing in order to improve it.... they do not believe.... neither in a purpose of earthly life nor in accountability. Nor do they believe in a connection between creation and Creator.... and do not look for any clarification of what is tremendously important: what will happen to them after they have left their earthly body.... since they do not believe in life after death either....

Nevertheless, their unbelief will not protect them from their responsibility because they have free will and are not forced into unbelief, into their attitude towards God.... to Whom they could have given themselves voluntarily in order to then be constantly guided in their thoughts and actions as a result of their right attitude for God.... Because every person can turn to God, and he has no valid excuse for turning away from him other than that he doesn't want to.... Because as soon as he wants to know the truth it will be given to him by God, and then the human being himself will establish the right relationship with God.... That people's thoughts and wants differ is their own doing since the desire for truth assures correct thinking. Hence everyone should scrutinise himself as to how much he himself wants the truth.... If he indifferently accepts everything given to him as credible he will have no desire for truth himself or else he would scrutinise it.... And if he rejects everything given to him it could equally be an indifference to truth, which he is not seeking and which he therefore will never be able to recognise as truth either.

It is a person's own fault if he is ignorant, if he walks in spiritual blindness, because there is no desire for truth in him.... And no person can use the excuse that he does not know what truth is and could never assess it himself either.... on account of which he will reject everything. It is undeniably impossible for him to examine whether any information is based on truth, because he has to request God's support for it.... since his intellect alone is unable to carry out such an investigation. However, as soon as he turns to God Himself for support, for spiritual enlightenment, he will clearly know and be able to differentiate between truth and error.... But this requires faith in God.... And even the intellect will be able to affirm this faith if the person's will is good.... because all of creation is witness to the existence of a wise, omnipotent Creator and every intelligent human being wanting to penetrate the truth should be able to call upon this creative Spirit of eternity for help.... And he will soon receive clarification about his task on earth; he will give the right meaning to his life on earth and no longer live carelessly. He will be conscious of his responsibility for his soul and enable it to achieve the highest possible level of perfection....
