영적인 재물이나 또는 세상의 재물. 더 나은 부분.

너희는 나와 내 나라를 얻기를 추구하고 실제 너희의 이 땅의 운명을 너희에게 더 견딜 수 있게 만들 수 있지만 그러나 나에게 향하는 길을 찾는 일을 더 어렵게 만드는 것을 희생하면, 너희는 진실로 너희를 위해 더 나은 부분을 택한 것이다. 너희가 이런 모든 것을 포기하면, 너희에게 불이익이 되지 않는다. 왜냐면 너희의 몫은 지속되는 것이기 때문이고 반면에 세상 재물은 사라지고 너희가 이 땅에서 너희의 혼을 돌보지 않으면, 너희의 혼은 가난하게 머물기 때문이다. 이 땅의 너희의 운명은 세상 사람들에게 가난하고 부족하게 보이지만 그러나 너희는 언젠가 영광 가운데 영적으로 부유하게 되는 반면에 세상 사람들은 이 땅의 가장 큰 부와 명성에도 불구하고 불쌍하게 저세상의 나라로 들어가게 된다.

너희의 영적인 추구를 포기하도록 설득당하지 말라. 자원하여 세상 이익을 포기하고 세상 재물 대신에 영적 재물을 얻으려고 시도하라. 그러면 너희가 이 땅에서 실제 더 불리한 부분을 택한 일을 후회할 필요가 없게 될 것이다. 그러나 너희는 영적으로 훨씬 더 높이 서고 이제 자신의 행복과 많은 혼들의 행복을 위해 너희의 부를 가지고 일할 수 있게 된다. 너희는 실제 이 땅에서 너희 이웃보다 뒤떨어져 있지만 너희가 이미 이 세상에 속하지 않는 하나님의 나라의 후보자이기 때문에 승리자인 반면에 세상 사람은 하나님의 나라를 소유할 수 없다. 왜냐면 그들이 하나님과 세상을 동시에 섬길 수 없고 언젠가 그들이 이 땅에서 얻어야만 하는 나라에 들어갈 권리가 없고 힘이 없이 머물게 될 것이기 때문이다.

그러므로 사람은 이 땅의 세상을 극복해야만 하고 세상의 기쁨과 즐거움에 대항해 싸워야만 한다. 왜냐면 세상의 기쁨과 즐거움이 사람이 영의 나라에 들어가는 일을 막고 이에 대항해 내 나라로 향하는 길을 여는 승리를 해야만 하기 때문이다. 그러나 영적인 재물은 이 땅의 삶에서 그다지 유혹적이지 않아 사람들이 갈망하지 않는다. 그러나 영적인 재물은 그의 가치를 유지하고 너희가 이 땅의 생명을 잃게 되면, 너희 사람들에게서 빼앗을 수 없는 재물이다. 그러므로 이런 재물을 얻고 너희가 이 땅에서 인간으로 사는 은혜를 입은 동안에 쉬지 않고 하나님의 나라를 추구하라. 왜냐면 영원히 지속되는 나라를 위해 자신을 준비하는 일이 이 땅의 과제이기 때문이다. 이로써 너희를 위해 축복된 삶이 되게 하고 이 땅에서 영원히 지속되는 나라에서 유일하게 가치가 있는 재물을 얻으라.

Spiritual or earthly goods.... better part....

You have truly chosen the better part for yourselves if you strive to gain Me and My kingdom and pray for it, which could certainly make your earthly fate more bearable but makes it more difficult for you to find the path to Me. You are not at a disadvantage if you give everything away, for your share will last, whereas the former will perish and your soul will remain in poverty if you did not think of it on earth. Although your lot on earth appears poor and meagre to the worldling, one day you will stand in splendour and spiritual wealth, while the latter will enter the kingdom of the beyond extremely miserable despite the greatest earthly wealth and prestige. Don't let them persuade you to give up your spiritual striving.... voluntarily renounce earthly gain on earth and instead seek to acquire spiritual goods, and you will not need to regret that you have indeed chosen the worse part on earth but that spiritually you are far higher and can now work with your wealth for your own and many souls' happiness. On earth you are indeed behind your fellow human beings and yet you are the winners, for you are already aspirants of God's kingdom, which is not of this world, whereas the worldlings cannot take possession of this kingdom because they cannot serve God and the world at the same time, but one day they will stand outside without the right and without the strength to enter a kingdom which had to be acquired on this earth. Therefore the earthly world has to be overcome, a battle has to be declared against earthly joys and pleasures because they prevent the human being's entry into the spiritual kingdom, because victory has to be won over them first so that the path into My kingdom becomes free. Spiritual goods, however, are not so tempting in earthly life that they are desired, and yet they are these goods which retain their value and cannot be taken away from you humans if you lose your earthly life.... Therefore acquire them and strive ceaselessly for the kingdom of God as long as you have the grace to live as a human being on this earth.... For this is your earthly task, to prepare yourselves for the kingdom which lasts forever.... And that it may be a life of bliss for you, create for yourselves on earth the goods which alone will be valued in that kingdom.... Set your mind on Me and My kingdom and you will truly have acquired the best part....
