영의 역사. 직업인가 부르심인가.

너희가 입을 열어 나와 내 나라를 위해 일하고, 나와 내 이름을 위해 말하고, 이웃에게 복음을 전하라는 촉구를 받을 때 너희에게 진실로 내 말씀이 제공된다. 너희는 또한 이런 모든 일을 순전히 세상적인 이유로 행할 수 있고, 내 말씀을 선포하는 일을 너희의 직업으로 만들고, 실제 이웃의 혼의 구원을 촉진하는 직분을 계속하여 행사할 수 있다. 그러나 이를 행하는 사람으로서 너희 자신이 너희를 먼저 내 복음의 올바른 선포자가 되기에 적합하게 만드는 내적인 나와의 깊은 유대를 찾지 못한 동안에는, 그런 직분은 아직 세상적인 직분이다.

너희가 내 이름으로 말하면, 나 자신이 너희를 통해 말할 기회가 만들어져야 한다. 즉 너희가 내 대신에 마치 내가 육체적으로 듣는 사람들 청중 앞에 서있지는 않지만 너희에게 말하는 사람의 심장 안에 실제 거하고 그러면 그의 입술에 내 말씀을 넣어주고 그는 단지 말하기만 하면 된다. 그러면 그의 말이 듣는 사람들의 심장 안으로 들어갈 수 있게 된다. 그렇다면 이 땅의 내 대변자 자신이 내가 그의 심장 안에 거하도록 허용하는 나와의 연결을 이뤄야만 한다는 것보다 더 이해하기 쉬운 일이 있느냐? 내가 그를 통해 말하기 때문에 그가 그 안에 내 영이 역사하는 일을 가능하게 여길 정도로, 그가 이성의 생각이 없이 설교할 수 있게 되는 일을 가능하게 여길 정도로 생명력이 있게 나를 믿어야만 하는 것보다 더 이해하기 쉬운 일이 있느냐?

그가 이런 생명력이 있는 믿음에 도달하기 위해 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 이웃사랑의 삶을 살아야만 하는 것보다 더 이해하기 쉬운 일이 있느냐? 그가 사랑을 통해 비로소 내가 그 안에 임재할 수 있게 나와의 연결을 이룰 수 있다는 것보다 더 이해하기 쉬운 일이 있느냐? 그러므로 내 말씀을 올바르게 선포하는 사람은 단지 소수이고, 말씀이 그의 힘을 잃게 된다. 왜냐면 말씀을 자주 단지 문자적인 의미로 해석하고, 말씀의 영적인 의미를 잃는 경우가 많고, 내가 이 땅에 거할 때 말한 말씀의 의미를 너희가 이해하기 위해서는 내 영이 너희 안에서 역사해야만 하기 때문이다.

내 말씀은 내 능력으로 축복을 받았고, 너희는 죽은 문자를 내 말씀으로 여길 수 없고, 문자는 내 영을 통해 비로소 생명력이 있게 된다. 그러면 문자가 힘이 충만하게 되고, 아주 큰 효력이 있어, 선한 의지를 가지고 내 말씀을 받기를 원하고, 그들의 의지를 통해 그들 안에서 내 영이 역사하게 하고, 이로써 죽은 설교에 생명을 부여하는 듣는 사람의 심장 안으로 들어갈 수 있게 된다.

내 영은 너희 모두 안에서 효력을 나타낼 수 있게 돼야만 하고, 너희가 사랑의 삶을 살고, 너희의 심장을 내 영이 거할 수 있게 준비한다면, 그렇게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 그러면 나 자신이 너희를 소유할 수 있고, 너희에게 이제 항상 임재하고 또한 너희 안에서 역사할 수 있기 때문이다. 사랑의 삶을 사는 사람은 내 안에 거하고, 내가 그 안에 거하고, 나는 그에게 나 자신을 계시해주기를 원하고, 그가 진리를 알게 하고, 그가 내가 해준 모든 말을 생각나게 한다. 내가 약속한대로 내 영이 그에게 임하게 될 것이다.

Spiritual work.... profession or appointed....

My word is truly given to you with the opening of your mouth, if it urges you to work for Me and My kingdom, to speak for Me and My name and to proclaim the gospel to your fellow human beings.... You can certainly also do all this for purely worldly reasons, you can have chosen the proclamation of My word as your profession and now constantly administer an office which is certainly intended to promote the salvation of your fellow human beings, but it will nevertheless remain a worldly office as long as you yourselves, as its providers, have not found the deep inner bond with Me which only makes you suitable to be true proclaimers of My gospel. If you speak in My name, the possibility should be created that I Myself speak through you, that you thus speak in My stead, that I certainly do not physically stand in front of the listeners but am certainly in the heart of the one who speaks to them and thus put My words into his mouth, which he only needs to utter in order to also find entrance into the hearts of those who listen to him. But what is more understandable than that My representative on earth himself must have entered into the bond with Me which allows My presence in his heart? What is more understandable than that he must believe in Me so vividly that he considers My working of the spirit in him possible, that he can preach without intellectual thought because it is I Who speaks through him?.... What is more understandable than that he must live a life of unselfish neighbourly love in order to attain this living faith?.... That he can only unite with Me through love so that I can be present in him? This is why there are only few true proclaimers of My word, and this is why the word has also lost its strength, because it is often just an interpretation of letters whose spiritual meaning has been lost, because My spirit has to work in you humans in order to grasp the meaning of the words I once spoke when I lived on earth. My word is blessed with My strength.... You cannot call the dead letters My word, they only come alive through My spirit, but then they are powerful and of such unheard-of effectiveness that they can penetrate the hearts of the listeners who are of good will again and want to receive My word.... but who, through their will, also already let My spirit work in them and then can also give life to a dead sermon.... My spirit must be able to be effective in all of you, and it will also be so if you live in love and prepare your heart for Me as a dwelling place, since I Myself can take possession of it and now, as always present to you, can also work in you.... Whoever remains in love remains in Me and I in him.... And I will reveal Myself to him, I will introduce him to the truth and remind him of everything I have said.... My Spirit will come upon him as I have promised....
