하나님의 말씀에 대항하려는 사람들의 의지.

얼마나 적은 수의 사람들이 하나님의 말씀의 효력에 자신을 드리는지, 주목할 만한 일이다. 사람들이 얼마나 적게 그들에게 특별한 방법으로 전달되는 것에 주의를 기울이고, 내적으로 그것에 반항하고 조용히 또는 공개적으로 거절하는 지, 주목할 만한 일이다. 사람들은 이미 하나님의 대적자의 영향을 많이 받고 있다. 하나님의 대적자는 사람들의 판단력을 흐리게 하고 의지를 약하게 한다. 그러므로 사람들이 자신들에게 부족한 것과 자신들에게 도움을 줄 수 있는 것이 무엇인지 깨닫지 못하고 깨닫기를 원하지 않는다. 가장 중요한 것들이 그들에게 전혀 중요하지 않은 것처럼 보이고, 그들은 단지 신체의 요구에 주의를 기울이고 영적인 일에 적게 관심을 갖는다. 이를 통해 하나님의 말씀이 항상 단지 산발적으로만 진리로 깨달음을 받고, 하나님의 말씀이 빛으로써 단지 산발적으로만 그의 빛을 주변으로 보내는 일을 설명할 수 있다.

단지 적은 수의 사람들이 자신 안에서 스스로 하나님의 말씀의 힘을 느끼고, 이를 통해 혼이 성숙하게 될 것이다. 복음은 실제 어디에서나 전해질 것이다. 그러나 복음이 어디에서나 열린 문을 찾을 수 없게 될 것이다. 그러므로 작은 빛이 단지 개별적으로 비추고, 이 땅에 퍼져 있는 밤의 어두움을 물리칠 수 없다. 높은 곳에서 오는 빛이 밝혀진 곳이 단지 밝고 선명할 것이고, 직접 제공된 사람들에게 미치는 영향에서 타의 추종을 불허하는 말씀을 영접하는 곳이 단지 밝고 선명할 것이다. 그러므로 인류가 영적으로 건강하기 위해, 인류가 마지막 심판에 대비하기 위해 필요한 하나님의 말씀이 전파되지 못하는 일은 말씀 자체 때문이 아니고, 또한 하나님의 사자들의 활동 때문도 아니고, 사람들의 거부하려는 의지 때문이다.

수많은 길이 하늘과 땅 사이의 연결을 이룬다. 마찬가지로 이 땅으로부터 수많은 길이 모든 방향으로 열리고, 이로써 모든 곳으로 하나님의 놀라운 역사에 대한 소식이 전해진다. 그러나 항상 또 다시 이 길이 끊어 진다. 사람의 자유의지를 존중하는 동안에는, 의지가 내부적으로 반대하는 동안에는 사람들에게 하나님의 말씀을 전하는 일이 불가능하다. 그러므로 끊임없이 이 길을 열기 위해 일해야만 한다. 단지 개별적으로 사람들이 높은 곳에서 오는 계시를 영접하면, 큰 구원의 역사가 일어난 것이다. 이런 각각의 혼 때문에 하나님이 자신의 말씀을 이 땅으로 보낸다. 이로써 혼들이 종말이 오기 전에, 밤이 되어 모든 빛이 꺼지기 전에 하나님께 가는 길을 찾게 한다.

People’s deliberate rejection of the divine Word....

It is remarkable how few people allow themselves to be affected by the divine Word, how little notice they take of the fact that it is conveyed to them in an unusual way, and how often they inwardly object to it and silently or openly reject it. People are already strongly influenced by God’s adversary who clouds their power of judgment and has weakened their will, hence they neither recognise nor do they want to recognise what they are lacking and what could help them. That which is most important seems utterly unimportant to them, they only pay attention to the body’s demands and have little spiritual interests. This also explains why the divine Word is only occasionally recognised as truth and sends its rays of light in the surrounding area.... Only a few people will feel the strength of the divine Word affecting them and thereby mature psychologically. The Gospel will certainly by carried to all places, but it will not find open doors everywhere, and thus tiny lights will only glow now and then and cannot expel the darkness of night which is spread across the Earth. It will only be bright and clear where the light from above is kindled, where the directly offered Word is accepted, whose effect on people is unsurpassed. And thus it is not down to the Word itself, nor to the activity of God’s messengers, instead, the fact that the divine Word will not find the wider distribution necessary for the human race to heal spiritually and to prepare itself for the Last Judgment is entirely due to people’s deliberate rejection. Countless threads are woven between Heaven and Earth, just as many threads stretch out from the Earth itself into all directions, the news of God’s extraordinary working reaches all places and therefore could also be spread into all directions, yet time and again the threads reach a dead end and, on account of respecting free will, it is impossible to convey the divine Word to people as long as they inwardly deliberately reject it. Hence it is necessary to campaign and work incessantly, and as soon as only one person accepts the message from above a great rescue mission will have been accomplished, and God conveys His Word to earth for the sake of these individual souls, so that they will find the path to Him before the end arrives, before night sets in and extinguishes all light....
