하나님과의 연합. 포기하는 일.

나와의 완전한 연합이 세상에 속한 모든 것을 자원하여 포기할 수 있게 한다. 왜냐면 그러면 너희 혼이 이미 영의 나라에 거하고, 너희 혼은 나의 임재를 느끼고, 나의 힘을 느끼고, 나의 사랑으로 불타오르고, 비록 너희 혼이 아직 이 땅에 거할지라도 모든 세상적인 것이 아무것도 없게 되기 때문이다. 나를 향한 너희 혼의 갈망은 너무 강해 육체가 세상적인 욕망을 품고 있다면, 더 이상 육체에게 귀를 기울이지 않는다. 그러나 세상에 속한 것은 혼이 나와 연합하는 일을 방해한다. 이를 통해 너희 사람들은 너희가 피해야 할 것과 추구해야 할 것을 판단할 수 있다.

나와의 연결을 올바르게 유지하는 동안에는, 너희의 갈망이 나에게 향하고 영적인 교제로 향하는 동안에는, 너희가 내가 너희를 갈망하기를 원하는 동안에는, 너희가 나와 단둘의 대화를 유지하고 너희의 모든 위험과 염려를 나에게 맡기는 동안에는 너희는 세상에 빠질 위험에 처하지 않는다. 왜냐면 그러면 내가 너희를 소유하고, 나는 진실로 나의 소유물에 이의를 제기하는 일을 허용하지 않기 때문이다. 그러나 비록 너희가 세상의 한가운데 있고, 나 자신이 너희를 불러드릴 때까지 너희의 자리를 유지해야만 하기 때문에 세상이 너희가 줘야만 하는 공물을 요구할지라도, 세상은 더 이상 너희에게 탐욕스럽지 않게 될 것이다.

그러나 너희가 세상으로 인해 나를 잊을 위험이 있다면, 너희가 세상적인 것과 교환하기 위해 나를 포기할 준비가 되어 있다면, 조심해야 하고, 유혹자가 너희를 압도하지 않도록 깨어 기도해야 한다. 나는 항상 너희 가까이에 있다. 그러나 너희가 나를 부르지 않으면, 나는 너희 자신을 위해 나설 수 없다. 너희 혼에게 위험이 되지 않는 동안에는 나는 너희에게 어떤 것도 금하지 않는다. 그러나 너희 혼을 위해 나는 너희가 나와의 유대를 맺도록 유도하도록 때때로 너희가 가진 것을 너희에게서 빼앗아야만 한다.

그러므로 너희가 나를 완전히 소유하기 원하고, 너희가 나와 연합하려는 추구를 한다면, 너희는 주의를 기울여 세상에 속한 모든 것을 피해야 한다. 너희는 단지 적게 포기한다. 그러나 너희가 받는 것이 너희에게 천 배의 보상을 해줄 것이다. 세상을 피하라. 이로써 너희가 영의 나라를 차지하라. 영의 나라는 훨씬 더 영광스럽고 다양한 기쁨과 행복을 제공한다. 내가 너희에게 주는 것으로 만족하라. 왜냐면 내가 이 땅에서 너희에게 인색하게 주면, 내가 너희를 위해 영원 가운데 더 아름다운 삶을 마련해주기 때문이다. 왜냐면 너희가 자발적으로 세상을 포기하고, 단지 나와 연결을 이루는 일 외에는 어떤 것도 갈망하지 않는다면, 내가 세상이 너희에게 줄 수 없는 것을 너희에게 주기 때문이다.

Union with God.... renunciation....

The complete union with Me gladly and joyfully lets you renounce everything that belongs to the world. For then your soul will already be in the spiritual kingdom, it will feel My nearness, it will feel My strength and be permeated by My love, and everything earthly will sink into nothing, even if it still lives on earth. Its desire for Me is so strong that it no longer listens to the body if it still harbours worldly desires. But what belongs to the world prevents the soul from uniting with Me, and you humans can judge from this what you should avoid and what you should strive for. As long as the connection with Me is maintained, as long as your desire is for Me and spiritual contact, as long as you desire to be taught by Me, as long as you communicate with Me and entrust all your needs and worries to Me, you will not be in danger of falling prey to the world, for then I will own you and I will truly no longer allow My possession to be disputed. But the world will no longer be desirable for you, even though it demands the tribute from you, which you have to give because you stand in the midst of the world and have to maintain your place until I Myself relieve you. But if there is a danger that you will forget Me above the world, if you are willing to give Me up in exchange for something earthly, then caution is advised, then watch and pray so that the tempter will not overpower you. I am always close to you, but if you do not call Me I will not come forth for your sake either. I will not deny you anything as long as there is no danger for your soul, yet for the sake of this I must sometimes take away what you possess in order to induce you into a close bond with Me. Therefore you should be careful and flee everything that belongs to the world if you want to possess Me completely, if you strive to unite with Me. You only give up a little, but what you receive will compensate you a thousand fold. Flee the world so that you may take the spiritual kingdom in return, which is far more glorious and offers manifold joys and bliss. And be content with what I give you, for if I give you meagrely on earth I have a far more beautiful life in eternity in store for you, for I give you what the world can never offer you if you voluntarily give it up and ask for nothing more than just to be united with Me....
