그리스도의 교회. "너는 반석인 베드로이다."

그리스도가 말한 믿음의 공동체는 삶의 방식을 통해, 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 이웃사랑을 통해, 예수님이 이 땅에서 가르친 모든 말씀을 이해하고, 따라서 어떤 말씀도 의심하지 않는, 생명력이 있고 깊은 믿음을 얻은 사람들의 연합을 의미한다. 왜냐면 하나님이 믿으라고 요구한 것을 이해하는 일은 항상 단지 올바르게 인도받는 삶의 결과이고, 항상 생명력 있고, 순수한 진리를 확신 있게 믿는 믿음을 갖게 하고, 따라서 단지 믿음에 근거해서 모든 일을 성취할 수 있는 힘을 의식하게 하기 때문이다. 이런 공동체는 그리스도의 참된 교회이고, 그리스도가 다음과 같은 말씀으로 이 땅에 세운 교회이다. "너희는 반석이다. 나는 이 반석 위에 나의 교회를 세우기를 원한다."

이 교회는 계속 존재할 것이다. 이 땅에서 마지막 싸움이 믿음에 대항해 일어나면, 지하 세계의 세력이 이런 믿음을 흔들지 못할 것이다. 지옥이 모든 영적인 것을 공격하면, 이 교회에 속한 사람이 누구인지, 누가 물러나지 않는 믿음을 가지고 있는지 드러나게 될 것이다. 그러면 단지 진정으로 사랑을 행하는, 그들의 믿음이 생명력이 있는 사람들이 견딜 것이다. 왜냐면 다른 사람들은 저항하기에 너무 연약하게 되기 때문이다. 그들은 지금까지 교회에서 당연하게 여긴, 모든 의식과 모든 외적인 형식을 버릴 것이고, 교회 활동을 한 장소는 폐쇄되거나 파괴될 것이고, 그들이 중요하게 여기는 활동을 수행할 가능성이 사라지게 될 것이다. 그들은 하나님을 위해 고백할지, 하나님을 대적할지 진지하게 결정을 해야 하게 될 것이다

그러나 생명력이 있는 믿음을 가진, 믿을 수 있는 사람들은 결정하는 일이 어렵지 않을 것이다. 왜냐면 그들이 이해하기 때문이다. 반면에 아직 영의 눈이 먼 이웃 사람들은 그들이 의지할 수 있는 것이 아무 것도 없고, 그들의 육체적 안녕을 위해 하나님으로부터 멀어지고, 그들의 믿음을 버릴 것이다. 왜냐면 그들의 믿음은 단지 죽은 믿음이고, 형식적인 믿음이었기 때문이다. 그러나 그리스도의 교회에 속한 너희는 쉬지 않고 이런 교회를 알려야 하고, 사람들에게 설명을 해주고, 그들에게 차이점을 분명하게 해주려고 시도해야 한다. 이로써 그들이 그들의 형식적인 믿음을 생명력이 있는 믿음으로 바꾸게 해야 한다. 너희는 그들에게 예수님이 가르친 것을 이해하는 길을 보여주고, 그들이 사랑의 길을 가게 해야 한다. 사랑의 길이 유일하게 생명력이 있는 믿음을 갖게 하고, 예수님의 말씀을 온전히 이해하게 한다.

단지 작은 진정한 그리스도의 교회가 마지막 싸움에서 승리할 것이다. 왜냐면 이 전에 모든 영적인 교파는 공격을 받게 될 것이고, 참된 그리스도의 교회에 속하지 않은 모든 추종자들을 잃게 될 것이기 때문이다. 그러나 하나님은 참된 그리스도의 교회에 속한 사람들에게 자신의 도움을 줄 것이고, 그들 가운데 거하고, 그들의 믿음을 강하게 하고, 그들의 영을 깨어나게 하고, 종말의 때까지 견딜 힘을 그들에게 줄 것이다. 하나님은 이런 참된 그리스도 교회 때문에 자신의 영을 통해 이런 사람들 가운데 분명하게 역사하고, 그들을 가르치고, 자신의 말씀을 이 땅으로 전해준다. 이로써 그의 교회가 추종자들을 얻게 하고, 높은 곳에서 왔고, 그의 권능으로 축복을 받은 그의 말씀을 통해 그들을 특별이 강하게 한다.

Church of Christ.... "You are Peter, the rock...."

A community of faith in the sense of Christ means the union of people who, through their way of life, through unselfish neighbourly love, have acquired such a living, profound faith that they understand everything Jesus taught on earth and therefore do not doubt a word, for the understanding of what God demands to be believed is always only the result of a correctly led way of life and will also always result in a living faith, the conviction of pure truth and therefore also of a consciousness of strength to be able to accomplish everything, which only has faith as its foundation. Such a community is the true church of Christ, it is the church which He founded on earth with the words: "You are Peter, the rock, on you I will build My church." And this church will remain in existence, it will not be able to be shaken by the forces of the underworld when the last battle on earth will break out against faith. Then it will become apparent who belongs to this church, who possesses the strength of faith that he will not fall away when hell will storm against everything spiritual. Then only the truly loving people whose faith is a living one will stand firm, for the others will be too weak to resist. They will be deprived of everything they have understood about the church until now, every ceremony, every outward appearance will fall away, the places of ecclesiastical activity will be closed or destroyed, there will be no possibility to carry out the actions which seem important to them and they will seriously be confronted with the decision to confess for or against God. But the decision will not be difficult for those who have living faith, who can believe because they understand, while the others, still blind in spirit, have nothing to hold on to and fall away from God for the sake of their physical well-being, who surrender their faith because it was only a dead faith, a formal faith. But you, who belong to Christ's church, should constantly promote this church, you should enlighten people and try to make the difference clear to them so that they will shape their formal faith into a living faith, you should show them the path to understanding what Jesus taught and encourage them to walk the path of love, which alone gives birth to a living faith and leads to full understanding of His word. Only this small congregation of the true church of Christ will survive the final battle, because every school of thought will be declared war beforehand and all its followers will lose who do not belong to the true church of Christ. But God will grant them His support, He will be in their midst, strengthen their faith, enlighten their spirit and give them strength to persevere until the end. And for the sake of this church of Christ He obviously works amongst people through His spirit.... He instructs them and conveys His word to earth so that His church will gain followers, so that they will be exceptionally strengthened by His word, which comes from above and is blessed with His strength....
