어두움 가운데 하나님의 나라를 위해 일하라는 부름.

하나님의 나라를 위해 일하는 일은 비교할 수 없이 아름다운 일이다. 이 과제를 수행하기에 합당한 사람은 이 과제를 위해 모든 힘을 다해야 하고, 그가 하나님의 음성에 의해 부름 받은 것으로 느낀다면, 이 땅의 어떤 속박이 그를 막아서는 안 된다. 그는 그의 심장 안에서 분명하게 부름을 듣게 될 것이고, 그러면 그는 지체하지 말아야 하고, 자신을 선생님이신 주 하나님께 드려야만 한다. 그는 순종하는 자녀로서 아버지의 부름을 따라야만 하고, 저항을 하거나 또는 단지 마지 못해 순종해서는 안되고, 기쁜 심장으로 그는 자신이 스스로 하나님께 드려, 맡게 된 일을 해야 한다.

그는 자신의 과제를 완수할 수 있도록, 그가 가르치는 일을 하도록, 즉 영적인 위험 가운데 있고, 긴급하게 도움이 필요한 이웃 사람들에게 축복이 되게 하나님을 위해 섬길 수 있도록, 그에게 제공된 풍부한 재물을 소유하고 있다. 하나님 자신이 그를 학교로 받아드렸고, 그를 가르쳤고, 가르치는 직분을 위해 양육했다. 그가 이제 이런 보물을 어떻게 활용할지는 그에게 달려 있다. 그러나 그는 그가 받아, 무지한 사람들에게 전해야 할 귀중한 선물에 대해 책임을 져야만 한다.

너희가 일할 때가 왔을 때, 하나님은 너희가 그 일을 하도록 너희를 부른다. 사람의 목소리가 귀에 닿지 않는 밤에 부름이 이뤄진다. 그러므로 하나님의 음성은 선명하고 분명하게 들릴 수 있다. 주님은 자신의 종에게 지시하고, 여종은 그들의 사명을 받게 될 것이다. 하나님을 섬기기 원하는 모든 사람은 영접을 받고, 그의 능력에 따라 그에게 일이 부여될 것이다. 그러면 아무도 주저하거나 그가 무엇을 해야 할지 결단하지 못해서는 안 되고, 하나님이 요구하는 일은 수행해야 한다. 왜냐면 하나님은 모든 이 땅의 일을 대신 행하게 하는 법을 알기 때문이다. 그러나 영적인 일은 모든 사람이 할 수 있는 일이 아니고, 영적인 훈련이 된 사람들이 할 수 있는 일이다. 그러므로 그들은 하나님으로부터 받은 지식을 활용할 의무가 있다.

그러나 종들은 하나님이 이 땅의 영적인 과제를 따라 그들의 삶의 길을 정했다는 사실을 알아야 하고, 그러므로 그들이 단지 다른 모든 일보다 영적인 일을 우선으로 하려는 의지를 가지고 있다면, 주님의 포도원의 일을 성공적으로 수행할 수 있다는 것을 알아야 한다. 그러면 하나님도 균형을 이루도록 돌보고, 이 땅의 모든 염려를 넘겨 받을 것이고, 영적인 과제도 수행하는 일이 가능하게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 영의 나라의 선한 세력들도 모든 면에서 이 땅의 종과 함께 일하고, 영적으로, 세상적으로 그를 도울 것이고, 힘으로 그를 지원할 것이기 때문이다. 그는 영적으로 또한 세상적으로 그의 과제를 완수할 수 있게 될 것이고, 그가 자신을 창조주 하나님께 맡기고 그의 축복을 구한다면, 그는 모든 방식으로 섬길 수 있게 될 것이다.

Call to activity for the kingdom of God in the night....

It is an incomparably beautiful task to work for the Kingdom of God. Anyone who is deemed worthy of this task should devote all his strength to it, and no earthly bond should hold him back when he feels called by the voice of God. And he will clearly hear the call in his heart, but then he must not delay but place himself to the divine Lord and Master's service, he must follow the father's call as an obedient child, he must not resist or only reluctantly comply but with a joyful heart he should carry out the work for which he has placed himself to God's service. He possesses a rich treasure which was imparted to him so that he can fulfil his task, so that he can be active as a teacher, thus perform his service for God for the blessing of fellow human beings who are in spiritual hardship and urgently need help. God Himself has taken him into His school, He has instructed and trained him to be a teacher, and now it is up to him how he utilises this treasure, yet he has to account for the precious gift he received and should have passed on to people who are ignorant.... And to this activity God calls you, when the time of activity has come for you. The call will be made in the night where no human voice touches the ear and therefore the voice of God can be heard clearly and distinctly. And the Lord will instruct His servant, the maid will receive her assignment, everyone who wants to serve God will be accepted and the work will be assigned to him according to his ability, and then no-one may hesitate or be undecided what he should do.... what God requires shall be carried out, for God will know how to find a replacement for every earthly activity. Spiritual work, however, cannot be carried out by just anyone but requires spiritually educated people who therefore also have the duty to use the knowledge they received from God otherwise they one day would have to answer to God. But the servants should know that God has marked out their path of life in accordance with their spiritual task on earth, that therefore the work in the vineyard of the Lord can also be carried out with the best success if only the person has the will to put the spiritual work before all other work, then God will also take care of the compensation, He will take over all earthly worry. And the spiritual task will also be feasible, for the good forces from the spiritual kingdom will also cooperate and assist the servant on earth in every way, they will give him in a spiritual and earthly way, they will support him with strength, and he will be able to fulfil his task in a spiritual as well as earthly manner, he will be able to serve in every way as soon as he merely entrusts himself to his divine creator and asks Him for His blessing....
