하늘의 양식은 혼의 양식. “먼저 하나님의 나라를 구하라."

너희 인간은 영적인 양식을 무시해서는 안 된다. 왜냐면 너희 혼에게 영양을 공급하기 위해, 하늘의 양식이 너희에게 공급되는 일이 이 땅의 삶에서 가장 중요한 일이기 때문이다. 육신은 양식 없이는 존재할 수 없다. 마찬가지로 혼에게도 양식이 필요하다. 그러나 혼의 양식이 더 긴급하게 필요하다. 왜냐면 혼의 양식은 쇠하지 않는 양식이고, 영적인 양식이 부족함으로 인해 소멸되는 것보다 훨씬 더 심한 고통스러운 상태를 초래하기 때문이다. 육체를 유지하기 위한 모든 입자들은 이 땅의 음식을 통해 공급이 된다. 그럴지라도 육체를 보존하는 단 한가지의 목적은 혼에게 거처를 제공하여, 혼이 자신의 이 땅의 과제를 완수할 수 있게 하기 위한 것이다.

그러나 이런 목적을 이루기 위해 혼에게 힘을 주는 음식을 혼에게 제공해야만 한다. 이 양식은 하늘의 양식이고, 하나님의 사랑이 혼에게 혼이 이 땅의 골짜기를 거치는 과정 동한 먹을 수 있도록 제공하는 하나님의 말씀이다. 이런 양식을 갈망하는 혼은 굶주리거나 목이 마르게 될 필요가 없다. 수많은 하나님을 섬기는 존재들이 하늘의 양식인 하나님의 선물을 이 땅의 사람들에게 제공한다. 그들은 이 땅의 순례자들의 길의 도처에 서서, 배고프고 목마른 사람들에게 하늘의 양식을 제공한다. 이로써 이 땅의 순례자들이 하늘의 양식을 통해 자신을 쾌활하게 하고, 힘을 얻어 그들의 길을 계속 갈 수 있게 한다.

하늘의 양식은 하나님의 말씀이다. 하나님의 말씀은 하나님이 너희 인간을 위해 마련한 가장 귀한 은혜의 선물이고, 너희가 큰 위험에 처하게 되면, 너희는 하나님의 말씀의 능력을 알게 될 것이다. 신선한 음료가 너희를 상쾌하게 하듯이, 하나님의 말씀이 항상 너희를 쾌활하게 하고 강하게 해줄 것이다. 왜냐면 예수가 사람에게 제공하는 물을 마시는 사람이 더 이상 영원히 목마르지 않게 되는 일이 예수의 약속이기 때문이다. 그의 말은 진리이다. 하나님 자신이 생수의 원천이다. 하나님 자신은 생명의 양식이고, 너희 사람들의 혼에게 양분을 제공한다. 이로써 너희가 양분을 받고 너희를 강하게 한다. 그러므로 먼저 영적 양식을 갈망해야만 한다.

그러면 동시에 이 땅의 양식이 너희에게 제공이 된다. 왜냐하면 하나님은 먼저 자신의 혼을 생각하는 사람들이 육체적으로 고통을 받지 않게 하기 때문이다. 하나님은 또한 다음과 같은 말씀으로 약속했다. “너희는 먼저 하나님의 나라와 하나님의 의를 구하라. 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라." 너희는 더 이상 너희의 신체적 안녕에 대해 걱정할 필요가 없다. 너희는 또한 이 땅에서 양식을 받는 일이 가능해 보이지 않는다면, 어떤 형태로 양식이 너희에게 제공될지에 대해 염려할 필요가 없다. 하나님의 말씀은 진리이다. 너희가 하나님의 말씀을 믿으면, 하나님의 약속이 이뤄진다. 너희가 하나님과 연결을 이루고, 하나님의 선물을 받기를 원한다면, 하나님은 영적으로나 육체적으로 항상 너희에게 공급할 것이다. 그러나 너희는 먼저 영의 양식을 갈망해야만 한다. 왜냐하면 너희의 혼이 너희 혼의 높은 곳을 향하는 길에서 영의 양식이 필요하기 때문이고, 하나님이 너희의 혼을 위해 너희에게 이 땅의 음식을 필요로 하는 이 땅의 삶을 주었기 때문이다.

그러므로 너희가 혼을 위해 몸을 보존하려고 노력한다면, 하나님은 진정으로 몸을 유지하는 데 필요한 것을 주실 것이다. 하나님의 말씀인 영적 양식이 또한 몸을 유지하게 할 수 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 하나님의 말씀을 통해 사람에게 직접 흐르는 것이 하나님의 힘이고, 이 힘이 모든 것을 유지하기 때문이다. 그들이 이 땅의 음식을 얻지 못하게 되면, 이 힘이 또한 몸도 유지하기 때문이다. 왜냐면 하나님의 힘에서 나온 모든 창조물을 유지하는 것이 하나님의 힘이기 때문이다. 그러므로 사람이 하나님의 직접적인 힘의 비추임을 받으면, 그는 다른 양식이 필요하지 않고, 하나님의 뜻이라면, 존재할 수 있다.

다가오는 때에, 굳고 흔들리지 않게 믿고, 하나님의 계명을 지키는 사람들에게 흘러가는 하나님의 말씀의 힘이 특별하게 나타나는 일이 하나님의 뜻이 될 것이다. 왜냐면 사람이 먼저 자신의 혼을 생각하기를 원하고, 혼을 위해 하늘의 양식을 갈망한다면, 그가 영적으로나 육체적으로 배부르게 될 것이기 때문이다. 왜냐하면 하나님의 사랑은 불변하고, 하나님의 말씀이 진리이기 때문이다. “너희가 무엇을 먹고 무엇을 마실까 걱정하지 말고, 먼저 하나님의 나라를 구하라. 다른 모든 것이 너희에게 주어질 것이다."

Bread of heaven food for the soul.... "Seek ye first the kingdom of God...."

You humans should not disregard spiritual nourishment, for it is the most important thing in earthly life that the bread of heaven be given to you for the nourishment of your souls. The physical body cannot exist without food, likewise also the soul, but it needs food even more urgently because it is immortal and the lack of spiritual food results in an unimaginably agonizing state, which is far worse than the passing away. Every building substance for the preservation of the body is supplied to it through earthly food, and yet the preservation of it only has the one purpose to grant the soul a stay so that it can fulfil its earthly task. But in order to be able to fulfil this, the soul must be supplied with food, which gives it power, and this food is the bread of heaven, the word of God, which the love of God offers it as food on its way through the earth valley. And no soul will need to hunger and thirst that desires such. Myriads of God-serving beings hand out the divine gift, the bread of heaven, to people on earth. They stand everywhere along the path of the earth traveller and offer it to the hungry and thirsty so that they can feast on it and continue on their way strengthened. And the bread of heaven is the word of God.... it is the most delicious gift of grace that God has in store for you humans, and you will receive its strength when you are in great need. Just as a fresh drink refreshes you, so the divine word will always refresh and strengthen you, for this is Jesus' promise that whoever drinks of the water He offers people will thirst no more for eternity.... And His word is truth.... God Himself is the fountain from which the living water springs.... God Himself is the bread of life which He offers to you humans for the nourishment of the soul so that you may receive it and strengthen yourselves.... And therefore the spiritual food is to be desired first. Earthly food will then be given to you at the same time, for God will not let those who are physically destitute think of their soul first, which He also promised with the words: "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all other things shall be added unto you...." You never need to worry about your physical well-being, nor do you need to worry about the form in which food will come to you if this does not seem possible on earth.... God's word is truth and if you believe in it, His promise will be fulfilled. He will always provide for you, spiritually and physically, as soon as you unite with Him and want to receive His gifts. Yet you must desire the spiritual food first, for your soul needs it on its path upwards, and for the sake of your soul God has given you earthly life, which also requires earthly nourishment. Thus God will truly give you what you need to maintain the body if you endeavour to maintain the body for the sake of your soul. And the spiritual food, the word of God, will also be able to sustain the body, for this is strength from God which flows directly to the human being through His word, and this strength sustains everything, it also sustains the body as soon as earthly nourishment is withdrawn from it. For it is the power of God that sustains every work of creation that has emerged from this power. Hence, if the human being receives God's direct emanation of strength he will not need any other nourishment and yet will be able to survive if this is God's will. And it will be God's will in the time to come that the power of the divine word will be revealed through extraordinary manifestations, which will flow to those who firmly and steadfastly believe and keep God's commandments. For if a person is willing to consider his soul first and desires the bread of heaven for it, he will be satisfied both spiritually and physically, for God's love is unchanging and His word is truth: "Do not worry about what you will eat and drink, but seek first the kingdom of God, and everything else will be added to you...."
