영의 양식. 하나님의 은혜.

영의 양식을 향한 사람의 갈망이 깨어날 때, 하나님의 은혜의 유입을 분명하게 깨달을 수 있다. 그러면 사람의 생각이 선한 영의 존재의 영향을 받으면서, 하나님의 뜻을 행하고, 사람의 혼을 돕기 원하는 선한 영의 세력에 의해 사람의 생각이 특별하게 영향을 받으면서, 하나님의 사랑이 역사한다.

사람이 의식적으로 반대하지 않으면, 이런 역사는 성공하고, 혼은 저세상의 친구들이 혼에게 알려주기 원하는 나라로 기꺼이 따라간다. 이런 생각을 통해 영향을 미치는 일은 신뢰하는 가운데 하나님의 도움을 얻기 위해 기도로 도움을 청하는 사람에게 하나님이 주시는 은혜이다.

하나님을 향한 모든 질문하는 생각은 이미 응답을 받는 무의식적인 기도이다. 그러나 의식적인 기도가 또한 사람이 하나님의 은혜를 얻게 한다. 다시 말해 사람이 영적인 위험 가운데 도움을 받게 한다. 영의 양식을 향한 갈망이 이제 사람 안에서 깨어났다면, 비록 진리에 굶주린 혼은 또한 항상 배가 부르게 될 것이지만, 그일은 항상 그 안에 영의 양식을 향한 갈망이 남아있게 될 것이다. “구하라, 그러면 너희에게 주실 것이요."

하나님은 사람들이 기도로 자신을 부르기를 원하고, 그들의 요청이 성취될 것임을 보장한다. 그러나 사람이 영적인 재물을 원하고, 영적인 재물을 구하는 기도를 하면, 그는 절대로 인색하게 받게 되지 않을 것이지만, 그럼에도 불구하고 그의 갈망은 만족하지 못하게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 하나님의 은혜가 영의 양식을 계속해서 원하게 하기 때문이다. 그러므로 그는 또한 끊임없이 받게 될 것이다.

그러나 영의 양식은 진리에 대한 지식이다. 사람이 진리로 가르침을 받는 일은 하나님의 가장 큰 은혜이다. 왜냐하면 하나님은 사람에게 가장 귀한 선물을 주었기 때문이다. 하나님은 자기 자신을 제공한다. 왜냐면 하나님이 영원한 진리이기 때문이다. 사람이 진리를 갈망하자마자, 그는 또한 하나님과 연합하기를 갈망한다. 그러므로 하나님도 그를 향해 다가간다. 왜냐하면 하나님은 자신을 향한 갈망을 성취시키지 않은 채로 두지 않기 때문이다.

하나님을 갈망하는 사람은 더 이상 잘못된 요청을 하지 않게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 하나님을 향한 의지가 인간이 하나님의 가장 깊은 사랑을 얻게 하고, 하나님의 사랑이 주기 때문이다. 하나님의 사랑이 사람에게 없는 모든 것을 준다. 빛과 힘을 준다. 빛과 힘이 말씀 안에서, 하나님의 사랑의 선물을 갈망하는 사람들에게 흘러간다. 왜냐면 이런 사람들은 말씀을 감사함으로 받아들이고, 또한 전달하기 때문이다. 그들은 하나님의 은혜 안에 있고, 하나님의 사랑에 의해 붙잡힘을 받는다. 왜냐면 그들이 하나님을 찾았기 때문이다.

Spiritual nourishment.... grace of God....

The influx of divine grace is clearly recognizable when the human being's desire for spiritual nourishment awakens. Then God's love comes into action by the human being's thoughts being extraordinarily influenced by good spiritual beings who thereby carry out God's will and want to help the human being's soul. As long as the human being does not consciously oppose it, this influence is successful and the soul willingly follows into the kingdom which the friends in the beyond want to open up for it. This process of mental influence is a favour which God bestows upon the person who trustingly turns to Him in prayer for His help. And every questioning thought to God is an unconscious prayer which already finds an answer. Conscious prayer, however, also earns a person divine grace, i.e. help in spiritual adversity. Once the desire for spiritual food has awakened in a person, it will always remain in him, even though a soul hungry for truth will always be satisfied. "Ask and it will be given to you...." God wants people to call upon Him in prayer and He assures them that their request will be granted. However, as soon as a person desires spiritual possessions and sends his prayer for such upwards, he will never be short-changed and yet his desire for them will never be satisfied, for God's grace makes him constantly desire spiritual nourishment. And thus he will also be constantly provided for. Spiritual nourishment, however, is knowledge of the truth. The fact that the human being is instructed in the truth is God's greatest grace, for God offers the human being a precious gift.... He offers Himself, for God is the eternal truth.... And as soon as the human being desires the truth, he also desires to be united with God, and thus God also accommodates him, for He leaves no desire unfulfilled which applies to Him. Whoever desires Him will no longer make a wrong request, for the will for God also earns the human being His deepest love, and God's love gives.... It gives everything that man lacks.... light and strength.... And both flow to people in the word, which conveys His love and grace to those who hunger and thirst for the divine gift of love, for they will gratefully receive it and also pass it on.... they are in the grace of God, they are seized by His love because they have found God....
