하나님의 말씀. 형태. 선행조건.

하나님의 말씀은 받도록 제공받은 모든 사람이 이해할 수 있는 형태이고, 단순하고 꾸밈없는 말로 하나님의 뜻을 선포한다. 이로써 하나님의 말씀을 이해하기 어렵지 않고, 심장과 생각으로 영접할 수 있다. 그러므로 하나님의 말씀을 듣는 사람은, 다시 말해 자발적으로 말씀의 역사에 자신을 맡기는 사람의 심장은 말씀에 영향을 받지 못하게 되지 않을 것이다. 그가 이제 말씀에 순종한다면, 그는 하나님의 말씀이 주는 축복을 눈에 띄게 느낄 것이다. 왜냐하면 말씀에 순종하는 일이 유일하게 성공을 보장하고, 하나님의 볼 수 있는 힘을 보장하기 때문이다.

그러나 하나님의 말씀이 그들에게 단지 순전히 외적으로 영향을 미치게 하는 사람들에게, 비록 하나님의 말씀을 듣지만, 감명받지 못하는 사람들에게 하나님의 말씀은 이해할 수 없게 머문다. 왜냐하면 하나님의 말씀을 받아들이도록 자극해주는 내적인 갈망이 그들에게 없고, 하나님의 말씀을 긴밀하게 듣는 일을 통해 이뤄지는 하나님과의 연결을 이루려는 내적인 갈망이 그들에게 없기 때문이다. 또한 하나님의 말씀이 그들에게 이해할 수 없는 방식으로 주어진 것처럼 보일 수 있다. 하나님의 말씀을 받아 하나님과 연결되기 원하는 갈망이 사람 안에서 생명력이 있게 되지 않는 동안에는 하나님의 말씀이 항상 선명하지 못하고, 이해하기 쉽지 않을 것이다. 그러므로 하나님의 뜻에 복종하기 위해 먼저 이런 갈망이 필요하다. 그러면 그는 하나님의 말씀의 의미를 항상 이해할 수 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 하나님이 사람에게 유용하도록 주기 때문이다.

하나님의 말씀은 주어진 형태로 시간이 지나도 그대로 보존이 되어야 한다. 하나님의 말씀은 항상 같은 방식으로 역사해야 하고, 항상 사람들이 이해할 수 있어야 한다. 따라서 말씀은 항상 언제든지 똑같은 요구를 하는 구성을 가져야만 한다. 그러므로 말씀은 어느 시대에나 나타나는 모든 언어의 변화를 겪을지라도 존속돼야만 한다. 다시 말해 하나님의 말씀을 갈망하는 사람이 언제든지 이해할 수 있어야만 한다. 하나님의 은혜의 선물은 하나님 말씀의 가장 깊은 의미를 파악하기 위해, 말씀을 향한 의지를 가져야만 하는 방식으로 사람들에게 항상 제공이 될 것이다. 그러나 반면에 진리를 갈망하는 사람들에게는 가장 깊은 문제를 쉽게 해결할 수 있게 하나님의 은혜의 선물이 제공이 될 것이다.

하나님은 말씀과 함께 하나님의 선물을 갈망하는 사람에게 그가 느낄 수 있는 힘을 동시에 준다. 이 힘은 가장 지혜로운 가르침을 이해할 수 있게 해준다. 이로써 사람이 세상지식을 가졌건 갖지 못했건 모든 사람이 하나님의 지식을 얻을 수 있다. 심령이 가난한 사람들에게 복이 있다. 그들의 심장은 더 쉽게 이해하고, 하나님을 증거하는 가르침에 반대하지 않는다. 그들은 지혜롭게 되기를 원하는 사람들이 이런 가르침이 얼마나 진리에 합당한지 의심하고, 고민하는 곳에서 믿음을 감사하게 받아드린다.

하나님은 믿음을 요구하고, 자신의 말씀을 영접하기를 원한다. 왜냐하면 그가 사람들에게 좋은 선물을 제공하기 때문이다. 그 자신이 말씀 안에 거한다. 그러므로 그는 이해하기를 원하는 사람이 이해할 수 있게 말씀을 제공할 것이다. 말씀을 원하는 사람은 말씀을 받을 것이다. 말씀을 소유한 사람은 항상 영원히 하나님 가까이에 있다. 왜냐하면 하나님의 말씀이 하나님 자신이기 때문이다. 하나님이 자녀들에게 자신의 말씀을 전할 때, 자녀들의 이 땅의 삶의 길에서 자녀들을 쾌활하게 하고, 강하게 하기 위해 그들에게 내려간다.

The word of God.... form.... prerequisite....

The word of God is comprehensible in its form to all those who are offered to receive it. It proclaims the will of God in simple, plain words and is therefore shaped in such a way that it can be received by both the heart and the mind without being incomprehensible. Whoever therefore hears the word of God, that is, voluntarily surrenders to its effect, his heart will not remain untouched by it, and it will noticeably feel the blessing that emanates from the divine word if it is now also obeyed, for in the latter alone lies the guarantee of success, of the perceptible power from God. However, the divine word remains incomprehensible to those who only allow it to have a purely external effect on them, who hear it but remain unimpressed because they are not prompted by an inner desire to receive it and they have no interest in the connection with God which is established through the heartfelt hearing of the word. It may also seem to them that the divine word is given in an incomprehensible way. It will never be clear and easy to understand until the desire to enter into contact with God by receiving His word comes alive in a person. This desire is therefore first necessary in order to be presented with the divine will. Then the meaning of God's word will also be understandable to him at all times. For God gives in a way that is useful to people, since His purpose in imparting it is to further the soul. And the word of God in its form should outlast time, it should always work in the same way and always remain comprehensible to people. It must therefore correspond in its structure to the demands that are placed on it at all times. It must therefore outlast all linguistic transformations that each time brings with it and thus be able to be understood at all times by those who desire the divine word. God's gift of grace is always offered to people in such a way that the will for it is a prerequisite in order to grasp the deepest meaning of God's word, just as, conversely, the deepest problems can be easily solved by people who hunger for the truth. With His word God simultaneously gives the strength which will be felt by the person whose heart longs for the gift of God. And this strength expresses itself in the understanding of the wisest teaching, so that every human being can penetrate divine knowledge, whether he has earthly knowledge or not. Blessed are the poor in spirit.... their heart is easier to grasp, and it puts up no resistance to the teachings which bear witness to God. They gratefully accept faith where the one who wants to be wise doubts and ponders how far the teachings correspond to the truth. And God demands faith.... He wants His word to be received, for He offers people a good gift, He Himself is present in the word and thus He will also offer it in such a way that anyone who wants to understand can understand it. Whoever desires it will receive it, and whoever possesses it is close to God, always and forever, for He Himself is His word.... And when He imparts His word to His children, He Himself descends to them in order to refresh and strengthen them on their earthly path of life....
