Lo spirito ed il corpo cercano di conquistare l’anima

Lo spirito ed il corpo hanno in comune una cosa, che vogliono possedere l’anima, che cercano di formarla, ma in modo differente. Il corpo cerca di formare l’anima secondo il mondo, perché a lui stesso il mondo sembra l’unica cosa desiderabile e quindi cerca di trasferire il suo desiderio sull’anima. Lo spirito invece ha un’altra meta desiderabile; vuole possedere il Regno spirituale e cerca di formare l’anima rispetto a questo Regno; cerca quindi di formarla in altro modo, secondo la Volontà divina. Quindi la Volontà divina è contraria al desiderio del corpo. Il corpo aspira alla materia, lo spirito invece è totalmente rimosso dalla materia. Il suo volere e tendere è rivolto solo all’adeguamento all’eterna Divinità, conosce solo un desiderio, l’unificazione con Dio e l’eterna condizione nella Luce. Quindi cerca di determinare anche l’anima ad unirsi al suo desiderio, cerca di indurla alla stessa volontà, attira in certo qual modo l’anima a sé e quindi la stacca dal mondo, che significa per il corpo una rinuncia ai suoi desideri, quindi vincere la materia, il mondo, che è il contrario al mondo spirituale. Se allo spirito riesce di conquistare l’anima per il Regno spirituale, allora l’anima ha superata la prova della sua vita terrena, perché questo significa un rivolgere la volontà a Dio ed un distoglierla da colui che è il signore del mondo. Il corpo appartiene ben ancora a questo mondo, ma se si unisce al desiderio dell’anima, quindi cede volontariamente, se questa si vuole unire con lo spirito, anche le sostanze spirituali di cui è costituito il corpo, sono mature per la successiva formazione e percorrono il cammino dello sviluppo nella forma significativamente più veloce, perché hanno rinunciato alla loro resistenza. Lo spirito nell’uomo ha vinto il corpo e questo si è dichiarato vinto. Il corpo ha lasciato l’anima allo spirito, quindi lo spirito ha totalmente preso possesso dell’anima, questa si è unita con lo spirito. Ed ora tutto il pensare, sentire e volere viene determinato solo dallo spirito e di conseguenza dev’essere giusto, perché lo spirito è Parte di Dio e determinerà sempre l’anima di fare e di pensare ciò che corrisponde alla Volontà di Dio. E questa è la condizione, a cui l’anima deve aspirare, andare incontro all’unione con lo Spirito di Dio e di aspirare all’unificazione con Lui, per cercare e trovare l’eterna Beatitudine nella contemplazione di Dio.

Mind and body seek to win the soul....

Spirit and body have one thing in common, that they want to possess the soul, that they seek to mould it, but in different ways. The body tries to mould the soul according to the world because the world itself seems to be the only thing worth striving for and therefore it tries to transfer its desire to the soul. The spirit, on the other hand, has a different desirable goal; it wants to occupy the spiritual realm and seeks to mould the soul according to this realm; it therefore seeks to shape it in a different way.... according to the divine will. Thus the divine will is opposed to the desire of the body.... The body strives for matter, whereas the spirit is completely removed from matter.... Its will and endeavours are only aimed at aligning itself with the eternal divinity, it only knows one desire, the union with God and the eternally light-filled state. Thus it also tries to determine the soul to join its desire, it tries to induce it to the same will, it draws the soul to itself, so to speak, and thus detaches it from the world, which for the body means giving up its desires, thus overcoming matter, the world, which is the opposite of the spiritual world. If the spirit succeeds in winning the soul for the spiritual kingdom, then the soul has passed its test of earthly life, for this means a turning of the will towards God and a turning away from the one who is lord of the world. The body still belongs to this world but if it joins the desire of the soul, thus willingly yields, if it wants to unite with the spirit, the spiritual substances, of which the body consists, are also ripe for the next moulding, and they cover the course of development in form considerably faster because they have given up their resistance. The spirit in man has overcome the body, and the body has declared itself defeated.... The body has left the soul to the spirit, thus the spirit has taken complete possession of the soul, the soul has united with the spirit. And now all thinking, feeling and willing is only determined by the spirit, and it must therefore be right, for the spirit is part of God and it will always determine the soul to do and think that which corresponds to God's will. And this is the state the soul should strive for.... in union with the spirit towards God and strive for union with Him in order to seek and find eternal bliss in the contemplation of God....
