La vera sapienza di vita - Accettare la Parola divina

Questa è la vera sapienza di vita, accogliere in sé la Parola di Dio, perché nulla può procurare quel successo che sorge dalla Sapienza divina. La vita terrena dura solo poco tempo e questo tempo viene quasi sempre impiegato per l’esaudimento di compiti terreni e per aumentare il bene terreno. E l’uomo si crede saggio, quando può registrare in questo grandi successi, ma trascura totalmente di aver cura del suo bene spirituale ed alla fine della sia vita si vede di fronte ad un ammanco che gli fa riconoscere la sua vita terrena mancata. Saggio è chi pensa dapprima alla sua anima, chi raccoglie ricchezza spirituale e lascia inosservati i vantaggi terreni. Saggio è chi lascia agire su di sé la Parola divina, cioè chi adempie ciò che viene preteso da lui attraverso la Parola divina, per costui aumenta costantemente il suo patrimonio spirituale; provvede alla sua anima e quindi adempie il più importante compito terreno. Aiuta la sua anima alla maturità e le conquista la Vita eterna, cioè uno stato gioioso nell’Eternità che può essere chiamato incomparabilmente magnifico. Certo, le ricchezze spirituali non vengono molto valutate in modo terreno, per l’uomo non sono afferrabili e perciò non vi aspira e poi l’uomo sta povero e nudo alla Porta per l’Eternità di fronte a coloro che non hanno valutato troppo alta la vita terrena ed erano poveri in beni terreni, ma ora vanno incontro ad una luminosa Eternità. La Parola divina era stata la loro costante accompagnatrice, la Parola divina ha loro sostituito migliaia di volte ciò che a loro mancava nel bene terreno; la Parola divina ha insegnato loro l’amore e quando l’hanno eseguita, ha procurato loro anche l’amore e quindi la Parola divina ha portato loro più vicino a Dio Stesso e di conseguenza aspiravano solo al Regno di Dio. L’anima desiderava la vera Patria, perché ha riconosciuto la vita terrena soltanto come stazione di passaggio che doveva procurarle la maturità spirituale. E così è infinitamente più saggio colui che lascia parlare a sé Dio attraverso la Parola, che Lo ascolta e segue la Sua Parola, che disprezza il bene terreno e tende solo al bene spirituale, che tende al sapere spirituale e non attribuisce molto valore al sapere mondano, perché forma la sua anima sulla Terra ed adempie quindi il vero scopo della vita terrena, nutre la sua anima e le dà il Cibo spirituale attraverso la Parola divina.

True wisdom of life - receiving the divine word....

It is true wisdom to absorb God's word, for nothing else can bring him the success that comes from divine wisdom. Life on earth only lasts a short time and this time is mostly used for the fulfilment of earthly tasks and the increase of earthly good. And the human being believes himself to be wise if he can achieve great success in this. And he completely neglects to take care of his spiritual well-being, and at the end of his life he is faced with a shortcoming which lets him recognize his failed earthly life. Wise is he who thinks of his soul first, who gathers spiritual wealth and disregards earthly advantages.... Wise is he who allows the divine word to have an effect on him, i.e. he who fulfils what is demanded of him by the divine word, for he constantly increases his spiritual wealth; he considers his soul and thus fulfils the most important earthly task.... He helps his soul to mature and acquires eternal life for it, i.e. a joyful state in eternity which can be called incomparably marvellous. Spiritual riches are not valued very highly on earth, they are not tangible to the human being and are therefore not striven for, and at the gate of eternity the human being then stands poor and merely opposite those who have not valued earthly life too highly and were poor in earthly goods but are now approaching an eternity full of light. The divine word was their constant companion, the divine word replaced a thousandfold what they lacked in earthly possessions; the divine word taught them love and, if they obeyed it, also brought them love, and thus the divine word brought them closer to God Himself and consequently they only aspired to the kingdom of God. The soul longed for its true home, for it only recognized earthly life as a transitional stage which was intended to bring it spiritual maturity. And thus he is infinitely wiser who allows God to speak to him through the word, who listens to Him and obeys His word, who despises earthly possessions and only strives for spiritual possessions, who strives for spiritual knowledge and does not attach great value to worldly knowledge, for he shapes his soul on earth and thus fulfils the actual purpose of earthly life.... he feeds his soul and gives it spiritual nourishment through the divine word....
