La Fonte della Sapienza - La Fonte di Grazia - Il sorso di ristoro

Alla divina Fonte di Grazia si potrà ristorare ognuno che ha fame e sete del Nutrimento spirituale. Appena ne ha il desiderio, gli si apre la Fonte della Sapienza e fortifica il suo spirito. E questa ha per conseguenza che deve maturare nella sua anima, perché quando le viene dato il Nutrimento spirituale, si forma sempre di più secondo la Volontà divina, cioè si unisce con lo spirito in sé e questo forma l’anima secondo l’Immagine di Dio. Viene compenetrata dalla Luce finché non è diventata totalmente un essere di Luce. L’Amore di Dio è sempre pronto a donare Grazia. Richiedere questa Grazia è pure la disponibilità dell’uomo, perché la Grazia non può essere trasmessa a colui che non la vuole ricevere, ma l’uomo non può nemmeno essere determinato per costrizione a ricevere la Grazia. Ma quanto spesso manca la disponibilità, quanto spesso passa oltre alla Fonte di Grazia che l’Amore divino gli ha aperta affinché ne attinga la Forza. Ed anche se dalla Fonte fluisce l’Acqua viva, per il viandante terreno assetato il delizioso sorso significa ristoro, ma l’uomo desidera cibo e bevanda e lascia inosservata la Fonte. E perciò la miseria nel mondo è immensamente grande, perciò gli uomini vengono visitati da sofferenza ed afflizione, affinché si stanchino e quando minacciano di morire di fame si rifugino in questa divina Fonte di Grazia che è l’unica a donare loro ristoro e fortificazione. Ogni viandante ha bisogno di fortificazione, perché la via verso l’Alto è lunga e difficile. Ogni viandante ha anche accesso a questa Fonte, ma quanti vi passano oltre perché il sorso di ristoro non sembra loro desiderabile, perché vorrebbero sguazzare in godimenti mondani e non desiderano il ristoro spirituale. Dio non impone la Sua Grazia agli uomini, la porta bensì vicino a loro, la offre ad ogni uomo, ma lo lascia libero di servirsi del Suo Dono di Grazia. E se ora Egli trasmette la Sua Parola agli uomini e non vi si bada, manca loro la Forza, perché il Dono di Grazia più grande e più delizioso è la trasmissione della Parola divina. Beato l’uomo che attinge dalla Fonte del Suo Amore e della Sua Sapienza, che non vi passa oltre, che si china per accogliere la Bevanda di ristoro, perché attraverso di lui fluisce insospettata Forza e gli diventerà più facile la via verso l’Alto.

Fountain of wisdom.... fountain of grace.... refreshing drink....

Everyone who hungers and thirsts for spiritual nourishment will be allowed to refresh themselves at the divine fountain of grace. As soon as he has a desire for it, the fountain of wisdom will open up to him and strengthen his spirit. And this results in the fact that his soul has to mature, for if it is given spiritual nourishment it will increasingly shape itself in accordance with divine will, i.e. it will unite with the spirit within it and this will mould the soul into the image of God. It is radiated with light until it has completely become a being of light. God's love is therefore constantly ready to bestow grace.... Receiving this grace also requires the willingness of the human being, for grace cannot be imparted to someone who does not want to receive it, but the human being cannot be forced to receive grace either. Yet how often does he lack the willingness, how often does he pass by the source of grace which divine love opens for him so that he can draw strength from it.... And even if living water flows from the spring, which is delicious refreshment for the thirsty traveller on earth.... man desires other food and drink and ignores the spring. And therefore the need in the world is unspeakably great.... therefore people are afflicted by suffering and affliction, so that they become weary and thus threaten to pine away and take refuge in this divine source of grace, which alone can give them refreshment and strength. Every traveller needs strengthening, for the path to the heights is long and arduous. Every traveller also has access to this source, but how many pass it by because the refreshment does not seem desirable to them, because they want to indulge in worldly pleasures and do not desire spiritual refreshment. And God does not force His grace on people, He certainly brings it close to them, He offers it to every person, but He leaves it up to them to make use of His gift of grace. And if He now imparts His word to people and it is not heeded, they lack strength, for the greatest and most precious of all gifts of grace is the imparting of the divine word. Blessed is the person who draws from the fountain of His love and wisdom, who does not pass it by, who bows down to receive the refreshing drink, for unsuspected strength will flow through him and the path to the heights will become easy for him....
