La morte spirituale - Lo stato senza vita nell’aldilà

Questo è lo stato di morte, che qualsiasi attività è impossibile e perciò l’essenziale che è caduto alla morte, continua a rimanere nello stesso stadio, cioè non può cambiare in sé. Lo stato di morte però non è uno stato della inconsapevolezza. Non esiste nessuna morte corporea, ma questa parola si può impiegare solo sullo stato spirituale. Quello che sulla Terra sembra morto vive comunque, perché non rimane lo stesso com’è ma cambia, quindi non è totalmente senza vita. Veramente morto può essere chiamato solo l’essere il cui stato spirituale è così basso che è condannato all’inattività, e questo stato è oltremodo tormentoso, perché l’essere sà di sé e della sua situazione e non se ne può liberare. Essere spiritualmente morto è quindi il più grande tormento, quando l’essere è costretto all’inattività, che riconosce solo nell’attività uno stato sopportabile. L’essenziale ha svolto un’attività attraverso delle Eternità, benché inizialmente era solo minima, ma l’essenziale attraverso la sua volontà di servire si è reso libero in quanto è stato poi ammesso ad un’attività che corrispondeva alla sua volontà. Questa era bensì legata attraverso delle Eternità, ma l’essere stesso non era mai impedito ad essere attivo ed attraverso l’attività poteva liberarsi, appena era disposto ad esercitare quest’attività nell’amore servente. Ma ora ogni attività diventa impossibile, l’essere nel vero senso della parola è senza vita e soffre terribilmente sotto questo stato di cui esso stesso è colpevole. Perché essere morto non significa essere cancellato, ma anche ciò che è morto rimane esistente per la sua insopportabile sofferenza. Questo stato può essere mutato solo da Dio Stesso in uno stato di Vita, perché lo spirituale colmo di Luce non ha nessun potere su ciò che è morto, perché ogni raggio di Luce che gli esseri di Luce guidano oltre, risveglia alla Vita e loro provvederebbero con il loro amore anche ciò che in sé è morto, quindi gli darebbero di nuovo la Vita, cosa che però non corrisponde alla Volontà di Dio, perché ciò che è morto può risvegliarsi alla Vita soltanto quando esso stesso è volenteroso di amare. Lo stato inattivo è tormentoso e questi tormenti devono spingere l’essere ad una decisione, per o contro Dio. Prima che questa decisione non venga presa dall’essere, non gli può essere rivolto nessun amore, quindi non gli può nemmeno essere trasmessa nessuna Forza per l’attività. Un essere senza vita però è caduto alla morte spirituale, perché si oppone totalmente ancora a Dio e non ha usato la vita terrena per rinunciare a questa resistenza. L’ultima possibilità è ora lo stato della totale assenza di vita nell’aldilà con la consapevolezza della propria esistenza. All’essere non viene concesso nessun favore e lui stesso deve desiderare la liberazione dal suo stato senza vita, cosa che dura sovente delle Eternità, prima che anche l’essere arrivi a questa decisione. Solo allora giungono all’essere singoli raggi di Luce, cioè Dio Stesso dà la Sua Approvazione agli esseri di Luce per l’attività salvifica per ciò che è senza vita.

Spiritual death.... lifeless state in the afterlife....

This is the state of death, that all activity is impossible and therefore the beingness that has succumbed to death remains in the same state, i.e. cannot change within itself. The state of death, however, is not a state of the unconscious. There is no physical death, but this word can only be applied to the spiritual state. What appears dead on earth is nevertheless alive, for it does not remain the same as it is, but changes and is therefore not completely lifeless.... Only that being can be called truly dead whose spiritual state is so low that it is condemned to inactivity, and this state is extremely agonizing because the being knows about itself and its situation and cannot free itself from it. To be spiritually dead is therefore the greatest agony when the being is forced to inactivity, which only recognizes a bearable state in activity. Throughout eternities the beingness has carried out an activity, although this was only minimal at first, but through its will to serve the beingness freed itself insofar as that it was then allowed to an activity which corresponded to its will. Thus its will was certainly bound throughout eternities but the being itself was never prevented from being active, and it was able to redeem itself through the activity as soon as it was willing to carry out this activity in serving love. But now all activity becomes impossible, the being is lifeless in the truest sense of the word and suffers terribly from this state, which it has caused itself. For to be dead does not mean to be extinguished, but even that which is dead remains to its unbearable suffering. The state can only be changed into a state of life by God Himself, for the full of light has no power over the dead, because every ray of light which the beings of light pass on is life-awakening and they would also bestow their love on what is dead in itself, thus they would give it life again, but this does not correspond to God's will because the dead can only awaken to life when it is willing to love itself. The inactive state is agonizing and this agony must force the being to make a decision.... for or against God. Until this decision is made by the being, no love can be given to it, thus no strength for activity can be imparted. A lifeless being, however, is doomed to spiritual death because it still completely resists God and has not used its earthly life to give up this resistance. The last possibility is now the state of complete lifelessness in the beyond with the awareness of its existence. No concession is granted to the being and it has to demand liberation from its lifeless state itself, which often takes eternities before the being has come to this decision. Only then are isolated rays of light sent to the being, i.e. God Himself gives His permission for the light beings' redeeming activity on the lifeless....
