“Las puertas del infierno....”

El núcleo de la Enseñanza de Cristo es el mandamiento de amar a Dios y al prójimo. Entonces, dondequiera que ésta se enseñe y practique, allí hay verdadero Cristianismo, allí está la Iglesia de Cristo, que tiene sus cimientos en la fe firme en Él y que, por lo tanto, seguirá existiendo incluso si todo lo demás se derrumba. Su Iglesia incluye a los creyentes que viven según Su mandamiento de amor y que están llenos de Su Espíritu, que se expresa obviamente o en secreto al servir al alma del individuo. Y para esta Iglesia, Jesucristo garantiza la inmortalidad con las Palabras: “Las puertas del infierno no la superarán....”. Al mismo tiempo, expresó con Sus Palabras que las fuerzas del infierno la atacarán.... Y Su Palabra es verdad y se cumplirá al final del tiempo que Dios ha concedido a lo espiritual para su redención.

Entonces la Iglesia de Cristo será atacada por todos los poderes hostiles a Dios, pero permanecerá victorioso y será reconocida como imperecedera por quienes pertenecen a ella, por la comunidad de creyentes que se mantienen firmes en el verdadero Cristianismo, que siguen la Enseñanza de Cristo y viven en el amor. Pero esta Iglesia de Cristo será pequeña, sólo un pequeño grupo pertenecerá a ella, y sin embargo estará representada en todas partes de la Tierra.... en todas partes vivirán personas verdaderamente amorosas y, por tanto, verdaderos cristianos. Y su amor les da sabiduría, y así también serán profundamente creyentes, y reconocerán al Dios del Amor, Que Se ha encarnado en la Tierra en Jesucristo, y se esforzarán conscientemente hacia Él.

A todos estos Dios ha prometido permanecer con ellos hasta el fin; les ha prometido Su Espíritu porque verdaderamente pertenecen a Su Iglesia, que Él Mismo fundó. Y así Él los protegerá hasta el fin de la ruina espiritual y terrenal, porque viven como Cristo lo enseño.... en el amor a Dios y al prójimo.... Y estarán entre los que al final serán preservados ante la muerte, a quienes Dios trae a Sí Mismo, al reino de la paz, antes de que tenga lugar la gran destrucción en la Tierra....

El pequeño grupo que forma Su Iglesia será una vez más el fundamento en la nueva Tierra, y las Enseñanzas de Cristo serán proclamadas nuevamente, el amor será cultivado y los pueblos de la nueva Tierra están en la fe más profunda porque el amor de Dios se les ha revelado a ellos, Quien Mismo habita entre ellos, porque cumplen Su mandamiento de amor a Dios y al prójimo.... Y así la Iglesia de Dios permanecerá, durará más que todos los tiempos, porque sus seguidores son siempre personas que creen que en la fe al Redentor del mundo están llenos de amor y cuyo trabajo es un servicio constante en el amor.... porque nada puede perecer que tiene su origen en Dios, lo que hace del amor su principio básico y por tanto es divino....

'The gates of hell....' Church of Christ....

The quintessence of Christ's teaching is the commandment of love for God and one's neighbour. Hence, wherever this is taught and practiced, there is true Christianity, there is the church of Christ, which has its foundation in its firm faith in Him and which therefore will continue when all else comes to an end. His church comprises believers who live according to His commandment of love and who are therefore permeated by His spirit which manifests itself openly or in secret, depending on what is best for the individual soul. And Jesus Christ guaranteed that this church will last forever with the Words 'The gates of hell shall not prevail against it....' At the same time His Words indicated that it will be attacked by the forces of hell.... And His Word is truth and will come to pass at the end of the time granted by God for the souls' redemption. Then the church of Christ will be assailed by forces which are hostile to God, yet it will remain victorious and be recognised as everlasting by its followers, by the community of believers who practise true Christianity, abide by the teachings of Christ and live a life of love.

However, this church of Christ will be small, only a small group will belong to it and yet, it will be represented all over the world.... truly lovingly active people and therefore true Christians will live all over the world. Their love will gain them wisdom, and thus they will also be profoundly devout and acknowledge the God of love Who embodied Himself on earth in Jesus Christ and consciously strive towards Him. They were all promised by God that He would remain with them until the end, He promised them His spirit because they belong in truth to His church which He Himself founded. And thus He will protect them until the end from spiritual and earthly ruin, because they live according to Christ's teaching.... with love for God and their neighbour.... and belong to those who will be shielded from death, who will be taken by God into the kingdom of peace before the immense destruction takes place.... The small group constituting His church will be the foundation again on the new earth, Christ's teaching will be proclaimed once more, love will be cultivated and the people of the new earth will live in deep faith, for God's love had revealed itself to them, He Himself will stay in their midst because they fulfil His commandment of love for God and their neighbour.... And thus God's church will continue, it will survive all times because it will always be followed by people whose faith in the Redeemer of the world fills them with love and whose activity consists of a constant service in love.... because nothing can cease to exist which originates in God, which accepts love as its basic principle and therefore is divine....
