Obstáculos.... Amor al prójimo....

Es un momento de lucha interior que tiene que atravesar la persona que se esfuerza por alcanzar a Dios para que su voluntad se fortalezca y finalmente se decida a favor o en contra de Dios. Porque nada se puede ganar sin luchar, y lo que se puede lograr fácilmente tiene poco valor. Pero el don divino.... la vida eterna.... es tan infinitamente precioso que ningún esfuerzo debería ser demasiado grande que promete esta posesión. Solo unas pocas personas usan toda su voluntad para aguantar todas las adversidades de la vida y, sin embargo, sirven a Dios con la mayor devoción, y la perseverancia será una bendición para ellas, porque al mismo tiempo la voluntad y el amor por Dios se fortalecen.... Quien quiera llegar a Dios por encima de los obstáculos, también aumentará su fuerza, y pronto le parecerá fácil lo que antes pensaba que era insuperable.

Luchar o servir solo puede llevaros al objetivo, pero donde sirváis voluntariamente, la lucha se volverá fácil para vosotros o se os salvará por completo. Pero a veces os volvéis perezosos en el servicio y por lo tanto tenéis que luchar contra las dificultades y obstáculos de los que no podéis salvaros, de lo que contrario puede ocurrir el peligro de un estancamiento, lo que sería una gran desventaja para el alma. Lo que es más difícil de alcanzar para el hombre a menudo lo motiva a la mayor actividad, y este es el propósito de tales adversidades que no os canséis ni os quedáis parados, sino que continuáis con paso firme el camino hacia arriba.... Y que pidáis fuerza para que os sea suministrado para superar todo lo que os obstaculiza en el camino de ascenso....

El mandamiento de amar al prójimo a menudo requiere el sacrificio de lo que es deseable para el hombre. Debe poder renunciar voluntariamente a lo que él mismo posee y lo que le falta a su prójimo, debe despojarse de ello con alegría de corazón, debe ver su más bella tarea terrenal en el hecho de que siempre da lo que alegra al prójimo. Entonces él experimentará lo mismo en sí mismo.... se le dará.... Recibirá lo que el Señor Mismo le ofrece, ya sea terrenal o espiritualmente. Dios siempre dará a aquel, quien mismo da a su prójimo. Y si entonces el corazón está involucrado en dar, al corazón también se le permitirá recibir.

Los dones terrenales o espirituales, presentados con amor, traerán éxitos terrenales y espirituales.... Éxitos espirituales sin medidas y recompensas terrenales en la medida en que esto sea beneficioso para el alma. De modo que el hombre no se privará jamás a sí mismo cuando el amor al prójimo le induzca a dar. Y por lo tanto, no existirían las necesidades y preocupaciones en la tierra, si cada ser humana brindaría amorosamente su ayuda al prójimo, porque Dios bendiga cada acto de amor. Sin embargo, los hombres carecen aún del conocimiento que solo el amor redime a la humanidad.

El amor propio está desarrollado fuertemente y esto a su vez impide que los hombres ejerzan el amor al prójimo, que solo tiene valor si se lleva a cabo sin ningún interés propio. Sin embargo, en su mayor parte, el hombre pensará en su propio bienestar y, dado que no hace nada para obtener la bendición de Dios y Su amor, tiene que ser avisado a través del sufrimiento y la necesidad de lo incorrecto de su pensar y actuar y de su omisión y así se conjuran el sufrimiento y la necesidad.

Porque el amor redime, pero la falta de amor hace que el hombre no sea libre y lo mantiene en las cadenas del adversario....

Pero Dios Mismo no puede acercarse a una criatura sin amor, y nunca se le puede ofrecer el don divino.... entonces el hombre sufre, que solo ama a su propio Yo y no se fija en la necesidad de su prójimo, porque no puede recibir nada más de lo que él da....

Obstacles.... Love of neighbour....

It is a time of inner struggle, which the person striving towards God has to live through, so that his will becomes strong and he finally decides in favour of or against God. For nothing can be gained without a fight, and what can be achieved effortlessly is of little value. But the divine gift.... of eternal life.... is so infinitely precious that no effort should be too great to promise this possession. Only a few people apply all their will to withstand all adversities of life and still serve God with the greatest devotion, and their perseverance will be a blessing, for at the same time their will and love for God will strengthen.... Whoever wants to reach God by overcoming obstacles will also have his strength increased, and it will soon seem easy to him what he previously thought was insurmountable. Only fighting or serving can lead you to the goal, yet where you willingly serve, the battle will become easy for you or be spared altogether. Yet at times you will become lukewarm in your service, and thus have to fight against adversity and obstacles which you cannot be spared, otherwise the danger of a standstill may arise which would be of great disadvantage to the soul. What is more difficult for the human being to achieve often spurs him on to utmost activity, and this is the purpose of such adversities, that you do not tire or stand still but steadfastly continue the path upwards.... and that you ask for strength so that it can be given to you to overcome everything that hinders you on the path upwards.... The commandment to love one's neighbour often requires a sacrifice of that which is desirable to man. He must be able to willingly give away what he himself possesses and his neighbour lacks, he must renounce it with joyfulness of heart, he must see his most beautiful task on earth in always giving what brings joy to his neighbour. Then he will experience the same in himself.... he will be given.... he will receive what the Lord Himself offers him, be it earthly or spiritually. God will always give to the one who gives to his neighbour. And thus, if the heart is involved in giving, the heart will also be allowed to receive. Earthly and spiritual gifts, offered in love, will bring in earthly and spiritual successes.... spiritual successes unmeasured and earthly reward, as far as this is beneficial for the soul. Thus a person will never deprive himself if his love for his neighbour prompts him to give. And therefore, misery and worry would never again be represented on earth if every human being would lovingly grant his neighbour help, for God Himself blesses every deed of love. However, humanity lacks the realisation that only love is redeeming. Self-love is strongly developed, and this in turn prevents people from practising neighbourly love, which is only of value if it is done without any self-interest. In most cases, however, the human being will think of his own well-being and, since he therefore does nothing to gain God's blessing and His love, will have to be made aware of the wrongness of his thoughts and actions, of his omission, through suffering and hardship, and thus cause hardship and suffering. For love redeems, but unkindness makes the human being unfree and keeps him in the adversary's bondage.... God Himself, however, cannot approach an unloving creature, and divine gifts can never be offered to him.... thus the human being, who only loves his own self and disregards his neighbour in need of help, has to thirst, for he cannot receive anything other than what he gives....
