Deformaciones físicas y su bendición

El hombre tiene que sostener una prueba de vida involuntaria –pero aun así extremadamente curativa– cuando su cuerpo presenta deformaciones que le impiden el gozo ilimitado de placeres terrenales, es decir, cuando por eso se ve obligado a renunciar a placeres mundanos.

Sólo que ahora se encuentra en el gran peligro de guardar rencor a su Creador o, igual, de rehusarle del todo; porque según su criterio la Voluntad de un Divinidad que “agracia” a los seres humanos con semejantes “dones” le resulta incomprensible.

Pero si a pesar de su desgracia mantiene una fe firme, su progreso espiritual será más fácil porque le resultará más fácil resistirse a las tentaciones del mundo; pues en falta de placeres mundanos se dedicará tanto más a problemas espirituales que le llevarán mucho antes al estado de madurez.

De modo que frecuentemente tales hombres llegan en poco tiempo al concepto correcto de su Vida de la cual ya no exigen una realización total sino que con paciencia esperan la hora que acaba con su existencia, convencidos que solamente entonces comenzará la verdadera Vida... y que en el Más Allá su conducta en la Tierra tendrá sus consecuencias.

En este sentido el que en la Tierra esté deformado tiene cierta ventaja pues su renuncia a los placeres terrenales le resulta más fácil que a un hombre bien hecho que continuamente está expuesto a las tentaciones mundanas - pero eso sólo si el mismo cumple con lo suyo, es decir, si con devoción a la Voluntad de Dios soporta la suerte que le está impuesta, dando gracias a su Creador por haberle dado la vida.

Si tal hombre es espiritualmente activo, entonces pronto ya no considerará su figura como una desgracia sino verá en la Vida espiritual un objetivo deseable. Siempre aspirará por más saber, y también dará amor a sus semejantes. Pero no se quejará de su suerte y menos aún se rebelará contra Dios...

Blessing of deformity....

The human being has to undergo an involuntary yet very beneficial test of life if he, due to his external appearance, is unable to enjoy earthly pleasures, i.e. if the opportunity of undivided enjoyment of life is taken from him due to some kind of deformity and he is forced to give up earthly joys. He could then be in great danger to think of his Creator in bitterness or even reject Him completely because the will of a Deity who, in his opinion, imparts gifts to His earthly children unfairly, is incomprehensible to him. However, if he remains faithful in spite of his misfortune, spiritual progress will be possible for him much sooner since he will find it easier to resist the world and its temptations and in absence of worldly pleasures will be far more able to occupy himself with spiritual problems, which will lead him to the state of maturity much sooner. Consequently, such human beings often achieve the right understanding of their life in a short time.... They no longer demand complete fulfilment in life and patiently await the time when their earthly existence comes to an end, convinced that only then true life will begin and that their time on earth will have an appropriate effect in the beyond.

Hence, a deformed person on earth has a certain advantage in as much as the denial of worldly pleasures is easier for him than for a well proportioned person who is constantly confronted with the temptations of the world, but only if he contributes towards it himself, that is, if he, in submission to God's will, accepts his imposed destiny and thanks his Creator that He had given him life. If such a human being is spiritually active he soon will no longer consider his body a misfortune but consider spiritual life a desirable goal. He will always strive to increase his spiritual knowledge; he will also love his fellow human beings and not grumble at his fate or even fight God....
