2265 Serious reminder to prioritize intellectual work....

March 17, 1942: Book 31

Lend Me your ear, you who are faithfully devoted to Me, and hear: My mission can only be fulfilled by putting earthly obligations to one side. Demands will be made of you which threaten to take you away from your work for Me and you will not know what you should do. However, you will never have to do without My care and concern, and what seems to be lost to you on earth I will replace a thousandfold as soon as you serve Me with all your strength. It only lasts a short time that you can be active for Me, and you should make use of this time and always remember My admonition, for the salvation of countless people's souls depends on your work on earth. What you devote earthly is worthless for eternity, and therefore let Me alone be your lord, Whose work shall be your only endeavour. You are certainly facing great tribulations but with My help you will overcome them, and you may also not worry, I will protect you from adversity and hardship if only you believingly expect My help. Let everything come to you and look into the future undaunted.... (interruption)
