Sacrifice and renunciation....

The father fulfils all your requests which you send up to Him in spirit and in truth.... For it is only possible for you to receive true enlightenment in a spiritual way if you desire it. Yet you should also be aware of the fact that you must also prove yourselves worthy of being addressed by Me and that you therefore must also have the firm will to live for My pleasure.... Hence your salvation should prompt you to ask Me questions, not earthly motives, for I want to win your souls and for the sake of this purpose you listen to My word. And so I ask you: Why don't you give yourselves completely to Me?.... Why do you still seek the world and its lust?.... Why is it so difficult for you to renounce the latter when you know that I have far more glorious joys in store for you which will compensate you a thousandfold for everything you voluntarily sacrificed to Me on earth?.... All My love belongs to you, and this desires your love in return.... and you shall prove it to Me by also being willing to make sacrifices to Me. And you will know for yourselves when and how you can bring Me a sacrifice.... and truly, every sacrifice will result in its blessing. You yourselves have free will and I can only call out to you: Remember your souls.... But whatever you do or refrain from doing must be done entirely voluntarily, you must not be influenced by anyone, for every influence can also have the opposite effect, that you inwardly rebel and distance yourselves from Me. You should put self-love on the back burner but let neighbourly love come to the fore, and you will truly achieve much.... and always seek refuge with Me.... For you should know that My adversary constantly tries to harass you and that you only reject him if you take the path to Me. (20.3.1961) And I want your love.... as soon as it is meant for Me you will no longer be able to love anything apart from Me which still belongs to My adversary.... Do you understand this? Love for Me also protects you from physical desire, for then I will be above everything, you will also want to gain and keep My love forever. Hence love should always motivate you to give yourselves away, love should always motivate you to relinquish.... You should always place your fellow human being's well-being above your own desire, and through your love for your fellow human being you will also prove your love for Me. You should fight self-love, and that also means overcoming your own desires if you can help your neighbour by doing so, i.e. by making your neighbour happy, by giving and helping him when he is in need.... If you have love within you, then you also know what you have to do, for love guides your thoughts right.... Love also awakens counter-love, and you should always bear this in mind that every lack of love awakens hostility and you will then no longer be able to cope with the evil spirits which will beset you.... You should always bear in mind that I do not evaluate the deed but the will, that I always judge according to whether love is the impetus for your will and action.... I condemn all self-love, I will bless all self-sacrificing love. But where all love is missing the door is opened for the adversary and you will not easily get rid of him again. And yet I know your innermost thoughts, you cannot hide anything from Me, your thoughts are open and clear to Me. But nevertheless you should come to Me and present everything to Me with complete trust that I will help you in all adversity. But I want to see your love, for if you are without love you will never be able to unite with Me, you will not be able to pray to Me intimately either, for there is resentment in your hearts if love is not in you, because My adversary has planted the seed which will now sprout where I Myself cannot be. Therefore seek to purify your hearts from such thoughts which are not in accordance with love for Me and your neighbour. Free yourselves from every kind of selfish love because it will prevent you from showing your neighbour the love he needs in order to be able to radiate love in return. And you will join Me ever more intimately, for true love, giving love which wants to please will always lead to Me, for it does not seek its own happiness but only that of the other person. And this one alone will now also live his life with Me and I will help him if he needs My help, I will bless his good will and protect him from every adversity of body and soul...._>Amen

희생과 포기.

아버지는 너희가 영으로 진리로 자기에게 올려드리는 모든 부탁을 너희에게 들어준다. 왜냐면 너희가 올바른 설명을 원하면, 올바른 설명은 받는 길은 단지 영적인 길을 통해 가능하기 때문이다. 너희는 너희가 내 음성을 듣기에 합당하게 너희 자신을 증명해야만 함을 인식해야 한다.

그러므로 너희는 나를 기쁘게 하려는 삶을 살려는 굳은 의지를 가져야만 한다. 너희의 혼의 구원이 나에게 세상적인 근거를 두지 않은 질문을 하게 만들어야 하다. 왜냐면 나는 너희 혼을 얻기 원하기 때문이다. 이를 목적으로 너희는 내 말을 듣는다. 그러므로 나는 너희에게 질문한다. 너희는 왜 너희 자신을 나에게 전적으로 모두 드리지 않느냐?

너희는 왜 아직 세상과 세상의 즐거움을 구하느냐? 만약에 너희가 이 땅에서 자유의지로 희생을 드린 모든 것을 천 배나 보상을 해주는 훨씬 더 영광스러운 기쁨을 내가 너희를 위해 준비하는 것을 알면, 세상을 포기하는 일이 너희에게 왜 그렇게 어렵 느냐?

내 모든 사랑이 너희에게 속해 있다. 이 사랑은 너희의 응답하는 사랑을 갈망한다. 너희는 이 사랑을 나에게 희생을 드릴 준비를 통해 나에게 증명해야 한다. 너희가 스스로 언제, 어떻게 너희가 나에게 희생을 드릴 수 있는지 알 것이다. 진실로 모든 희생은 그의 축복을 줄 것이다.

너희 자신이 자유의지를 가지고 있다. 나는 단지 너희에게 너희의 혼을 생각하라고 말할 수 있다. 너희가 이제 행하는 일이나 행하지 않는 일은 전적으로 자유의지로 행해야만 한다. 너희는 어느 편으로부터 영향을 받아서는 안 된다. 왜냐면 모든 영향은 너희가 내적으로 거부하는 반대의 효과를 너희가 나로부터 멀어지는 반대의 효과를 가려올 수 있기 때문이다.

너희는 자기 사랑을 줄여야 한다. 그러나 이웃 사랑을 드러나게 해야 한다. 너희는 진실로 많은 것에 도달할 것이고 항상 나를 도피처로 삼을 것이다. 왜냐면 너희는 내 대적자가 너희를 항상 공격하려고 함을 너희가 나에게 향하는 길을 택하면, 너희가 단지 대적자를 거부하는 것임을 알아야 하기 때문이다. (1961년 3월 20일)

나는 너희의 사랑을 원한다. 너희 사랑이 나에게 향하면, 너희는 내 밖에 있는 아직 내 대적자에게 속해 있는 것을 더 이상 사랑할 수 없다. 너희는 이를 이해할 수 있느냐? 나를 향한 사랑이 너희를 육체의 갈망으로부터 보호한다. 왜냐면 나는 무엇보다도 너희에게 다가가기 때문이다. 너희는 내 사랑을 얻기 원하고 영원히 소유하기를 원한다.

그래서 사랑이 항상 너희 자신을 드리게 만들어야 한다. 항상 사랑이 너희들로 하여금 포기하게 만들어야 한다. 너희는 이웃의 행복을 너희의 갈망보다 더 중요시해야 한다. 너희는 이웃을 향한 사랑을 통해 나 자신을 향한 사랑을 증명해야 한다. 너희는 자기 사랑과 싸워야 한다. 이는 자신의 정욕을 극복하는 일을 통해 이웃을 도울 수 있으면, 자신의 정욕을 극복하는 것을 의미한다.

다시 말해 이웃을 행복하게 하고 베풀고 그들이 고난 가운데 있으면, 그들을 돕는 것이다. 너희 안에 사랑이 있으면, 너희는 너희가 무엇을 해야 할지 안다. 왜냐면 사랑이 너희의 생각을 올바르게 인도하기 때문이다. 사랑은 응답하는 사랑을 깨어나게 한다. 모든 사랑이 없는 행위는 적대감을 불러 일으킨다는 것을 너희는 항상 생각해야 한다.

그러면 너희는 너희를 공격할 악한 영들을 물리칠 수 없다. 너희는 항상 내가 행하는 것으로 평가하는 것이 아니라 의지를 평가함을 내가 너희가 원하는 것과 행하는 것의 원동력이 사랑인지에 따라 항상 판단하는 것을 생각해야 한다. 나는 모든 자기 사랑을 심판한다. 나는 희생하는 모든 사랑의 행위를 축복할 것이다.

그러나 어떠한 사랑도 없는 사람은 대적자에게 문과 대문을 열어 놓은 것이다. 너희는 그렇게 쉽게 대적자를 벗어나지 못할 것이다. 그러나 나는 너희의 가장 깊은 곳의 생각을 안다. 너희는 어떤 것도 내 앞에서 감출 수 없다. 모든 것이 열려 있고 내 앞에 너희가 어떤 생각을 가지고 있는지 선명하다.

그러나 그럴지라도 너희는 나에게 다가와 전적인 신뢰 가운데 내가 모든 위험 가운데 너희를 도와주게 모든 것을 고백해야 한다. 그러나 나는 너희의 사랑을 보기를 원한다. 왜냐면 너희가 사랑이 없으면, 너희는 절대로 너희를 나와 연결시킬 수 없을 것이기 때문이다.

너희는 나에게 긴밀하게 기도할 수 없을 것이다. 왜냐면 너희 안에 사랑이 없으면, 너희 심장에 앙심이 있기 때문이다. 내 대적자가 씨앗을 뿌렸고 내가 함께할 수 없는 곳에서 이제 자라나기 때문이다. 그러므로 나를 향한 그리고 이웃을 향한 사랑에 일치되지 않은 너희의 생각을 깨끗하게 하라.

모든 종류의 자기 사랑으로부터 너희를 자유롭게 만들라. 왜냐면 자기 사랑은 너희가 이웃이 응답하는 사랑을 행할 수 있기 위해 이웃에게 이웃이 필요로 하는 사랑을 베푸는 것을 막으려고 하기 때문이다. 너희는 항상 긴밀하게 너희 자신을 나와 연결시킬 것이다.

왜냐면 베풀려는 행복하게 해주기 원하는 올바른 사랑은 항상 나에게 인도하기 때문이다. 왜냐면 이 사랑은 자신의 것을 구하지 않고 항상 단지 다른 사람의 행복을 구하기 때문이다. 이런 사람이 그의 삶을 이제 나와 함께 살게 될 것이다. 그가 내 도움이 필요하면, 나는 그를 도울 것이다. 나는 그의 선한 의지를 축복할 것이다. 나는 모든 육신적인 혼적인 위험으로부터 그를 지킬 것이다.
