Purification of the soul....

You all have to pass through a purification bath in order to become free from sin and its consequences. And no matter how your earthly course unfolds, it will always offer opportunities which are equal to a thorough purification, because they consist of suffering and hardship which are only beneficial for your soul. Yet the most effective means of purification and healing is love.... Anyone who practices this helps his soul to thoroughly purify itself, he also dissolves the hardest shells, for nothing can offer resistance to love, love dissolves and redeems, it sets the soul free and gives it the life that lasts forever.... You must all descend into this sanctifying bath, for even suffering and pain can remain ineffective if they are not accompanied by love. Because you humans take little care of love, because you let it grow cold and therefore also leave the soul in its unhappy state, because you don't help your soul in its adversity, which signifies a burden of sin for the soul, it must now be helped in a different way. It has to go through a course of suffering which certainly also has the consequence that it dissolves the hardest shells.... but the soul remains weakened until it receives strength through the working of love.... Thus it can enter the beyond in weakness and helplessness but it has achieved on earth that it no longer resists the efforts of beings willing to help.... that it is grateful for the help in its state of weakness and is now also willing to provide the same assistance to souls which are in need like it. This will to help already gives it strength, for love flares up in those souls which only then secures the soul's ascent. For this reason people should bless the suffering which affects them on earth if they lack loving activity, for the soul only gains through this, and it first has to have shed its burdensome dross before it is possible to give it so much light that it will then strive upwards itself. And therefore it is of little use to want to keep all suffering away from a person, (15.12.1956) and where the love of fellow human beings would like to help him, this love should be directed towards the person's spiritual recovery, towards his spiritual progress. He should be remembered with intercession so that suffering does not fail to have an influence and that he is thereby purified, although fellow human beings should also do everything in their power to avert earthly suffering from their neighbour. But often you humans are helplessly confronted by your fellow human being's adversity yourselves, and then you should know that suffering is permitted precisely for the sake of the soul's purification; you should know that one day the soul will also recognize the blessing of the suffering it was granted in earthly life as soon as it has only surrendered to its earthly fate, because now it can also assess the suffering of other unfortunate souls in the beyond and thereby its will to help has awakened, which now also guarantees its ascent....

Purificação da alma....

Todos vocês têm de passar por um banho de purificação para se libertarem do pecado e das suas consequências. E não importa como seu curso terreno se desenrole, sempre oferecerá oportunidades iguais a uma purificação completa, porque consistem em sofrimento e privações que só são benéficas para sua alma. No entanto, o meio mais eficaz de purificação e cura é o amor.... Quem pratica isto ajuda a sua alma a purificar-se completamente, dissolve também as conchas mais duras, pois nada pode oferecer resistência ao amor, o amor dissolve-se e redime, liberta a alma e dá-lhe a vida que dura para sempre.... Todos vocês devem descer a este banho santificante, pois mesmo o sofrimento e a dor podem permanecer ineficazes se não forem acompanhados de amor. Porque vocês, humanos, cuidam pouco do amor, porque o deixam arrefecer e, portanto, também deixam a alma no seu estado infeliz, porque não ajudam a alma na sua adversidade, o que significa um fardo de pecado para a alma, ela deve agora ser ajudada de uma maneira diferente. Tem de passar por um curso de sofrimento que certamente também tem a consequência de dissolver as conchas mais duras.... mas a alma permanece enfraquecida até receber força através do trabalho do amor..... Assim pode entrar no além em fraqueza e impotência, mas alcançou na Terra que já não resiste aos esforços dos seres dispostos a ajudar.... que está grato pela ajuda no seu estado de fraqueza e agora também está disposto a dar a mesma assistência às almas que estão em necessidade como ela. Esta vontade de ajudar já lhe dá força, pois o amor se acende naquelas almas que só então assegura a ascensão da alma. Por esta razão as pessoas devem abençoar o sofrimento que as afeta na Terra se lhes faltar atividade amorosa,.... pois a alma só ganha com isso, e primeiro tem que ter derramado a sua onerosa escória antes que seja possível dar-lhe tanta luz que depois se esforçará para cima. E, portanto, é de pouca utilidade querer manter todo o sofrimento longe de uma pessoa, (15.12.1956) e onde o amor do próximo quiser ajudá-lo, esse amor deve ser dirigido para a recuperação espiritual da pessoa, para o seu progresso espiritual. Ele deve ser lembrado com intercessão, para que o sofrimento não deixe de ter influência e assim seja purificado, embora os semelhantes também devam fazer tudo o que estiver ao seu alcance para evitar o sofrimento terreno do seu próximo. Mas, muitas vezes, vós, seres humanos, sois impotentes perante a adversidade do vosso semelhante, e então deveis saber que o sofrimento é permitido precisamente para a purificação da alma; deveis saber que um dia a alma também reconhecerá a bênção do sofrimento que lhe foi concedido na vida terrena, assim que só se entregou ao seu destino terreno, porque agora também pode avaliar o sofrimento de outras almas infelizes no além e assim despertou a sua vontade de ajudar, o que agora também garante a sua ascensão._>Amém
