Human responsibility.... free will....

You have to take the last step towards perfection in earthly life of your own free will.... Until then you were guided and could not go any other way since you were subject to the law of compulsion, thus you had to carry out everything God determined, whereas now in earthly life God's will is indeed revealed to you but you have to fulfil it completely freely out of yourselves and therefore can also live your life contrary to His will. Thus it is, as it were, given into your own hands what you achieve in earthly life.... And this is a great responsibility for you, for your 'thinking self', which determines your will and actions. But precisely for this reason your perfection is often called into question because you do not respect God's will but let your own will prevail which is opposed to divine will. And yet, everything depends on this short earthly time, for the life afterwards will be in accordance with this earthly lifetime. It can be immeasurably beautiful, a life of eternal bliss, but also immeasurably agonizing when the dark kingdom receives the soul after the death of the body.... And you decide that for yourselves.... As infinitely great as God's love for His creatures is, He nevertheless cannot turn away a fate from them which they have created for themselves in free will.... He cannot influence the human being against his will because perfection would then also be impossible.... He can only ever admonish and warn through His word, but still leaving it up to the human being whether he heeds the divine word at all, whether he follows it. But it is only an exceedingly short time compared to eternity, which the human being should, however, evaluate differently than he does.... Yet the freedom of his will, which he has regained after an infinitely long time of bondage, he very often abuses and yet he cannot be prevented from doing so.... He could reach the highest perfection on earth, for nothing more is required of him than: to overcome his self-love so that he would then be compensated a thousand fold in the kingdom of light and glory for what he sacrificed in earthly life.... He only needed to give very little in order to receive an infinite amount.... But he does not want to believe this and thus enjoys it beforehand. And thus he is content with pleasures which cannot in the least outweigh what he forfeited.... But he cannot be prevented from doing so, for free will is not taken away from him, precisely because it is meant to prove itself, because the human being alone has to decide how to evaluate his earthly life.... He can only be guided, everything can only be presented to him and he can be helped by indications, but it must be left up to him what benefit he derives from his guidance of destiny.... And that God takes care of every human being with love, that He makes it easy for him and offers him all possibilities, that is truly without doubt because He loves all His creations and wants to win them back. But He will never forcibly try to influence people, and therefore there is a great danger that people will fail in their last test of earthly life.... And yet, no human being can say that he did not have the strength for this, for it is abundantly available to every person but it has to be requested or acquired through prayer and activity of love. Prayer, however, presupposes faith in God and loving activity presupposes a change in his self-love.... The human being can do both, for he has the ability to do so within himself, and he only needs to want to, then he will be supported by God in every way. His strength would be increased and a light would also be kindled in him.... But where the will is absent there is no hope, and earthly life has been put back without result. The body has been abundantly provided for but the soul has remained as it was in the beginning of its embodiment as a human being.... Heavenly bliss, which lasts forever, has been forfeited for the sake of worthless goods. And the soul must continue to go through hardship and misery and perhaps also cover its entire course of development once again.... but the human being's will has determined this fate itself....

Responsabilidad del hombre.... Libre albedrío....

El último paso hacia la perfección en vuestra vida terrenal tenéis que darlo en el libre albedrío.... Fuisteis guiados hasta este punto y no podíais ir por otro camino, ya que estabais bajo la ley obligatoria, por lo que teníais que llevar a cabo todo lo que Dios determinó, mientras que ahora en la vida terrenal ciertamente la voluntad de Dios se os será revelada, pero tendréis que cumplirla con total libertad desde dentro de vosotros y, por lo tanto, también podréis llevar vuestra vida terrenal en contra de Su voluntad. Lo que lográis en la vida terrenal os ha sido entregado en vuestras propias manos, por así decirlo.... Y eso es una gran responsabilidad para vosotros, para vuestro “yo pensante”, que determina vuestra voluntad y vuestras acciones.

Pero es precisamente por eso que a menudo se pone en duda vuestra perfección, porque no respetáis la voluntad de Dios, sino que dejáis prevalecer vuestra propia voluntad, que es contraria a la voluntad divina. Y, sin embargo, todo depende de este corto tiempo en la tierra. Puede ser inmensamente hermosa, una vida de eterna bienaventuranza, pero también inmensamente dolorosa cuando el reino oscuro absorbe el alma después de la muerte del cuerpo.... Y eso lo decidís vosotros mismos....

Por infinitamente grande que sea el amor de Dios por Sus criaturas. Él no puede evitar de ellas un destino que ellas mismas ha creado en su libre albedrío.... No puede influir en el hombre en contra de su voluntad, porque entonces, la perfección es, por así decirlo, imposible.... Él sólo puede siempre amonestar y advertir a través de Su Palabra, pero aun dejando que sea el hombre quien decida si presta atención a la Palabra divina y si la sigue.

Pero es solo un tiempo extremadamente corto en comparación con la eternidad, que el hombre debería evaluar de manera diferente, a como lo hace.... Pero abusa enormemente de la libertad de su voluntad, que ha recuperado después de un periodo interminable de servidumbre, de la que abusa a menudo y, sin embargo, no se lo puede impedir que lo haga.... Podría alcanzar la más alta perfección en la tierra, porque no se le exige nada más que: superar su amor propio, para luego poder ser recompensado mil veces más en el reino de la luz y de la gloria por lo que sacrificó en la vida terrenal....

Pero sólo necesita dar muy poco para recibir infinitamente mucho.... Pero no quiere creerlo y por eso ya quiere disfrutarlo de antemano. Y así se contenta con placeres que no pueden en absoluto compensar lo que ha perdido.... Pero no se le puede impedir que lo haga, porque su libre albedrío, porque no se le quita el libre albedrío, precisamente porque tiene que demostrar su valía porque sólo él tiene que decidir cómo evaluar su vida en la tierra.... Sólo puede ser guiado, sólo se le puede presentar todo y ayudado a través de indicaciones, pero se debe dejarle a él mismo decidir qué beneficio saca de su destino....

Y que dios cuida de cada persona con amor, que se lo pone fácil y le ofrece todas las posibilidades, de eso verdaderamente no cabe duda, porque ama a todas Sus criaturas y quiere reconquistarlas. Pero Él nunca intentará influenciar a la gente por la fuerza, y por eso existe un gran peligro de que la gente fracase en su última prueba de la vida terrenal.... Y, sin embargo, nadie puede decir de no haber tenido la fuerza para ello, porque cada persona la tiene en abundancia a su disposición en abundancia, pero debe solicitarla o adquirirla a través de la oración y obras de amor. Pero la oración presupone la fe en Dios y el amor produce un cambio de su amor propio....

El hombre puede hacer ambas cosas, porque tiene la capacidad dentro de sí mismo, y sólo necesita querer, entonces será apoyado de Dios en todos los sentidos. Sus fuerzas aumentarían y también se encendería una luz en su interior.... Pero donde falta la voluntad no hay esperanza, y la vida en la tierra ha sido recorrido sin éxito. El cuerpo fue cuidado abundantemente, pero el alma permaneció como estaba al comienzo de su encarnación como ser humano.... Por causa de bienes inútiles, se ha perdido la felicidad celestial que dura para siempre. Y el alma debe seguir atravesando penurias y miserias y tal vez también volver a pasar nuevamente todo el proceso de desarrollo.... pero entonces la voluntad humana ha determinado este destino por sí misma....
