Attaining childship to God.... Opportunities for maturation....

You cannot prolong your life by one hour when your time has come to pass away from this earth, nor can you arbitrarily return to earth again, you must accept it as a certainty that your earthly life is finally concluded with the hour of your death.... What follows will take place in a kingdom which is not of this world, even if your soul has to take abode again in creations of a lower kind.... if its state does not allow it to stay in spheres of light which no longer require any material creations. But you always dwell beyond this earth, only as long as you are earthbound, i.e., with great longing for this earth you feel repeatedly drawn back to the places of your former abode without being able to make contact with them. Thus your soul can gain through bodily death but it can also have to move to a more primitive abode than the earth was.... always according to the maturity it has achieved as a human being.... But it will never be transferred back to earth again unless there are very special occasions or preconditions which, however, must not be generalised. Earthly life now offers the soul so many opportunities that it can easily reach a degree of maturity which frees it from all oppression, all weakness and all darkness.... if only the human being makes use of these opportunities.... Then the soul truly emerges as an conqueror of death, death is only the last obstacle for it to a life in freedom, light, and strength. If it does not make use of these opportunities then a fetter will certainly fall, the earthly body will release the soul but it will nevertheless remain bound because it is destitute of light and strength and will now be transferred to where it has the opportunity to recognise its miserable state as well as to change this state, yet mostly under far more difficult circumstances than on earth. Then it has, as it were, gone backwards in its development, but through its own fault, in free will.... But there is always a path of ascent, for there are innumerable possibilities of maturing, and the whole of creation with its countless stars offers these opportunities. But the soul has forfeited an unheard-of opportunity, for on earth it was offered the only opportunity to attain the childship to God. You humans do not understand the full profundity of what this means, but the bliss of those who reach this goal is indescribable, and every person can reach the goal if he wants to.... But even the best will is of no use to the soul if it failed on earth and now still takes the path upwards elsewhere.... this goal is unattainable for it. Nevertheless, it can likewise be saved, rise ever higher, for divine Fatherly love constantly draws each of His living creations and does not rest until the goal, the spiritualisation of every being, has been reached.... This knowledge is presented to people but only a few believe and take the transformation of their being seriously.... only a few reach the goal in earthly life, and only a few can leave earth at their death and enter the kingdom of light as fully spiritualised. And yet all people have this possibility.... But they lack love, and without love there is no progress, without love there is no light, no realisation.... Without love they also lack the right direction of will and the strength to carry it out. But people must move on earth in complete freedom of will, and they can only ever be taught. And therefore, as long as earth exists, God's love will not slacken in teaching, admonishing, and warning them through His word.... He will do everything that can move people into the right direction of will, He will spare no grace, and time and again preach love, but He will never induce a person to do what he must do in all freedom of will.... The human being alone determines the fate of his soul after his death....

Erreichen der Gotteskindschaft.... Ausreifungsmöglichkeiten....

Ihr könnet das Leben euch nicht verlängern um eine Stunde, wenn eure Zeit gekommen ist, da ihr abgerufen werdet von dieser Erde, ihr könnet auch nicht willkürlich wieder zur Erde zurückkehren, ihr müsset es als Gewißheit annehmen, daß euer Erdenleben endgültig abgeschlossen ist mit der Stunde eures Todes.... Was nachher kommt, spielt sich in einem Reich ab, das nicht von dieser Welt ist, selbst wenn eure Seele wieder Aufenthalt nehmen muß in Schöpfungen niedriger Art.... wenn also ihr Zustand nicht zuläßt, daß sie sich in Lichtsphären aufhalten kann, die keinerlei materielle Schöpfungen mehr benötigen. Immer aber weilet ihr jenseits dieser Erde, nur noch solange erdgebunden, d.h., mit großem Verlangen nach dieser Erde zieht es euch immer wieder an die Stätten eures einstigen Aufenthaltes zurück, ohne daß ihr mit diesen in Berührung treten könnet. Es kann also eure Seele gewinnen durch den Leibestod, sie kann aber auch einen primitiveren Aufenthaltsort beziehen müssen, als es die Erde war.... immer entsprechend ihrer Reife, die sie als Mensch erreicht hat.... Aber niemals wird sie wieder auf die Erde zurückversetzt, wenn nicht ganz besondere Anlässe oder Voraussetzungen sind, die aber nicht verallgemeinert werden dürfen. Im Erdenleben nun bieten sich der Seele so viele Gelegenheiten, daß sie leicht einen Reifegrad erreichen kann, der sie aller Schwere, aller Schwäche und aller Finsternis ledig werden lässet.... wenn der Mensch nur diese Gelegenheiten nützet.... Dann geht die Seele wirklich als Überwinderin des Todes hervor, der Tod ist für sie nur das letzte Hindernis zu einem Leben in Freiheit, Licht und Kraft. Nützet sie diese Gelegenheiten nicht aus, dann fällt wohl eine Fessel, der irdische Leib gibt die Seele frei, aber sie bleibt dennoch gefesselt, weil sie ohne Licht und Kraft ist und nun dorthin versetzt wird, wo sie die Möglichkeit hat, zum Erkennen ihres armseligen Zustandes sowohl als auch zur Änderung dieses Zustandes zu kommen, doch zumeist unter weit schwierigeren Verhältnissen wie auf der Erde. Dann ist sie also gleichsam rückschrittlich in ihrer Entwicklung gegangen, aber durch eigenes Verschulden, im freien Willen.... Immer aber gibt es einen Weg zur Höhe, denn es gibt unzählige Ausreifungsmöglichkeiten, und die gesamte Schöpfung mit ihren zahllosen Gestirnen bietet diese Möglichkeiten. Doch es hat sich die Seele eine unerhörte Chance verscherzt, denn auf der Erde bot sich ihr die einzige Gelegenheit, zur Kindschaft Gottes zu gelangen. Was das heißt, begreifet ihr Menschen nicht in seiner ganzen Tiefe, aber die Seligkeit derer, die dieses Ziel erreichen, ist unbeschreiblich, und ein jeder Mensch kann das Ziel erreichen, wenn er es will.... Aber auch der beste Wille nützet der Seele nichts, sowie sie auf Erden versagte und nun anderswo doch noch den Weg zur Höhe nimmt.... dieses Ziel ist ihr unerreichbar. Dennoch kann sie gleichfalls zur Seligkeit gelangen, immer weiter zur Höhe steigen, denn die göttliche Vaterliebe ziehet unentwegt ein jedes Seiner Geschöpfe und ruhet nicht eher, bis das Ziel, die Vergeistigung jedes Wesens, erreicht ist.... Den Menschen wird dieses Wissen unterbreitet, aber wenige nur glauben und nehmen es ernst mit der Umgestaltung ihres Wesens.... wenige nur erreichen das Ziel noch im Erdenleben, und wenige nur können die Erde bei ihrem Tode verlassen und als vollvergeistigt in das Lichtreich eingehen. Und doch haben alle Menschen diese Möglichkeit.... Aber es fehlt ihnen die Liebe, und ohne Liebe gibt es keinen Fortschritt, ohne Liebe gibt es kein Licht, kein Erkennen.... Ohne Liebe fehlt auch die rechte Richtung des Willens und die Kraft zur Ausführung. Aber in völliger Willensfreiheit müssen sich die Menschen bewegen auf Erden, und sie können nur immer belehrt werden. Und darum wird, solange die Erde besteht, die Liebe Gottes nicht nachlassen, sie durch Sein Wort zu lehren, zu ermahnen und zu warnen.... Er wird alles tun, was die Menschen zur rechten Willensrichtung bewegen kann, Er wird es nicht fehlen lassen an Gnaden und immer wieder die Liebe predigen, aber Er wird niemals einen Menschen dazu bestimmen, was er in aller Willensfreiheit tun muß.... Der Mensch allein bestimmt das Los seiner Seele nach seinem Tode....
