Power of intercession.... ascension through love.... free will also in the hereafter....

The same applies in the kingdom of the beyond as on earth.... the will to love activity must be present if an ascent from the abyss is to take place, for the being's will is not compelled over there either but it can determine itself, yet its state is also correspondingly. The souls in the beyond remain on the level in which they entered the spiritual kingdom until they have the desire within themselves to ascend and change their present state. And as on earth, love must awaken in them, they must want to help in view of the hardship they see around them. Only this will to help will give them so much strength that they can carry it out. The helping activity can already consist of kind encouragement, advice or warnings, only love for the suffering brothers and sisters must always determine them to do so; the desire to help will then become stronger and stronger and the supply of strength will increase accordingly. Then, however, their own condition will also become more bearable, the surroundings will appear brighter and clearer before their eyes, and the oppressive darkness will give way to a first dull, then ever more luminous light, and the souls will then strive steadfastly upwards. Their thinking becomes clearer and full of desire they also accept instructions which are offered to them by beings of light, however in veiled form. With increasing activity of love the knowledge of these souls also increases and now they themselves are able to hand out to the beings who still stand below them and suffer in the darkness just as those before. Once compassion for suffering souls has awakened in them, they are also saved from sinking into the abyss, but this compassion must first come alive in them because otherwise an ascent is impossible. For love then also directs the will right.... And in order for love to flare up in the unhappy souls, much intercession is necessary which lets them feel the strength of love themselves and awakens counter-love in them. Only love can save the poor souls, because only a prayer sent after them in love has the effect of kindling love in them, whereas prayers without love are completely useless and only put the souls in harness, because they increase their disgust against pseudo-piety and can easily even stifle their faith in God, if they have not yet completely lost it. Everything that happens without love is without effect, on earth as well as in the spiritual kingdom; love, however, loosens the hardest fetters. And therefore every soul's redemption in the beyond is assured if a person on earth takes pity on these souls with true love and, wanting to help, also transfers the will to help to them, for a soul cannot resist a loving intercession, it feels it as a benefit, and in this feeling it also wants to help and do good deeds. Then its ascent is assured, and it steps out of the darkness which enclosed it into the light....

O mesmo se aplica no reino do além como na terra.... a vontade de amar a actividade deve estar presente para que se possa realizar uma ascensão do abismo, pois a vontade do ser também não é ali compelida, mas pode determinar-se a si mesma, mas o seu estado também é correspondente. As almas no além permanecem no nível em que entraram no reino espiritual até terem o desejo dentro de si mesmas de ascender e mudar o seu estado actual. E como na terra, o amor deve despertar neles, devem querer ajudar, tendo em conta as dificuldades que vêem à sua volta. Só esta vontade de ajudar lhes dará tanta força que poderão levá-la a cabo. A actividade de ajuda já pode consistir em bondosos encorajamentos, conselhos ou avisos, só o amor pelos irmãos e irmãs que sofrem deve sempre determiná-los a fazê-lo; o desejo de ajudar tornar-se-á então cada vez mais forte e a oferta de força aumentará em conformidade. Depois, no entanto, a sua própria condição também se tornará mais suportável, o ambiente parecerá mais brilhante e claro perante os seus olhos, e a escuridão opressiva dará lugar a uma primeira luz maçante, depois cada vez mais luminosa, e as almas esforçar-se-ão então com firmeza para cima. O seu pensamento torna-se mais claro e cheio de desejo, aceitam também instruções que lhes são oferecidas por seres de luz, embora de forma velada. Com a crescente actividade de amor, o conhecimento destas almas também aumenta e agora elas próprias são capazes de entregar aos seres que ainda estão abaixo delas e sofrem na escuridão, tal como os anteriores. Uma vez que a compaixão pelas almas sofredoras tenha despertado nelas, elas também são salvas de se afundarem no abismo, mas esta compaixão deve primeiro ganhar vida nelas porque, caso contrário, uma ascensão é impossível. Para o amor então também dirige a vontade direita.... E, para que o amor se exalte nas almas infelizes, é necessária muita intercessão que lhes permita sentir a força do próprio amor e desperte nelas o contra-amor. Só o amor pode salvar as pobres almas, porque só uma oração enviada depois delas no amor tem nelas o efeito de amor amável, enquanto que as orações sem amor são completamente inúteis e só põem as almas em arreios, porque aumentam o seu desgosto contra a pseudo-piedade e podem até abafar facilmente a sua fé em Deus, se ainda não a perderam completamente. Tudo o que acontece sem amor é sem efeito, tanto na terra como no reino espiritual; o amor, contudo, solta os grilhões mais difíceis. E, portanto, a redenção de cada alma no além está assegurada se uma pessoa na terra tem pena dessas almas com verdadeiro amor e, querendo ajudar, também transfere a vontade de as ajudar, pois uma alma não pode resistir a uma intercessão amorosa, sente-a como um benefício, e neste sentimento também quer ajudar e fazer boas acções. Depois é assegurada a sua ascensão, e sai da escuridão que a envolveu na luz...._>Ámen
