Patience with fellow human beings who do not strive spiritually....

Be patient.... Many a soul takes its path through life in secret opposition to Me but does not openly express its rejection and therefore first has to be urged to make an open decision. But love is and remains the only path to realization, and therefore no soul can find its way to Me which does not have love within itself. And thus you need not be surprised if a person lacks understanding for the divine word who is not permeated by love for Me and his neighbour, because he also lacks wisdom, the knowledge about the strength of love, which increases ever more the less the human being is a slave to matter.

(25.10.1950) I certainly often approach people to urge them onto the path of love, yet I respect free will at all times, and you should do the same.... always show love to each other but leave your fellow human being free to decide, for often the will to convince is precisely what determines him to reject. Anyone who has no inner connection with Me or with the spiritual kingdom through good actions or good thoughts will never be able to hear the voice from there either. For good is only that which is done completely selflessly, where no calculation or earthly advantage is striven for. The goodness of the heart inevitably leads to Me and also recognizes the father's voice, but where the intellect only examines, the judgement is not very satisfactory. Nevertheless, I say again and again: Be patient with your fellow human beings whom you cannot convince of My word. So much escapes them that you have to show them love again and again, that you should bear their faults and weaknesses with forbearance.... But persevere on your path.... Through love you gain much strength, and although strength cannot be transferred to a fellow human being at will it nevertheless enables you to do unusual deeds spiritually and earthly. And thus you must influence those by your example who are not yet as far advanced as you, and you will achieve much. Even where you are hindered in the execution of your will, your will will be valued by Me and earn you spiritual progress. But your destiny is predetermined for all of you, and truly, you can mature on earth if you don't fail of will yourselves. And precisely where you overcome resistance you will mature most quickly and one day sing praise and thanks to Me for the many opportunities I have offered you for the purpose of maturing. The will towards Me alone is decisive for the soul's degree of maturity it achieves on earth. And this will is so often tempted because the adversary does not slacken in his effort to wrest souls from Me which have already decided in favour of Me. But where the will is good, victory will also not fail to come....

Geduld mit Mitmenschen, die nicht geistig streben....

Fasset euch in Geduld.... So manche Seele geht ihren Lebensweg im heimlichen Widerstand gegen Mich, spricht aber ihre Ablehnung nicht offen aus und muß daher erst zur offenen Entscheidung gedrängt werden. Die Liebe aber ist und bleibt der einzige Weg zur Erkenntnis, und darum kann keine Seele zu Mir finden, die nicht die Liebe in sich hat. Und so braucht es euch auch nicht zu verwundern, wenn das Verständnis für das göttliche Wort einem Menschen mangelt, der nicht von der Liebe zu Mir und zum Nächsten durchdrungen ist, weil ihm auch die Weisheit fehlt, das Wissen um die Kraft der Liebe, die immer mehr zunimmt, je weniger der Mensch Sklave der Materie ist. (25.10.1950) Wohl trete Ich oft an die Menschen heran, um sie auf den Weg der Liebe zu drängen, doch achte Ich jederzeit den freien Willen, und das gleiche sollet auch ihr tun.... immer wieder Liebe einander entgegenbringen, aber dem Mitmenschen freie Entscheidung lassen, denn oft ist das Überzeugen-Wollen gerade das, was ihn zum Ablehnen bestimmt. Wer selbst keine innere Verbindung mit Mir hat oder mit dem geistigen Reich durch gute Handlungen oder gute Gedanken, der wird auch niemals die Stimme von dort vernehmen können. Denn gut ist nur das, was völlig selbstlos getan wird, wo keinerlei Berechnung oder irdischer Vorteil angestrebt wird. Die Güte des Herzens führt unweigerlich zu Mir hin und erkennt auch die Stimme des Vaters, wo der Verstand aber nur prüfet, fällt das Urteil wenig befriedigend aus. Dennoch sage Ich immer wieder: Habet Geduld mit euren Mitmenschen, die ihr nicht von Meinem Wort überzeugen könnet. Ihnen entgeht so vieles, daß ihr schon darum ihnen immer wieder Liebe entgegenbringen müsset, daß ihr voller Nachsicht ihre Fehler und Schwächen ertragen sollet.... Euren Weg aber wandelt beharrlich weiter.... Durch die Liebe erringet ihr viel Kraft, und wenngleich auch die Kraft nicht beliebig übertragen werden kann auf einen Mitmenschen, befähigt sie doch zu ungewöhnlichen Taten geistig und irdisch. Und also müsset ihr durch euer Beispiel einwirken auf jene, die noch nicht soweit sind wie ihr, und ihr werdet viel erreichen. Selbst wo ihr in der Ausführung eures Willens gehindert werdet, wird euer Wille von Mir gewertet und trägt euch einen geistigen Fortschritt ein. Euch allen aber ist euer Schicksal vorgezeichnet, und wahrlich so, daß ihr ausreifen könnet auf Erden, so ihr selbst nicht willensmäßig versagt. Und gerade, wo ihr Widerstand überwindet, dort reifet ihr am schnellsten und werdet dereinst Mir Lob und Dank singen für die vielen Möglichkeiten, die Ich euch zwecks Ausreifens geboten habe. Der Wille zu Mir allein ist entscheidend für den Reifegrad der Seele, den sie auf Erden erreicht. Und dieser Wille wird so oft versucht, weil der Widersacher nicht nachlässet in seinem Bemühen, Mir die Seelen abzuringen, die sich für Mich schon entschieden haben. Doch wo der Wille gut ist, wird auch der Sieg nicht ausbleiben....
