Feeding at the lord's table.... communion....

Words that come from above enlighten the spirit, they expand knowledge, they strengthen the soul and also help the body's substances to spiritualize themselves and turn towards the soul, which is why the body willingly complies with what the soul, driven by the spirit, demands of it. Words which come from above can only be heard when soul and spirit are united, when the human being's thinking, feeling and wanting is directed inwards, from where the human being's spirit, which is of divine origin, can make itself known to the soul. Hence the spirit gives off something which flows directly from the spiritual kingdom and has taken the path to it, because the spiritual spark in the human being is in contact with the eternal father-spirit and can therefore also constantly draw the strength from Him which expresses itself as knowledge, which it now also passes on to the soul it inhabits. It is therefore a diversion of divine strength to the soul, which he now has to use if the soul is to achieve spiritual success. It must receive the word from above and let it have an effect on it, and the effect of the divine word will be an impulse to act in love. Then, therefore, the soul will also have influenced the body to join the spirit's will, and the loving human being will thereby establish direct contact with God, Who will now work in him through His strength of love.... This is a process which is so easy to understand if it is explained to people correctly, and which nevertheless requires the working of the spirit in the human being in order to be understood. For the world, with its earthly mind, knows nothing and understands nothing of God's union with the human being through love. Although man takes it in literally, he does not understand the connection, just as he has no correct idea of God's working in man. He explains the latter to himself with clear intellectual thinking but he does not recognize direct word transmission, which proves that he does not believe in the working of the spirit and consequently also does not know that and how God's spirit expresses itself in the human being. And therefore people also lack the knowledge about the spiritual feeding at the lord's table. They do not understand the deeper connection between the transmission of the divine word and the lord's supper instituted by God, and they also lack all understanding for the fact that the word emanating from God Himself is the highest and best good which is attainable on earth and exceedingly necessary for the soul's development, and that Jesus Christ on earth only knew the one aim to show people the path which earns them the grace to receive that good, the divine word. For He Himself was in that state where His spirit, in union with the eternal father-spirit, imparted profound knowledge to Him and spirit, soul and body were united in constant activity of love. He constantly drew strength from God, He was united with the father of eternity, His soul was fed by the father with His word, and thus He gave back to His fellow human beings what He Himself received.... He distributed the bread of heaven, He passed on the divine word and admonished them to do likewise, He gave bodily and spiritual food to those who hunger and thirst. The giving of the bread was only a figurative comparison of what Jesus offered people with His word.... the divine truth, which truly brings maturity to the soul if it is received with heart and mind. He offered people the word which the father spoke in Him as true food and true drink and admonished them to do the same, to spread the divine teaching of love and thus to refresh people with food and drink, so that they would then strive for union with God and God Himself would be able to refresh them at His table, so that the spiritual spark would flare up in every person and the word of God from above could be heard by all who desire it, who hunger and thirst for spiritual nourishment....

Alimentação à Mesa do Senhor.... Communion....

As palavras que vêm de cima iluminam o espírito, expandem o conhecimento, fortalecem a alma e também ajudam as substâncias do corpo a espiritualizarem-se e a voltarem-se para a alma, razão pela qual o corpo obedece de bom grado ao que a alma, impulsionada pelo espírito, lhe exige. Palavras que vêm de cima só podem ser ouvidas quando a alma e o espírito estão unidos, quando o pensamento, o sentimento e o desejo do ser humano são dirigidos para dentro, de onde o espírito do ser humano, que é de origem divina, pode dar-se a conhecer à alma. Assim, o espírito dá algo que flui directamente do reino espiritual e tomou o caminho para ele, porque a centelha espiritual no ser humano está em contacto com o eterno Pai-Espírito e pode, por isso, também tirar constantemente dele a força que se expressa como conhecimento que agora também transmite à alma que habita. É, portanto, um desvio da força divina para a alma, que agora tem de usar para que a alma possa alcançar o sucesso espiritual. Deve receber a Palavra de cima e deixá-la ter um efeito sobre ela, e o efeito da Palavra divina será um impulso para agir no amor. Então, portanto, a alma terá também influenciado o corpo a juntar-se à vontade do espírito, e o ser humano amoroso estabelecerá assim contacto directo com Deus, que agora trabalhará nele através da Sua força de amor.... Este é um processo que é tão fácil de compreender se for explicado correctamente às pessoas, e que no entanto requer o funcionamento do espírito no ser humano para poder ser compreendido. Pois o mundo, com a sua mente terrena, nada sabe e nada compreende da união de Deus com o ser humano através do amor. Embora o homem o aceite literalmente, ele não compreende a ligação, tal como não tem uma ideia correcta do trabalho de Deus no homem. Ele explica este último a si próprio com um pensamento intelectual claro, mas não reconhece a transmissão directa da Palavra, o que prova que ele não acredita no funcionamento do espírito e, consequentemente, também não sabe isso e como o espírito de Deus se expressa no ser humano. E, por conseguinte, as pessoas também carecem do conhecimento sobre a alimentação espiritual à mesa do Senhor. Eles não compreendem a ligação mais profunda entre a transmissão da Palavra divina e a Ceia do Senhor instituída por Deus, e também não compreendem o facto de que a Palavra que emana do próprio Deus é o bem mais alto e melhor que é alcançável na terra e extremamente necessário para o desenvolvimento da alma, e que Jesus Cristo na terra só conhecia o único objectivo de mostrar às pessoas o caminho que lhes dá a graça de receberem esse bem, a Palavra divina. Pois Ele próprio estava naquele estado em que o seu espírito, em união com o eterno Pai-Espírito, lhe transmitia um conhecimento profundo e espírito, alma e corpo estavam unidos em constante actividade de amor. Ele constantemente retirou força de Deus, Ele estava unido ao Pai da eternidade, a Sua alma era alimentada pelo Pai com a Sua Palavra, e assim Ele devolveu aos Seus semelhantes o que Ele próprio recebeu.... Distribuiu o pão do céu, passou a Palavra divina e admoestou-os a fazer o mesmo, deu alimento corporal e espiritual àqueles que tinham fome e sede. A doação do pão foi apenas uma comparação figurativa do que Jesus ofereceu às pessoas com a Sua Palavra.... a verdade divina, que traz verdadeiramente maturidade à alma se for recebida com o coração e a mente. Ele ofereceu às pessoas a Palavra que o Pai n'Ele falou como verdadeiro alimento e verdadeira bebida e admoestou-as a fazer o mesmo, a espalhar o ensinamento divino do amor e assim refrescar as pessoas com comida e bebida, para que depois se esforçassem pela união com Deus e o próprio Deus pudesse refrescá-las à Sua mesa, para que a centelha espiritual se acendesse em cada pessoa e a Palavra de Deus vinda de cima pudesse ser ouvida por todos os que a desejassem, que tivessem fome e sede de alimento espiritual...._>Ámen
