Disappointment of the people - improvement.... divine intervention....

A great disappointment will be experienced by those people who hope for an improvement of the situation in life and do all kinds of work with the prospect of a better time. They believe they can reshape their lives through human hands and human will, they believe in an advancement in every respect, they carry out all work which amounts to provision for the long term, they are exceedingly hard-working in unimportant things, but they leave the most important thing unattended.... to make provision for the life beyond. Their thoughts constantly revolve around earthly duties, earthly pleasures, earthly prosperity. But they are completely indifferent to spiritual life, and thus it is understandable that they strive away from God even though they talk about His name, for the world's charms are stronger and the world is part of the one who works against God and wants to displace Him. And since they concede more rights to God's adversary through their desire, what they desire will also be granted to them, yet he will also take possession of their soul and a release from his control requires a strength of will which earthly-minded people cannot muster. For these people the disappointment will be overwhelming if the earth is afflicted by divine will, if the natural disaster destroys all their hopes and places them into extremely meagre living conditions which contradict all their plans and hopes. It will be a bitter time for all worldly-minded people which they can hardly bear, for now they realise the impossibility of a better way of life and are incapable of any constructive work. They grumble and complain and reject a creator and sustainer of all things, for they are unable to recognise God in this adversity which has occurred through the work of destruction. They will not accept a spiritual explanation of the coming time, for their worldly attitude deprives them of all ability to make a right assessment and therefore they will be completely at a loss in the face of the newly created situation until God has mercy upon them and either takes them from earth or gives them a renewed opportunity to take note of His word in order to be able to change seriously, if they muster the will to do so. Nevertheless, it is the only possibility, for the inclination towards the world is too great to be discarded if God had not simultaneously combined this work of destruction with an action of help in order to give them the opportunity to detach themselves from matter. For this must first be overcome if the human being wants to be saved, if he wants to get to know his actual task on earth and strive to fulfil it. Divine intervention through nature is the last means of help to turn to spiritual striving in free will and to learn to overcome the earth with its charms.

Desapontamento do povo - recovery.... Intervenção divina....

Uma grande decepção será sentida por aquelas pessoas que esperam uma melhoria na situação da vida e fazem todo o tipo de trabalho com vista a um tempo melhor. Acreditam que podem reformular as suas vidas através das mãos humanas e da vontade humana, acreditam numa ascensão em todos os aspectos, executam todo o trabalho que equivale a prover a longo prazo, são extremamente laboriosos em coisas sem importância, mas deixam a coisa mais importante sem vigilância.... Tomar providências para a vida no além. Os seus pensamentos giram constantemente em torno de deveres terrenos, prazeres terrenos, prosperidade terrena. Mas eles são completamente indiferentes à vida espiritual, e por isso é compreensível que se afastem de Deus apesar de falarem o Seu nome, pois os encantos do mundo são mais fortes e o mundo faz parte daquele que trabalha contra Deus e O quer deslocar. E uma vez que eles concedem mais direitos ao adversário de Deus através do seu desejo, o que eles desejam também lhes será concedido, mas ele também tomará posse da sua alma e uma libertação do seu controlo requer uma força de vontade que as pessoas de espírito terreno não podem reunir. Para estas pessoas a decepção será esmagadora se a terra for afligida pela vontade divina, se a catástrofe natural destruir todas as suas esperanças e as colocar em condições de vida extremamente escassas que contradizem todos os seus planos e esperanças. Será um tempo amargo para todas as pessoas mundanas que dificilmente poderão suportar, pois agora apercebem-se da impossibilidade de um modo de vida melhor e são incapazes de qualquer trabalho construtivo. Eles resmungam e queixam-se e rejeitam um Criador e Sustentador de todas as coisas, pois são incapazes de reconhecer Deus nesta adversidade que ocorreu através do trabalho de destruição. Não aceitarão uma explicação espiritual do tempo vindouro, pois a sua atitude mundana priva-os de toda a capacidade de fazer uma avaliação correcta e, por conseguinte, estarão completamente perdidos face à situação recém-criada até que Deus tenha piedade deles e os tire da terra ou lhes dê uma oportunidade renovada de tomarem nota da Sua Palavra, a fim de poderem mudar seriamente, se reunirem a vontade de o fazer. No entanto, é a única possibilidade, pois a inclinação para o mundo é demasiado grande para ser descartada se Deus não tivesse simultaneamente combinado esta obra de destruição com uma acção de ajuda a fim de lhes dar a oportunidade de se separarem da matéria. Pois isto tem primeiro de ser superado se o ser humano quiser tornar-se feliz, se quiser conhecer a sua verdadeira tarefa na terra e esforçar-se por cumpri-la. A intervenção divina através da natureza é o último meio de ajuda para se voltar à luta espiritual em livre arbítrio e para aprender a superar a terra com os seus encantos._>Ámen
