Acknowledgement of the work of redemption necessary for maturity of soul....

The open confession of Christ and His work of redemption irrevocably belongs to the attainment of maturity of soul. The human being cannot mature without love.... but the one who has love also recognizes Him who sacrificed Himself for humanity out of love. He also knows that Christ took death upon Himself on the cross as atonement for humanity's great guilt, that He therefore wanted to redeem it from an infinitely long time of captivity. And consequently He will also acknowledge this work of great love and mercy and place Himself under Christ's cross in order to also partake of the graces of the act of salvation. But the graces of the act of salvation only bring about the maturing of the soul, for the redeemer Himself now draws the soul to Himself, upwards, He imparts strength to it to want and do what is right. Anyone who does not acknowledge Jesus Christ and His act of salvation remains under satan’s control, his will remains weak or turned away from God, the soul remains on a low level of development, for it lacks love.... But love recognizes Jesus Christ, for where love is there is also wisdom, the power of realization for pure truth, and thus Christ's act of salvation will be fully understandable to the loving person, whereas the unloving person is completely ignorant of humanity's sin and guilt, of the meaning and purpose of earthly life, of the human being's aim and task on earth. If he knows all this his way of life is already a life of love, and then the divine redeemer will only be the symbol of profoundest love for him, Whom he has to acknowledge and Whom he also confesses before the world if this is demanded of him. And then his soul will strive upwards and it will certainly reach its aim, because it will not strive of its own strength but with Jesus Christ, because its will will be strengthened by Him and the soul will constantly receive strength and grace, for His promise is: 'He who believes in Me has eternal life...." Faith in Jesus Christ and His act of salvation is absolutely necessary in order to be able to enter the kingdom itself, which signifies eternal life for the soul, which is filled with light and strength and signifies bliss, which Jesus promised to those who believe in Him, because these will endeavour to follow Him and live a life of love as Jesus exemplified to them on earth, for only love will earn them supreme beatitude in eternity....

혼의 성장에 구속역사가 필요함을 인정하는 일.

혼의 성장을 이루는 일에 절대적으로 그리스도와 그의 구속사역을 공개적으로 고백하는 일이 속해 있다. 인간은 사랑 없이는 성숙할 수 없다. 그러나 사랑을 가진 사람은 또한 인류를 향한 사랑으로 자신을 희생한 분을 인정하고, 그는 또한 그리스도가 인류의 큰 죄짐을 위한 속죄로 십자가에서 죽었고, 끝없이 긴 포로 생활에서 인류를 구원하기 원하셨음을 안다. 결과적으로 그는 또한 이 위대한 사랑과 긍휼의 역사를 깨닫고, 구속역사의 은혜에 참여하기 위해 자신을 그리스도의 십자가 아래 둘 것이다.

그러나 구속사역의 은혜가 비로소 혼을 성숙하게 한다. 왜냐면 구속자 자신이 이제 혼을 높은 곳의 자신에게 이끌기 때문이다. 그는 혼에게 옳은 일을 원하고 행할 힘을 준다. 예수 그리스도와 그의 구속사역을 깨닫지 못하는 사람은 사탄의 권세 아래 머물고, 그는 연약한 상태로 머물고, 하나님을 떠난 상태로 머문다. 혼은 낮은 성장 단계에 머문다. 왜냐면 혼에게 사랑이 부족하기 때문이다. 그러나 사랑은 예수 그리스도를 깨닫는다. 왜냐면 사랑이 있는 곳에는 지혜와 순수한 진리를 깨달을 힘이 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 사랑을 행하는 사람은 그리스도의 구속사역을 전적으로 모두 이해할 수 있다. 반면에 사랑 없는 사람은 인류의 죄와 죄짐에 대해 완전히 무지하고, 이 땅의 삶의 의미와 목적에 대해 무지하고, 이 땅의 인간의 목표와 과제에 대해 무지하다.

그가 이 모든 것을 안다면, 그의 삶은 이미 사랑 안에서 사는 삶이고, 그러면 단지 하나님의 구세주가 그에게는 가장 깊은 사랑의 상징이다. 그는 예수 그리스도를 인정해야만 하고, 세상이 그에게 요구한다면, 그는 또한 세상 앞에서는 예수 그리스도를 고백한다. 그의 혼은 위를 향하고, 또한 안전하게 목표에 도달하다. 왜냐면 혼이 자신의 힘으로 추구하지 않고, 예수 그리스도와 함께 추구하기 때문이다. 왜냐면 혼의 의지는 예수 그리스도에 의해 강하게 되고, 혼이 지속적으로 힘과 은혜를 받기 때문이다. “나를 믿는 사람은 영원한 생명을 얻는다."

자신이 영원한 생명을 의미하는 나라에 들어가기 위해서는 예수 그리스도와 그의 구속사역을 믿는 믿음이 절대적으로 필요하다. 영원한 생명은 예수가 자신을 믿는 사람들에게 약속한 것처럼 혼에게 빛과 능력이 충만한 축복을 의미한다. 왜냐면 예수를 믿는 사람들은 예수가 이 땅에서 그들을 위해 모범적으로 산 것처럼, 예수를 따르고, 사랑을 행하는 삶을 살기 위해 노력할 것이기 때문이다. 왜냐면 단지 사랑이 그들에게 영원 가운데 가장 최고의 축복을 주기 때문이다.
