Intercession by fellow human beings....

How unwise it is to bypass the direct connection with God and to want to make use of a fellow human being whose prayer is supposed to benefit him. God only respects prayer which is sent up to Him in deepest love for the neighbour, and the power of love is then used for the benefit of the needy. But every other prayer is useless. In His merciful love God sends suffering and adversity upon the human being in order to motivate him to entrust himself to Him without limits, in order to motivate him to establish the right relationship between a child and its father, because only then can the strength of divine love touch the human being's heart and through this influx of strength help his soul to develop spiritually. If this intimate connection is disregarded, then the influx of strength is only slight and also only guaranteed if the intercession for the fellow human being comes from a loving heart.... otherwise the human being will remain entirely without strength and his soul will have to starve. A person can never achieve the transformation of his fellow human being's nature but he has to be active himself, he has to turn his will towards God himself and make contact with Him in order to receive strength. Loving intercession is only useful for him insofar as strength is supplied to him which lifts his weakened will.... that he thus receives the strength through intercession to turn himself towards God. This supply of strength is the effect of the fellow human being's love; but without love every prayer is useless, for only profound love will cause a prayer to be sent to God in spirit and in truth, and then it will also be successful. God requires the connection with Him, which every human being can establish if he wants to. Anyone who relies on the prayer of a fellow human being is not yet doing God's will, and thus that prayer will also remain ineffective. The human being can achieve far more with a heartfelt sigh than a long prayer which lacks this heartfeltness, just as the heartfelt thought of God gives him more strength than a prayer of intercession by a fellow human being. But God evaluates the degree of love of the one who prays for his fellow human being, because love always gives strength and thus a loving intercession does not remain ineffective. And that is why again and again great suffering and bitter hardship befalls the individual person, because he should not forget Him Who alone can help him, because he should establish the right relationship which alone secures him the supply of strength from God, and because he has to become active himself in order to achieve success for his soul. And people should not forget that their fellow human beings can never take the responsibility away from them, that everyone has to take responsibility for himself and therefore also has to become active himself.... and that they can only carry out this activity with God's help, Whom they have to call upon in heartfelt prayer for strength and loving care so that they will reach their aim, so that their souls will mature on earth....

Intercesión a través de otros seres humanos....

Que poco sabio es evadir la conexión directa con Dios y querer utilizar a un prójimo, cuya oración le debe beneficiar. Dios sólo presta atención a la oración que se Le dirige a Él con el amor más profundo al prójimo, y la fuerza del amor viene ahora en ayuda del necesitado. Pero cualquier otra oración es inútil. En Su amor misericordioso, Dios envía sufrimiento y necesidad a los humanos para moverlos a confiarse a Él sin restricciones, para moverlos a establecer la relación correcta de un niño al Padre, porque sólo entonces la fuerza del amor divino puede tocar el corazón del ser humano y su alma es ayudada a través de esta afluencia de fuerza para desarrollarse espiritualmente hacia arriba.

Si se ignora esta conexión íntima, entonces la influencia de fuerza es sólo pequeña y sólo está garantizada si la intercesión por el prójimo proviene de un corazón amoroso.... De lo contrario, el ser humano queda completamente sin fuerza y su alma debe morir de hambre. Un ser humano nunca puede lograr la transformación del ser de su semejante, sino que éste mismo tiene que ser activo, él mismo tiene dirigir su voluntad hacia Dios y establecer una conexión con Él para poder recibir fuerza. Sólo la intercesión amorosa le es útil en el sentido de que se le da fuerza que levanta su voluntad debilitada.... para que a través de la intercesión reciba la fuerza para dirigirse él mismo hacia Dios.

Esta transmisión de fuerza es el resultado del amor a nuestros semejantes; pero sin amor toda oración es inútil, porque sólo el amor profundo hará que una oración sea enviada a Dios en espíritu y en verdad y entonces también tendrá éxito. Dios exige la conexión con Él que cada ser humano puede establecer si quiere. Quien confía en la oración de otro ser humano aún no tiene su voluntad dirigida hacia Dios, por lo que esa oración también quedará ineficaz. Un ser humano puede lograr mucho más con un suspiro sincero que con una larga oración sin esta intimidad, así como el pensamiento sincero a Dios le da más fuerza que una oración de intercesión a través de otros seres humano. Pero Dios evalúa el grado de amor de quien ora por sus semejantes, porque el amor siempre da fuerza y por eso incluso la intercesión amorosa no queda ineficaz.

Y es por eso que siempre le sobreviene al ser humano individual un gran sufrimiento y una amarga necesidad, porque no debe olvidarse de Aquel, Que es el único que puede ayudarlo, porque debe establecer la relación correcta que es la única que le asegura la transmisión de fuerza de Dios, y porque él mismo debe estar activo para poder lograr el éxito de su alma. Y los humanos no deberían olvidar que sus semejantes nunca pueden quitarles la responsabilidad, que cada uno tiene que ser responsable de sí mismo y, por tanto, tiene que actuar por sí mismo.... y que sólo pueden llevar a cabo esta actividad con la ayuda de Dios, a Quien deben invocar en oración sencilla pidiendo por fuerza y un amoroso cuidado para que puedan lograr su objetivo, para que sus almas maduren en la Tierra....
