Dead matter.... activity.... life....

The change that takes place in seemingly dead matter is imperceptible, and that is why man cannot detect any life in it. But in long periods of time even this matter takes on a different form, because every activity, even the most minimal, brings about a reshaping or transformation of matter and activity is life. The process of transformation, if it is not carried out by human hands, is often of very long duration in works of creation over which human will has little influence, i.e. in creations of nature, because it will take place according to divine will. God knows about the resistance of the spiritual bound in matter, and depending on its will for activity the rigid lifelessness decreases; activity starts according to God's will, and matter changes, even if in a hardly noticeable way. And there is nothing in earthly creation that does not show this slow transformation, even though the human eye does not see it because it happens extremely slowly. Yet everything in creation on earth is in slow upward development, subject to the law of compulsion.... Consequently, nothing remains in the same form but changes, partly slowly, partly quickly, depending on the resistance which the spiritual opposes God in the works of creation. And thus there is nothing dead on earth, i.e. lifeless in itself, but everything harbours life, for the spiritual substance, even in hardest matter, has the urge for activity and it only depends on its will whether it can carry out this activity, in contrast to the state of death in the beyond where the spiritual substance lacks all strength for activity, where it remains completely inactive but is nevertheless aware of its existence. This is why the state of bound will in matter is still preferable to the state of death in the beyond, because it once improves, albeit after an infinitely long time, because the spiritual being in matter has the urge for freedom and only needs to direct its will in the right direction, whereas the being's will in the beyond is completely weakened and therefore it no longer uses it.... It remains completely without will in a dead state and sinks ever more into the abyss until it is used as a cold mass, as a cover of the spiritual substance, as matter itself, which is now dependent on the will of the spiritual substance sheltering in it for how long matter exists unchanged. For a distinction must be made between the spiritual, which is bound in matter, and matter itself, which is likewise spiritual, yet much more God-opposing. Hard matter in itself could therefore be called dead, yet the spiritual substance within it gives it life, so that the process of dissolution will one day begin for it too and thus also the beginning of the upward development in a new epoch of redemption. The spiritual in matter can escape from it as soon as it is destroyed and continue its development in a new form which is less hard, but matter itself is not yet dissolved and is again enlivened by spiritual in corresponding will to resist, so that matter often grants endless times to such spiritual stay before it can dissolve itself. The state of death is so agonizing that it signifies the deepest hell, and the powers of the underworld are only satisfied once they have brought the soul into this state, because it signifies utmost distance from God, thus withdrawal of all strength from God. But God also has mercy on this spiritual being and gives it the opportunity to redeem itself again from the dead state. But eternities pass before this process of redemption begins, which again requires infinite times before it is finished....

Matéria morta.... Atividade.... Life....

A mudança que ocorre na matéria aparentemente morta é imperceptível, e é por isso que o homem não pode detectar nenhuma vida nela. Mas em longos períodos de tempo até mesmo esta matéria assume uma forma diferente, porque cada atividade, mesmo a mais mínima, traz uma remodelação ou transformação da matéria e da atividade é a vida. O processo de transformação, se não for realizado por mãos humanas, é muitas vezes de muito longa duração em obras de criação sobre as quais a vontade humana tem pouca influência, ou seja, em criações da natureza, porque acontecerá de acordo com a vontade divina. Deus conhece a resistência do limite espiritual na matéria, e dependendo da sua vontade de atividade a rígida falta de vida diminui; a atividade começa de acordo com a vontade de Deus, e a matéria muda, mesmo que de uma maneira quase imperceptível. E não há nada na criação terrestre que não mostre essa lenta transformação, mesmo que o olho humano não a veja porque ela acontece extremamente lentamente. No entanto, tudo na criação na Terra está em lento desenvolvimento ascendente, sujeito à lei da compulsão..... Consequentemente, nada permanece na mesma forma, mas muda, em parte lentamente, em parte rapidamente, dependendo da resistência que o espiritual se opõe a Deus nas obras da criação. E assim não há nada morto na Terra, ou seja, sem vida em si, mas tudo abriga a vida, pois a substância espiritual, mesmo na matéria mais dura, tem o impulso para a atividade e só depende da sua vontade se ela pode realizar essa atividade, ao contrário do estado de morte no além onde a substância espiritual carece de toda a força para a atividade, onde ela permanece completamente inativa, mas está, no entanto, consciente da sua existência. É por isso que o estado de vontade vinculada na matéria ainda é preferível ao estado de morte no além, porque uma vez melhora, embora depois de um tempo infinitamente longo, porque o ser espiritual na matéria tem o impulso de liberdade e só precisa de dirigir a sua vontade na direcção certa, enquanto a vontade do ser no além está completamente enfraquecida e por isso já não a usa.... Permanece completamente sem vontade em estado morto e afunda cada vez mais no abismo até ser usada como massa fria, como cobertura da substância espiritual, como a própria matéria, que agora depende da vontade da substância espiritual que nela se abriga por quanto tempo a matéria existe inalterada. Pois deve ser feita uma distinção entre o espiritual, que está ligado à matéria, e a própria matéria, que é igualmente espiritual, mas muito mais oposto a Deus. A matéria dura em si mesma poderia, portanto, ser chamada de morta, mas a substância espiritual dentro dela lhe dá vida, de modo que o processo de dissolução começará um dia também para ela e, assim, também o início do desenvolvimento ascendente em uma nova época de redenção. O espiritual na matéria pode escapar dela assim que for destruído e continuar o seu desenvolvimento numa nova forma menos dura, mas a própria matéria ainda não está dissolvida e é novamente animada pela vontade correspondente de resistência espiritual, de modo que a matéria muitas vezes concede tempos intermináveis a essa permanência espiritual antes de poder dissolver-se a si mesma. O estado de morte é tão agonizante que significa o inferno mais profundo, e as forças do submundo só são satisfeitas depois de terem trazido a alma para este estado, porque significa a máxima distância de Deus, retirando assim toda a força de Deus. Mas Deus também tem piedade deste ser espiritual e lhe dá a oportunidade de se redimir novamente do estado morto. Mas as eternidades passam antes que esse processo de redenção comece, o que novamente requer infinitas vezes antes de ser concluído...._>Amém
