Divine commandments - guidelines....

By virtue of the guidelines given to the human being through the divine commandments he can also exercise spiritual control over his thoughts, words and actions at any time. And this is necessary if he wants to constantly progress in his development, for he can very easily fall into the error of becoming sluggish and neglecting the work on his soul as soon as he believes to live in accordance with God's will. Then there is always the danger of stagnation which he can very easily avert as soon as he exercises strict self-criticism and accounts for every thought, every word and every deed as to whether they are good, i.e. whether they correspond to God's commandments, Who only demands love. For God's adversary does not rest, he seeks to gain influence over the soul, over the human being's will, until the last hour. And therefore the human being is never out of danger of falling prey to him if he is not mindful and always takes God's commandments as a guideline for his way of life. Self-knowledge is the first thing a person needs if he wants to change from the bottom of his soul, for he will only strive for an improvement, a change for the better, if he discovers deficiencies in himself. In all humility he should ask God for the grace of self-knowledge, he should often hold up the mirror of his soul to himself and fight against everything impure, he should practice gentleness, peaceableness, patience and mercy, he should serve with love and be of an humble spirit, then he will also receive the strength to recognize his faults and correct them. For the human being cannot do anything without God's support, his will and strength are too weak if they are not strengthened by divine love. Yet the human being should muster the will to make himself worthy of divine strength of love. And thus he should work on himself and constantly think about his faults and weaknesses, only then will he be able to get rid of them, because with good will he will also receive the strength to fight against them. The divine commandments only demand love, and therefore it is easy to check how far one's thinking, speaking and acting corresponds to love of God and neighbour. And if this standard is applied the human being will exercise strict criticism of himself, he will not be negligent in his soul's work, he will wrestle and pray and thereby also gain possession of grace, he will unite with God ever more intimately through his prayer, and he will mature in his soul. For then he will live his earthly life consciously, he will try to shape himself according to God's will.... he takes God's commandments as a guideline and thus acts according to His word.... And he will never ever remain at a standstill but travel the constant path of ascent until he reaches the aim.... the union with God.... which can only be achieved if the human being changes to love, if he aligns himself with the nature of eternal love, which is supremely perfect, and if he thus strives to become perfect....

Mandamentos Divinos - Diretrizes....

Em virtude das orientações dadas ao ser humano através dos mandamentos divinos, ele também pode exercer controle espiritual sobre seus pensamentos, palavras e ações a qualquer momento. E isto é necessário se ele quiser progredir constantemente no seu desenvolvimento, pois pode muito facilmente cair no erro de se tornar preguiçoso e negligenciar o trabalho na sua alma, assim que acredita viver de acordo com a vontade de Deus. Então há sempre o perigo da estagnação que ele pode facilmente evitar assim que exerce uma autocrítica rigorosa e presta contas de cada pensamento, de cada palavra e de cada ação sobre se eles são bons, ou seja, se correspondem aos mandamentos de Deus, que só exige amor. Pois o adversário de Deus não descansa, ele procura ganhar influência sobre a alma, sobre a vontade do ser humano, até a última hora. E, portanto, o ser humano nunca está fora do perigo de cair vítima dele se não estiver atento e sempre toma os mandamentos de Deus como orientação para o seu modo de vida. O autoconhecimento é a primeira coisa que uma pessoa precisa se quiser mudar do fundo da sua alma, pois só se esforçará por uma melhoria, uma mudança para melhor, se descobrir deficiências em si mesma. Com toda a humildade deve pedir a Deus a graça do autoconhecimento, deve muitas vezes erguer para si o espelho da sua alma e lutar contra tudo o que é impuro, deve praticar a doçura, a paz, a paciência e a misericórdia, deve servir com amor e ser de espírito arrogante, então receberá também a força para reconhecer as suas faltas e corrigi-las. Pois o ser humano não pode fazer nada sem o apoio de Deus, sua vontade e sua força são muito fracas se não forem fortalecidas pelo amor divino. No entanto, o ser humano deve reunir a vontade de se tornar digno da força divina do amor. E assim ele deve trabalhar sobre si mesmo e pensar constantemente nas suas falhas e fraquezas, só então ele será capaz de se livrar delas, porque com boa vontade ele também receberá a força para lutar contra elas. Os mandamentos divinos exigem apenas amor, e por isso é fácil verificar até que ponto o pensamento, o falar e o agir correspondem ao amor a Deus e ao próximo. E se esse padrão for aplicado, o ser humano exercerá uma crítica severa de si mesmo, não será negligente no trabalho de sua alma, lutará e orará e, com isso, também ganhará posse da graça, unir-se-á a Deus cada vez mais intimamente através de sua oração, e amadurecerá em sua alma. Pois então ele viverá sua vida terrena conscientemente, ele tentará moldar-se de acordo com a vontade de Deus.... ele toma os mandamentos de Deus como diretriz e assim age de acordo com a Sua Palavra.... E ele nunca permanecerá parado, mas percorrerá o caminho constante da ascensão até alcançar a meta.... a união com Deus.... que só pode ser alcançada se o ser humano mudar para o amor, se ele se alinhar com a natureza do amor eterno, que é supremamente perfeito, e se ele assim se esforçar para se tornar perfeito...._>Amém
